Celibacy is about living in awareness and with care. Celibacy is something that should be chosen as a positive affirmation; not because one wishes to deny, avoid, escape.
As per, namely, the Catholic Church--it is not about believing that there is something wrong or bad within you which must be defeated or suppressed.
Celibacy is about Love. It is about that deeply spiritual, unconditional love and living connected with it, being in tune with the Universe.
Peace and much love to all. =)

This is the worse crackpot i've heard ever!! A physical connection is all that is required? LOLLLL Someone tranquilize this witch or sedate her ASAP! The people are laughing at her, not with her!
I guess you just don't get it Darlok... :-)
NO Dee.. I get it.. trust me i do!! :)
Cool video for sure :)
Dee, how is that a cool video?
This video really is amazing! Thanks for sharing this, El-Ano-Ra!
And just to be perfectly clear with everyone, I'm not talking about a "vow" of life-long celibacy. But when you find yourself in a time when you are not in relationship or what-have-you, take advantage of that time. The best type of "vow" one could make regarding this subject would probably be to vow to enter into relationships for the "right" reasons and with the "right" intentions.
And also just to be clear, I have nothing against sex! What a beautiful experience of merging energies! What an expanding experience! What a beautiful and sacred experience!
Peace and much love to all! =D
This is harsh.
It took me a while... hahaha I get it!
Come on it's no that bad, I don't find it offensive at all.
Celibacy to me has always been about discipline, be it spiritual or otherwise. The sex drive is nothing to underestimate--It's there for a reason, and balancing it's influence is one of the key's to moving forward as an evolving, sentient being. Easier said than done, I know- but throwing around cliched and trite guilt-trip language in regard to sex serves no purpose but to further misunderstanding of what Bette Davis referred to as, "God's greatest joke" (sex). I'm not referring to the original post on this subject, which I feel to be honest and sensitive in regard to this oft times confusing subject, but rather to some of the responses which sounded rather juvenile to say the least. We all oughtta Lighten Up on the whole sex thing--people eventually figure it out one way or the other. Love and Laughter--J.
Bette Davis certainly has some humorous and very wise things to say regarding sex. Thank you, juliano66. Peace and much love. =)
