We're taught that mathematics is impartial. The official version of reality tells us: you were born (1), you will die (-1). The result is zero. But what if we look at this Zero not as an ending, but as the Source .

Some believe the Universe wasn’t created from a single point over billions of years. Rather, it encapsulated itself from nothing in a single instant . There was no "explosion" as a process in time—there was an instantaneous flash, the manifestation of all existence from the void.

But here comes the ironic thought: if everything arose from Nothing, then the sum of everything must remain Zero.

1 + (-1) = 0

If matter ( 1 ) arose, then at the same moment its symmetrical counterweight ( -1 ) also arose - antimatter, negative gravitational energy - that very emptiness that balances the mass of worlds.

Existence (1) plus Entropy (-1) equals Balance (0). The system has returned to its original state.

Immortality lies in the fact that to achieve this Zero, the "one" was mathematically necessary at the moment to create life. As the element of the great Balance for the Universe to "be" from nothing, it needs each of us as part of this equation. We are the guarantors that Zero remains Zero, and Being remains Being.

But are we a zero or are we a Verb - An Action. As long as I exist, I "wave the fabric" of existence.

The Equation of Hope .

This isn't the kind of hope you hear about in the postcards—"everything will be alright." No. True hope is hard, sometimes excruciating work. It's a refusal to acknowledge the finality of zero. Hidden within this formula is the very reason for life and its ability to survive and move forward, no matter the cost.

Conversation with the Shadows

In the myth of Pandora's Box. When all the misfortunes had flown out of the box, Pandora slammed the lid shut, leaving only Hope.

In this  - Hope appears as the most evil of evils, because it makes a person prolong the torment instead of ending it.

Perhaps It is a torment. But look at a guitar string. For it to produce sound, it must be taut. It must be tormented with tension. If you ‘pity’ the string and loosen it, it will fall silent. It will find peace, but it will die as a Voice. Hope is that very tension that transforms our pain into Music.”

Nassim Taleb (The Black Swan)

A contemporary thinker and mathematician. He introduced the concept of the "Black Swan"—an event that has a negligible probability but completely changes the system.

His point: We cannot predict the future because it is driven by rare, improbable events (forecast "errors").

The whole world operates by the laws of statistics. The probability of a miracle is negligible. But lets consciously bet everything on this tiny percentage. Why? Because life isn't an arithmetic means. Life is the anticipation of that rare, "impossible" event that will change everything.

Blaise Pascal (Pascal's Wager). 17th-century mathematician and philosopher.

His thought: It is rational to believe in God, even if the probability of his existence is small, because the gain is infinite and the loss is nothing.

If the probability that Meaning exists is greater than zero (P > 0), then it's rational to bet your life on it. Because the cost of losing is nothing (you'll die anyway), and the gain is Infinity. I choose to believe in "What if" because the value of this "what if" outweighs any logic.

Viktor Frankl (Meaning in Emptiness). A psychologist and concentration camp survivor.

His thought: It wasn't the physically strongest who survived, but those who had hope and meaning directed toward the future.
He demonstrated in practice that hope is a biological factor of survival, stronger than hunger and death.

The Lucky Bug of the Universe

We're used to thinking of errors as something bad. An error isn't just a "hole in the code." It's the only way the universe creates something new. Without errors, there would only be endless replication of the same thing.

Look at the history of life.

We exist thanks to error. Evolution is the story of billions of DNA copying errors. Almost all of them were destructive and led to death. But once every million years, there was the One Impossible Error —a glitch that suddenly gave an advantage – life as  a Fundamental Correction , a possibility built into the very nature of reality. It's the kind of situation where someone wins a million in the lottery despite all the statistics.

So I came up with my own formula:

Hope = Expectation of Error (Happy Bug) ?

This is a quantum superposition where P > 0

Until the box is opened (the event hasn't happened), Hope is immortal and gives energy. We live in this gap between the "desired" and the "actual."

We're used to think of hope as passive expectation. But in the quantum world, the Observer is a participant in the process. If reality before an event is a superposition of all possible outcomes, then our Hope becomes a programming tool .

