| Hello Dr.,
Warm weather, family time and the great outdoors – that’s summertime in the U.S. I forget how much I need this restorative time to relax and be with my family without distractions. We are in Idaho right now for a month and we are appreciating every moment. It’s important to take time each day to celebrate the love we have in our lives, and this month for me is all about my family.
We love walking along the creek and horseback riding as a way to reconnect with nature. There’s something so inviting about the fresh air, the smell of trees and the sound of rushing water through a flowing in a river. I hope you are taking time as well to get outdoors and enjoy the beauty of nature, no matter the season.
I also take time during my vacation to learn something new. I’ve heard from Dr. Christiane Northrup in her newest book, Goddesses Never Age, that learning keeps us young and our minds sharp. She’s a wonderful example of what staying young looks like and I do my best to follow her wise advice. Whether it’s a business book, an online video course, or an inspirational true story, I like to expand my knowledge and my understanding of people and concepts.
