Mirreco has developed hemp panels for residential and commercial buildings. These panels can be 3D printed into walls and floors of buildings. The panels are carbon neutral therefore not increasing one's overall carbon footprint.

Mirreco claims the panels are superior to other building materials in that they are "structurally sound easy to produce and have superior thermal performance.” Windows in the homes will allow light to pass in a way that it's captured and used to power electricity. The project Milestone consists of 5 houses that will be ready for people to move in by next year. No word on whom will be inhabiting these houses and the cost of buying and maintaining the houses is perhaps a second thought due to the current environmental climate.
