  As an atheist, McKenna believed that if only the "right" humans were running the show, Man would flourish and achieve relative utopia. Unfortunately, there are no "right," "good," "wrong," or "bad" people. Our imperfection is a result of our failure to acknowledge our individual connection to the Creator, without which we are merely biological machines waiting for a certain end. Yahshua did not propagate a myth when he said he had come to bring eternal life, he carried the revelation of Truth that, apart from His Father, we are already dead.
