The gurus that I've looked through had to have two common qualities: (A) No History Or Claims Of Any Sexual Abuse From Followers (AND THIS ELIMINATED ABOUT HALF OF MY SAMPLE) and (B) A Proven Demonstration Of Some Form Of Charity Or Empathy Outside Their Mission. I am aware that some of these gurus eat or ate meat, but I could not add this in as a screening factor due to the fact that so many of the gurus researched were vegetarians AND also were sexual offenders AND frauds. I picked out these six due to their different lifestyles, their different ideologies, and all having a positive impact in some way on the lives of millions. THE THREE COMMON ASTROLOGY FACTORS NOTED WITH ALL SIX ARE: (1) all gurus listed have a "challenge" to their natal Neptune in some way (2) All gurus listed have either a Royal Star of Persia near a personal point (Sun, Moon, Nodes, Ascendant, Midheaven) OR a star near these personal points that offers a significant advantage in terms of making a good impression on others (3) a grand trine of some type in their natal chart that includes the personal points that were described in (2). Now onto the charts.

Paramahansa Yogananda

Yogonanda was born under the conjunction of Neptune and Pluto (10th House) in 1893, and both planets were in conjunction with the Royal Star of Persia star of Aldebaran (WOW). This conjunction (and the square to Chiron in the 1st House) presented a serious challenge to Neptune. Also note the Royal Star of Persia Regulus near the Moon and the Ascendant. And yes, the Grand Fire Trine of Moon, Jupiter, and Venus (circled in blue) adds a spark needed to get this airy Neptune/Pluto Conjunction going to seek a spiritual or metaphysical purpose to help others.

Swami Prabhupada

   Swami Prabhupada has no Royal Stars of Persia noted, but his Ascendant has fortunate Altair EXACTLY in Conjunction, and this Ascendant forms a Sesquiquadrate with his Pluto (which has fortunate Rigel almost exactly in Conjunction as well). His Neptune challenge involves the Moon Conjunction, Square to Venus, and a Quincunx to Uranus in the 10th House. Saturn Conjunction Midheaven (and Conjunction with the star Zuben ElGenubi) is a placement that will not tolerate any cheating or deviation from one's mission; Hitler and JFK (who both had Saturn near the Midheaven) found this out the hard way. Prabhupada reportedly never deviated from his mission and ran a clean religious movement while he managed the ISKCON movement. Unlike those who followed him in ISKCON management, Prabhupada never "fell from power" or was ever accused of mismanagement or fraud (which was so common with so many gurus, especially with accusations of financial thievery or sexual abuse). Swami Prabhupada has a Grand Air Trine made up of Chiron, North Node, and Moon/Neptune Conjunction.  

Dalai Lama XIV 

Sirius is one of the most significant stars that offers a good shot at fame and leadership, and the Dalai Lama has Sun Conjunction Sirius (with both near the Ascendant). Similar to Prabhupada, the Dalai Lama has a Neptune challenge with the Moon; another challenge of Neptune is an Opposition with Saturn in the 9th House. A Grand Water Trine of Sun, Jupiter, and Saturn is fairly strong. Also note that Venus is in Conjunction with the Royal Persian Star of Regulus (indicating powerful or noble types of friends or associates).

Mata Amritanandamayi

Mata Amritanandamayi has a Neptune challenge that involves a Conjunction with Saturn and Mercury in the 12th House, while Neptune is in Conjunction with the star of Spica ("The Fortunate One"). And yes, Neptune is also forming a hard Sqaure with Uranus in the 9th House. Jupiter is in Conjunction with the star of Polaris, and this is indicative of an important victory of some kind (usually military) along with the possibility of spiritual powers. The Grand Earth Trine is weak since the Sun is in Libra; the star of Dubhe is EXACTLY in conjunction with the Midheaven and is associated with people having psychic or astrology talent.

Maharaji Prem Rawat

Similar to Prabhupada, Maharaji Prem Rawat has a Neptune challenge with a Square to Venus (in the 4th House). The Moon is in Conjunction with the Midheaven, and both are in conjunction with the star of Castor ("sudden fame"). Jupiter is in Conjunction with Spica ("The Fortunate One"), and is near the Ascendant. The Grand Earth Trine of Pluto, Mercury, and the South Node may indicate that Maharaji Prem Rawat may be involved with some aspect of a past life that he may be trying to complete.

Tony Robbins

Tony Robbins is todays "new type of guru." I knew two attorneys who went to his sessions (and both were strict conservative Catholics) and both said they were impressed. They also said he used a lot of visual displays with a lot of bullets, and a lot of reading material. What impresses me with his chart is the 6th House Conjunction of Mercury with the South Node (and both in Conjunction with the fortunate star of Matar ("ambition and vanity")) while in Opposition with the North Node in the 12th House in Conjunction with the star of Alkaid ("death, war"). This indicates a "love for communicating to others about tragedy." But the most impressive feature is the leadership star of Sirius Conjunction Midheaven, and involved in a Grand Water Trine with the Sun and Neptune. And similar to Maharaji Prem Rawat and Prabhupada, Neptune's challenge is with a Square to Venus. Acrux Conjunction Neptune is associated with interest in metaphysical subjects, and the Sun Conjunction with the star of Skat is indicative of "good fortune and personal charm."
