Yes, an impressive summary and clever academic.....His mention of the Falkland Islands being analogous to Crimea, was spot on....The parallel is exact and the people of the Falklands overwhelmingly supported (and still do) being linked to Great Britain, and similarly the Crimeans with Russia..
Of course, the western power blocks and their absurd double standards, are apparent to all of us, over here, too.....Most people in western countries consider the whole Kiev pusche event as ill-thought EU meddling and US machiavellian machinations, against legitimate Russian interests...
I was very pleased that the Crimean people were allowed to joined back with mother Russia.....The emotions they felt were so similar to the emotions felt by Falkland islanders in 1982...
