Your Teachers and/or Spiritual Sources of Inspiration
I have had my thoughts and my own conversations as my teachings. I have found it very difficult to share with others, mainly because it has not only been a private journey, but my beliefs are what kept me hanging on to this life here because they were so strong. My Spiritual Inspiration last transpired around 8 years ago. After a particularly bad day, I found myself sitting on the floor, completely done. I was not only physically and mentally drained, for the first time ever, I felt spiritually drained. I remember sitting there, battered and bruised and I closed my eyes just for a moment. I saw an image in my mind of a silvery brilliant light, so tiny, so small, and I knew that that was me. Like me, it seemed to have shrunk inside, but it was there. The biggest leap of faith, with a breath of overcoming fears and believe me, great courage, I chose to trust what was inside and turned my life around; on the inside. I allowed that that always was inside to thrive. Not that I had suppressed it,.. life here on this earth had taken over, and I had built my life and relationships around it. 8 years on I have peace. I am evolving inside at an incredible pace and sometimes its not that it makes me feel afraid of the changes I feel, but it makes me feel lonely. Lonely because I live alone here on this Island with my daughter and my doggie, and I need to be able to evolve with my family and hopefully gain a Teacher who can help me to express my changing emotions into words.
