........about couple of decades ago a friend gifted me with a book written by Edmond Bordeaux Szekely , founding father of International Biogenic Society , called Essene Gospel of Peace(available to read on the net ). At that time I was searching for something new in my life and this happened, which changed my life forever. That book "spoke" to me ; it was like reading living words that projected holographic reality for me. After that , I went on the search for "truth". Read, propably few 1,000's of books on various subjects, spend 3 yrs with Essene minister, met many more too along the way.

.................Enoch is not Metatron, most likely , by similarity and careful research , he was that famous heretic Egiptian Pharoh Akhunaton...........It's a logical guess..............

and they were vegetarian raw foodists eating only uncooked vegetables, raw fruits, raw milk and cheeses, sprouts, sun baked breads, a lot of water and fasted on every saturday or their 7th day. they were called healer for good reason 'couse every experienced member of community or communities were capable of healing all sicknesses and death.

they were highly regarded by those around them for good reason.............

their sole purpose of exsistence of perfectness  in the yrs of last century of BC and first yrs of AD of our era , was to "...prepare a way for new teacher coming ~jesus~......

Now, to answer your questions, well to give you some info what I believe on the topic of Essenes, Enoch and teacher of rightiousness :

The word Essene is taken from ancient arameic language , spoken by the hebrews meaning healer/holy men( my spelling might be wrong here but assiya ) and greek language essenoi which also means healer/holy men.Enoch( that same famous patriarch of bible who was taken up to the heaven to meet the heavenly Father ) is considered father figure and founding father of the order which got it's start by the help of heretic pharoh of Egipt by the name Akhunaton( and his wife nefretete and their son/sucsessor Tutakhamen ).

In the Dead See Scrolls manuscripts and their Gospels of Peace, teacher of Rightiousness is never mentioned by his name but his peculiar similarity with biblical jesus( greek word for son of zeus~Je-sus ) is unquestionable . Edmound Bordoux Szekely's translations and publications of The Gospels of Peace clearly and rightfully name jesus as the one; there are many more publications today that agree with this. There are also such archeologic findings as Nag Hamadi Library ( found in the middle of Egipt's desert in 1949 ) that confirm such speculations , although mixed with slight twist of hipothetical assumptions and logical guesses when you read it.

There's also something else that dead Sea Scrolls give hint, as the bible, that "the rightious teacher didn't die on the cross, rather it was that murderer also known as Yeshua the Zelot.

In few next centuries , during that famous Council of Nicea something very significant happened which we know from their records, that Bishops , clad in white garments ( clear indication to essene brothers ) walked out of that council in protest over official version of first biblical writers; the lie about life and supposed crucifiction of this man.
