I do drumming when my mind gets negative or chaotic from outside influences. I just keep at it until I feel cleared out. I had a great experience connecting to my land while drumming a few months ago. My new property was very "injured" when we decided to purchase it( bulldozed to rock-rubble over half an acre where there had been a garden and old house-Gasp!) and I planted and planted and planted for a year until it felt alive and looked pretty to me.It went from feeling dry hot and barren to a mini orchard,raised beds and lots of flowers,herbs and clover! I was drumming like crazy one day last summer because I felt upset and hurt by some people. After 15 minutes or so,a deep loving feeling came pouring into me from the direction of my yard and I "Knew"-in my Awareness(no doubt whatsoever) it was my Property!!! I was so amazed the land came right in to my head-space and gave me a big bunch of love. A totally unexpected gift from my drumming. All I expected was a bit of calming therapy! giggle! So I thought this group would enjoy my little story!
