Unfinished Bruce Lee project taken on by Fast & Furious director Justin Lin
The legacy of Bruce Lee continues, 43 years after his untimely death, with news that Fast & Furious director Justin Lin is working on the pilot for Warrior, a project Lee was unable to finish.
Cinemax has picked up the pilot for the crime drama, written by Lee and set in San Francisco at the time of the Tong Wars – violent disputes between rival Chinese gangs that took place between the 1880s and 1920s.
Lee’s daughter Shannon, who discovered a large collection of handwritten notes on the series, will executive produce on behalf of Bruce Lee Enterprises while Jonathon Tropper penned the pilot.
The martial arts master’s strong catalogue of films before his 1973 death are a large part of why the genre is still so strong today – but given that Enter The Dragon is the film Lee bowed out on, Lin has a lot to live up to.

Bruce Lee: Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless like water if you put water in the cup it becomes the cup and water can flow or it can crash.
