FLEXIBILITY & MALLEABILITY "Greetings Dear Ones. We are the High Council of Orion. Today’s topic is one of flexibility, of malleability, for these qualities are ones that will be essential in the coming months and years as the world, as you know it, will shift and change on many levels.

The key here is to become comfortable with change, to be comfortable and flexible, malleable, as things that you would call your “knowns” on your planet and in your life, on all levels, shift and change. Being flexible, being malleable, allows you some opportunities to shift and change more easily and “go with the flow”, as you would say! As you shift and change with the new paradigms, with the new “knowns”, so to speak, you allow yourself a greater level of ease and a greater level of “response-ability”.

As many of you are aware the root or the parts of the word responsibility has to do with the ability to respond. So being flexible as you see your world changing around you, changes your response-ability so that you have a greater ability to respond and transform and change, which can allow you to be in a place of seeing greater options and looking to the future.

As time goes by and you see the world around to changing in many, many ways: on the planetary, geographic level, on the economic level, on the level of structures and organizations, and much more, the tendency is to want to have everything stay the way it always was.

For many of you have lived many lifetimes on this planet and you've lived many years in this lifetime and, of course, you would like it to be predictable! You would like to be able to know what the next 5 or 10 or 20 years would bring. This time in your planet isn't one for predictability. It's one about wholesale change.

That wholesale change is one that brings so much more in its future reality that we ask you to trust that the changes are good, even if in the moment they feel unsettling. One of the easiest ways to move through, to navigate, the changes is to become flexible, or malleable, allowing yourself to bend and move the way a tree bends and moves in the wind, the way water moves around rocks as it flows downstream.

That water flowing downstream doesn't stop at the rock and say “Oh my goodness! You're in my way. I was flowing before and now you're in my way!” It just moves around it! So that flowing, flexible, being-ness the way you are in your mind and in your emotions allow you to move the most successfully into the future.

Instead of hanging onto the way you “hope” things will always be, even in the face of the evidence that they're not, will not allow you the greatest peaceful transition. So being flexible and learning to embrace the change, or if change or something unsettled comes along, challenge yourself in that positive way to say “Well, maybe this is for a good idea.

A better idea! A new way. Maybe there's something more than I see right now. Maybe this is even better than it ever was before if I can allow myself to see and experience that.” Holding the possibility that the change will bring about more, better, and simply “good” as the change and transformation moves through, is the way that you stay most flexible. Your flexibility will look, on the outside, like a positive attitude: “Wow! Isn't he or she positive!

They look at the glass half full, instead of half empty!” Regardless of how it's perceived your knowingness that it will allow you the greatest ease in the transition, by not hanging on to paradigms that are crumbling, will make it all flow much better. Your confidence in your practice of the ease in the flow will assist those around you.

As there is less resistance to change in the people around you, it allows everyone to feel more supported and more comfortable. So perhaps now you can test out these new ideas of flexibility in your everyday life even if you have everything seemingly “normal”, stable and predictable now. What if somebody comes home with a different kind of coffee? Or somebody at work puts paper back in the wrong place?

Or your child suddenly ends up sick and you have to stay home from work and it's an important business day? How are you reacting to that in a moment? How you feeling about those things in the moment? Can you allow yourself the space to be flexible, malleable and flow downstream as the river flows easily around the rock?

It’s a good time to practice that when the stakes aren’t high, when the emotions aren't as high as they could be, and then if you run into circumstances that are bigger, harder, more challenging you’ve already practiced it in this time where change and transformation is not as big or as scary or as threatening in any way. If you need examples of this look at the models you have with the environmental and interpersonal stressors that have been in your news of late.

What if you were in a situation where you'd lost your home because of severe weather conditions? Or even if you didn't lose your home you were sitting in cold, unlit homes for days on end. How would you manage that? Could you navigate around that big rock as you flow down the river?

These are the times to practice that flexibility of thinking, of reacting, and of being. It is a great skill that can assist you in manifesting a life that is lived from greater central place of inner peace. Be Blessed.
