This event violated two renaissance astrology rules regarding the Moon; the Moon is decreasing in light and is afflicted per semi-square formation with Saturn and Neptune. I also don't like this astrology event with the Moon Square Sun ("half-Moon") real-time transit increasing in strength and tension hours after this event (unless a big conflict is what Trump and Putin want and are expecting). Putin is at an advantage with these talks; Putin has Mars Sesquiquadrate Jupiter and Venus Conjunction Uranus for transits. This is shown below.
Trump will have the deceptive (and possibly health affecting) transit of Mars Conjunction Neptune the day of the event very strongly. But also note that Trump has Jupiter Square Chiron and Chiron Trine Mars for the event as well; Trump will have the edge as far as advanced technology goes and also per topics of advanced technology that may be discussed. Mars is well placed (as mentioned); the sextile aspect between Mars and Mercury offers "opportunities for debate and discussion in areas concerning the military and defense." Jupiter Conjunction Star of Sirius (near the Midheaven [Mc]) defines an important world event in international areas; international law is associated with Jupiter as well as international travel. The problem is the afflicted Moon (decreasing in light) at the time of the event; the fast moving Moon defines the Moon Square Sun transit will increase in strength and tension as the meeting goes on. And many in the U.S.A. (and other places) may not like the results of the meeting.
Conclusion
The Aug. 15th meeting between Trump and Putin in Alaska favors Putin, and the results of the meeting may bring forth minor tension in certain segments of certain populations. Technology capability may certainly be on the table with this meeting; this is a big advantage the U.S.A. has. It is unfortunate and unknown if this technology advantage will be used by Trump to modify any of Putin's expectations at this meeting, but this area is a huge advantage for Trump. This is not to say that "bringing a gun to a knife fight" is how to depict this meeting, but again the U.S. has a technology advantage under Trump and such an advantage may be used in the course of this meeting. And yes, we will never know what was really discussed at this meeting that we would like to really know.