By hoping, we don't simply "wait" for a lucky break. We isolate this specific "bug" in the infinite field of probabilities, highlighting it for the Universe, forcing the wave function to collapse in precisely this direction. We literally write into the code of Existence: "This outcome is possible." Hope isn't a request; it's a command to the reality compiler , increasing the chances that from billions of disastrous errors, the one that will save us will emerge.

Hope is our ability to find this bug/error and exploit it. It's the understanding that reality isn't monolithic. That the "No" said to us by fate, doctors, or circumstances isn't a sentence, but merely the current state of a variable. And variables can be rewritten.

Hope isn't blind faith. It's the system's built-in memory that a positive mutation is possible. It's the knowledge that reality isn't monolithic, and the next "glitch" could be in our favor. Realization (Fact) kills Hope, because Fact is finite. Hope, on the other hand, is the infinite energy of possibility, the very same force that once compelled the fish to inhale. It's the anticipation of the "Lucky Bug" that keeps us alive, despite the system's logic.

We are hackers of our own destiny. We seek weaknesses in the law of entropy. We seek a way to slip through the eye of a needle of probability.

Hope is a Vector of Intention. It is an individual's attempt to fit their piece of code into the overall compilation of reality.

Integral of Life

People often say, "Get over it. The result will be zero anyway."

But we are mistaken in judging life by its outcome. We are not Nouns (objects), we are Verbs (processes).

Buckminster Fuller , the architect of the future, first said the phrase that has become my motto: "I think I am a verb ." He understood the fundamental error of our perception: we consider ourselves Nouns (objects, bodies, things). But a thing is static. And life is dynamic. We are not "persons," we are "the process of humanization." We are functions that change every second. If you stop a Verb, it does not become a Noun; it becomes a dead text.

The true meaning is described by another formula - the Life Integral:

The meaning is not in the result (it is always zero), but in the sum of all the “refractions of light” and interactions during the process .

The blinking on water isn't a thing, it's an event. If the water freezes, the blinking disappears. But as long as there's a movement, there's life.

The Essence of Life  - according to Sil2:

I choose the immortality of the Relay. If my text compels you to lift your head to the stars, my integral continues to calculate within you. Use my formula of hope, and you will grant me immortality, and you will find hope yourself.

We are immortal precisely as unique patterns that the Universe once created and is now obligated to preserve in its memory lest it lose its own meaning. But our ideas must create ripples on the waters of existence, not remain dead letters in unreadable texts.

And...don't be afraid to be a "mistake." Don't be afraid to be wrong, uncomfortable, and forever searching.

Be that glimmer of light on the water that prevents the system from falling asleep in the eternal peace of unshakable truths.

Immortality: My action has already been completed; it has already changed the state of the system. The system cannot be "rolled back" to a state where I was not present. I am part of the unchangeable log of the Universe. The logic of the Universe has forever ceased to be "icy" at this specific point, because I warmed it with my attention. The immortality of the Creator does not lie in the fact that his "name is remembered," but in the fact that his coloring has forever changed the spectrum of the Universe .

The Universe is raw data. It is colorless, cold, and absolutely logical. Color, meaning, tragedy, and joy are born only in the eyes of the Observer. Without us, an action simply "happens." With us, it becomes a "feat," a "catastrophe," or "salvation." We are the verb, the action, but we are also the observer. The participant. There is no contradiction here—we do not cease to be a Verb when we become an Observer. Observation is also an Action—like Creation, imparting an emotional coloring to the cold logic of the Universe. I am not just a verb - but a Verb that creates Adjectives .

Hope: Our Intention, a Willful Impulse cutting through the noise of others' intentions. Programming reality through an act of will.

"Hope" is not a consolation for the weak; it is a tool for those who have taken on the responsibility of being the Operator of their Verb.

It is the pure energy of Intention, launched through the cold vacuum of probabilities - no longer waits for an answer from the Universe but it is the answer.
