December will bring the crumbling of old structures, beliefs, relationships, or anything that is no longer working toward your highest good. Any structures that you have in your lives that do not work for you anymore are going to crumble. They are not going to begin to crumble – the beginning occurred a long time ago. This month they are going to actually crumble.The crumbling will not necessarily cause mass devastation this month. It is likely to be most evident in your personal lives, and it may feel quite dramatic to some of you depending on how you choose to react.The emptiness is the energetic reflection of the fact that all of you, individually and collectively, are wiping the slate clean. You have been working hard to assess and understand what no longer works for you and what you need in order to sustain your forward movement. This month will bring a sense of a final letting go. Some of the behavioral patterns that you have struggled with all of your life, some of the relationships that you felt would never be resolved, and many issues you have faced time and again -- all of them are available to be reset this month.This clearing the slate and resetting will not occur through work. All of the work has already been done. This month the clearing of the slate will be accomplished through passively and graciously letting go. This is a great month to try to let go of control, and to let go of your expectations. It is an important time to acknowledge the other peoples truths, or to finally shrug and decide you will be okay either way, no matter what the situation may be.The energy of this month certainly does have an element of destruction and that emptiness can feel a lot like despair to some of you, but it does not need to feel like despair. The emptiness is also incredibly enlightening and incredibly refreshing if you are willing to let go. If you find yourself despairing this month, consider that you are holding onto something that no longer exists. You may be holding onto an illusion, an old hope or expectation, or an idea about what should happen. You may be holding onto an attachment to other people's behavior -- which is something you have never been able to control, even if you were very good at manipulating it.If you feel despair this month, look for what you are holding onto and find a way to let it go. Embrace a sense of emptiness this month. Empty yourself of ego, empty yourself of expectations or agendas and sit back and enjoy the show. Make room this month to connect with loved ones, to embrace the relationships that do work well, and to embrace the simple, beautiful perspective that comes when you operate from allowing -- allowing what is to be exactly what it is as opposed to trying. Work on allowing rather than trying this month.Are there any power days that we should be aware of this month?December 12 is kind of like a tethering point, a grounding point. December 12 for some of you will be a turning point. You will find a distinct opportunity on December 12 to make a decision to either hold on or let go. The thing that will serve you best this month is to let go. For others of you will find it is a really grounding day. It is a day that is just like the way a tether works when it is holding down a balloon or holding a boat in place. It is a point that keeps things in place, it holds them down so they do not float away or get out of control. You will be able to find a sense of reassurance. This is a great day to focus on those things that do work for you, to turn your time and attention toward those relationships and activities that do feed your soul, that do nurture you and help you feel as if you are your best possible self.Is there anything else the Keepers want to tell us about December of 2009?There is a sense of a collective inhalation this month, as if all of you are taking a breath in and pausing for a moment. You may find this month that there is a sense of insularity. People may become less open and more protective of their time, emotions, and other parts of their lives. You will see a lot of people feeling so overwhelmed that they cannot take in any more information, or feeling so overwhelmed that it is difficult for them to reach out and empathize with others.For each of you individually, do your best to release judgment and trust that people will be on their best behavior later. This month will be overwhelming for quite a few of you, particularly those of you who are not aware that this energy is coming. For those of you reading this message, you are likely to understand when you feel overwhelmed that you need to let go of something. Have patience and compassion for those around you who may not realize this, who will get so locked up in the battle to hold onto something that no longer works or even no longer exists, that they get really tired. They are going to draw into themselves.It may appear as if many people are more selfish this month than usual. Know that it is only because they have become insular. They have drawn into themselves in order to survive their own resistance. Rest assured that resistance will be forced to release in the coming year. Do not fight with people. Do not try to push them to understand things or do things that they are not ready to do. Trust that their own lives will lead them to their best selves later on. This is a great month for compassion and patience. You will be most successfully by being passive rather than active this month. Do not look for things to do. Look for reasons to sit back and watch events unfold through the eyes of Love.
