There is a funny old story:

It was a cool evening in ancient China. Chuang Tzu's friend went looking for him at the local inn. He found Chuang Tzu sitting at a table, sipping his drink in a contemplative mood.

"There you are!" Chuang Tzu's friend greeted him. "I thought by now you would be telling everybody another one of your stories. Why so quiet?"

"There is a question on my mind," said Chuang Tzu, "a question about existence."

"I see. Would you like me to leave you alone to your thoughts?"

"No, let me share it with you. Perhaps you can provide me with your perspective."

"My perspective is of little value, but I would be glad to listen." He pulled up a chair.

"I was out for a stroll late in the afternoon," said Chuang Tzu. "I went to one of my favorite spots under a tree. I sat there, thinking about the meaning of life. It was so warm and pleasant that I soon relaxed, dozed off, and drifted into a dream. In my dream, I found myself flying up above the field. I looked behind me and saw that I had wings. They were large and beautiful, and they fluttered rapidly. I had turned into a butterfly! It was such a feeling of freedom and joy, to be so carefree and fly around so lightly in any way I wished. Everything in this dream felt absolutely real in every way. Before long, I forgot that I was ever Chuang Tzu. I was simply the butterfly and nothing else."

"I've had dreams of flying myself, but never as a butterly," Chuang Tzu's friend said. "This dream sounds like a wonderful experience."

"It was, but like all things, it had to end sooner or later. Gradually, I woke up and realized that I was Chuang Tzu after all. This is what puzzles me."

"What is so puzzling about it? You had a nice dream, that's all there is to it."

"What if I am dreaming right now? This conversation I am having with you seems real in every way, but so did my dream. I thought I was Chuang Tzu who had a dream of being a butterfly. What if I am a butterfly who, at this very moment, is dreaming of being Chuang Tzu?"

"Well, I can tell you that you are actually Chuang Tzu, not a butterfly."

Chuang Tzu smiled: "You may simply be part of my dream, no more or less real than anything else. Thus, there is nothing you can do to help me identify the distinction between Chuang Tzu and the butterfly. This, my friend, is the essential question about the transformation of existence."

Nice story, right? Last night I found myself also in a very vivid dream (ha, where do I know that I found myself in the dream???) where I experienced deeply encouraging things. I woke up this morning with tears in my eyes and with a mind of thankfulness and joy.

The mind thing is basicly not even in our time well understood. Obviously there is a similarity between neuro science and modern physics: both need a letting go of materialistic basements. In this regard neuro science is still a little retarted - they still look for materialistic grounds for the mind thing.

Modern physics has come to the point even discussing the possibility of having no real external space, but the universe appearing external being in fact a mental happening.

Has a human a mind and a soul? No, he has not and never will. The notion of having is not fitting in here. Instead, a human is a mind, is a soul. That is a fundamental difference. That also means that essential basics of what a human is ara not necessarily obvious. Thus being human remains in the realm of human eyes to a great deal invisible.

Now we could ask: how many universes (at least) appear, and how many universes humans inherit? One we share in common, will the clueless human say. Countless, will the one say, who is amazed by the human mind, and often simultanously many!

Was I in a special universe, when I dreamed last night? Did I switch universes when I woke up this morning? It seems obvious to me...

Even unable explaining the whole range of mental movements, existential connotations and walking in different realities and illusions, we can say that the mind thing is an utmost vivid and incomrehensible complex leaving the experiencing subject in a state of either ispiration, or devastation or both. The visible and invisible parts are only images of deeper processes. The human mind is always and somehow part of the mental movement in, among and under the Being: all that is and can be and can come forward into existence.

Basically there might not be any fatality of human minds as far as all movement is connected to general mind of all-that-is. Basically all belongs and happens in right time at the right place, even that which appears devastating in the limited sight of the subject (human). Appearing fatalities only appear as natural consequence of limitation, which is, on the other hand, a natural part of the mind of all-that-is.

In this human fatality the sight of the general flow and range of a human mind / soul within the basic mind of all-that-is will temporarily disppear: the human subjects has simply lost a more general sight of mental movements. Thus separation appears, and from that fear, pain and suffer. The state of separation will not be acknowledge as illusion, but as reality. And by time the view is about to change: the fixed structure of such reality is fading thus revealing temporality and illusion. The subject is ready to see again unity instead of separation.

Yes, the human mind is incredible, amazing and uncomprehensible in its manifold. At the same time there appear fatalities and temporal black outs like walking in blindness, or, like in many religious images, in darkness. Again I ask you to read the little pamphlet by D. Alan Holmes, The Enlightment. The guy has found a way telling all I was mentioning in a way nobody could have done better.
