It actually looks like an artist's rendition, to tell you the truth. That was my first impression.
what is we are looking at the same events, and they are all equally true?
how about this, from the outside of the mars atmosphere might look pink, but looking with the eyes we have and from where we are looking at the moment we look at this photo it looked red.
I guess it's how is color made in vision, how does vibration work, what are the relative ratios to go from 1 sphere to another and retain your original perspective.
