As channeled by John SmallmanHumanity is continuing unfalteringly on its path to awakening. Many of you have a vision or intuitive image of your destination which helps you enormously because it gives you a point of focus, an aiming point, thus enabling you to strengthen your intent to keep moving forward. Your whole lives are a process of moving forward towards your divine destiny, which, up until the arrival of this New Age, was a process that was very frequently interrupted by distractions on the earth plane that drew you into confusion and conflict. These distractions, while still present, now have far less power to engage you, because you are now able to rise above them and from this new vantage point identify them for what they are.
The new energies which ushered in the New Age are affecting all on the planet. They are opening up a new sense of awareness that is replacing the once-blinding cloak of insensitivity within which most have been living, as they soldiered on through the daily struggles and problems with which the illusion presented them. They are now opening to the awareness that life can and should be a far better experience than most people are having. That awareness is building the necessary motivation within them to do something to change their lives, to make them more meaningful, to live them peacefully and harmoniously by making them lives of loving service, instead of states of enslavement ruled by circumstances over which they seemingly have no control.
The willingness to just do what the authority figures in their lives – governments, employers, religions, even friends and relatives, who have sought and often obtained unquestioning obedience from them – tell them to do is falling away, as they recognize and honor the right and responsibility to make their own decisions about how to live, and whether or not to obey orders or follow instructions from those who claim positions of authority over them.
You are all sovereign beings with the right and responsibility to live as you think fit, while honoring the life choices of others and taking care not to infringe on their inalienable freedoms. Thoughtlessly or fearfully giving away that authority, that power is irresponsible and dishonors you, and more and more of you are awakening into the awareness of this truth every day, and refusing to do it any longer. Everyone on Earth has the right to be heard, the right to have their needs or desires considered, and the right to take part in the discussions that this occasions. There are absolutely no exceptions to this God-given right, and humanity is finally coming to a full understanding of this.
It no longer behooves anyone to attempt to take that responsibility or right from another. If it appears that someone does not have the ability or competence to understand a situation adequately enough to exercise that right, it indicates very clearly indeed that the situation has not been properly explained. Those who would exercise authority are always, without exception, required to make clear their reasons for taking the actions that they intend to take, and if the reason for taking those actions cannot be made clear, or if they would dishonor or harm anyone, then they should not be taken.
The time for governing by decree, by force of arms, or by simply claiming to have the right to do so, and then taking action, is over. Every sentient being is a child of God with equal rights and responsibilities given at the moment of creation. These entitlements are its divine birthright and inheritance, which no other may either modify or remove. There are those who, due to inadequacies, injuries, or illnesses that their bodies are experiencing, are unable to support or take care of themselves, but this in no way gives another, or others, rights over them. The only right — and it is a solemn responsibility — is that of the disabled one to be lovingly cared for by those in a position to do so, bearing in mind at all times that the well-being of the disabled one is the only acceptable motivation for any action that may be taken.
The New Age is one in which you reclaim your freedom. You have never lost it, but it does seem that you temporarily mislaid it, and now is the time for you to find it and exercise it. You are divine sovereign beings, beloved of God, and He expects you to exercise the gifts with which He endowed you for the benefit of all. Now is the time for you all to move forwards in loving kindness, demonstrating clearly and constantly the wisdom and responsibility that your status as the beloved children of God requires of you. It is your role to fill, and doing so will bring joy beyond compare.
