When Society gives me shit about not acting like how girls should according to it's standards, I give Society the finger. When spiritual vibration nazis give me shit about not listening to higher vibrational music or acting in accordance with those vibes, I give them twice the finger.
They never saw my life, they never saw what I went through. I've been kicked when I was down, repeatedly. I've been possessed, haunted, messed with, brought to suicide very close so many times. I was the outsider in school, everyone thought I was weird. My family gave me hell, told me I wasn't 'Part of the family' and I was "just a boarder" to them. I've been homeless countless times, stolen, graffitied a church and a Priest's car. One organization who helped me find a place with two other house mates blamed me when one of them went batshit crazy, stole my stuff, trashed all my artwork, my guitar and the house then took off.
AND YOU KNOW WHAT? I CAME OUT OF OUT IT ALIVE AND HAPPY. Because after all that shit, I survived and I'm hell of a lot stronger than I ever was. I found my real self through all that and I'd never go back to change what happened. So when these spiritual nazis bitch at me for not listening to happy fluffy music I tell them to piss off. They have no right to. Heavy music is me. It's words, message and vibrations resonate with me because it's a reflection of what my life was like.
I can't listen to happy music and pretend to like it. You see I tried all that. I tried not being me. But you know what? You can't hide from yourself. It's probably the dumbest thing I ever tried to do. I might not act like a spiritual person but hell I've never been so happy when I finally let me be myself. You see we are all capable of both good and bad, light and dark. I don't like to polarize myself, that's just not me.
People don't understand that you can be balanced and still be a good person. I mean I might enjoy getting shitfaced with good friends while air guitaring to hardcore music but I don't go out and behave according to the vibrations of the music. I'll feed the local birds who lost their habitat, give up a seat on a bus for the elderly and tell off kids who are abusing an autistic kid.
You don't have to follow doctrines religiously and people (who have probably never even had a hard life themselves) telling you how to live spiritually according to whatever texts. You can still be yourself and ascend! OMG, WHO KNEW?! So what, the love and light vibes might give me the creeps, it doesn't mean I'm an evil person. And it doesn't disqualify me from the same opportunity to ascend. I'll talk my talk and walk my walk and live life by my own rules. This is what freedom is. I'm me, so who are you?
Never give in to other people's expectations. Just be yourself.
