About Yourself

I'm a 21 year old Radiologic Technology student from Indiana. I enjoy writing poetry and short stories, and I'm a member of local and national poetry groups. One of my favorite things to do is meet people on the internet and talk to them about life, get to know them, and understand their perspectives and thoughts on various issues. My spiritual interests right now are to: 1. Know others and relate their experiences to my own. 2. To bridge the gap between my present state and my future state. 3. To experience and move onward. 4. To create beauty and happiness

Your Teachers and/or Spiritual Sources of Inspiration

Thomas Walsh is a big spiritual teacher of mine. He's a 26 year old from New York with a lot of life experiences and a great sense of what's what. I actually met him on a game website that neither of us play much anymore. He introduced me to the music of Yes, Dan Fogelberg, and the writings of Carl Jung. "Homeworld" by Yes is a fantastic song that I think captures something special in essence and message. Thomas emphasizes balance in his teachings, and explains paradoxes. He also introduced me to "The Thunder Perfect Mind": http://www.stoa.org/diotima/anthology/thunder.shtml a poem that has changed his life and perceptions of reality, and I understand more and more each time that I read it. My other spiritual source of inspiration right now and always is a being that I call Billy. I've called him that since I was 6 years old, and for a number of years believed that he was God. He isn't, but he's certainly someone very special and very knowledgeable. He has helped me with many things through the course of my life.
