Dream Interpretation

Hi Gailene,
I have had some experience in dream work as a depth psychologist.
I found your dream very interesting because of images that I have encountered before in myself and others.
Several of the images you presented may have an archetypal base.(like the golden brown skin, wave - like headed, golden eyed, father/son human/alien beings) Some images seem to carry meanings that are not archetypal but very personal … meaning that they may be emotion laden and have values unique to your own psyche ( like “with a country and/or transport trucking business - like in outback Australia ????”)
And some images held both archetypal and personal values (like your family and your interactions with them).

Let me break part of this down …
There are several types of dreams … to name a few … prophetic (what will come to be) … compensatory (dreams we have when certain psychological forces - such as anxiety, depression, euphoria, confusion or a combination there of - are out of balance and our psyche creates images to bring them back into balance) … reflective (our psyche making sense of our conscious OR unconscious experience) … projective (images subliminal brought to the dream state - triggered usually by empathic or cognitive elements) … or any combination of the above.
There are of course other dream states and in certain communities these are renamed, re-cataloged, and redefined.
For instance some religious communities suggest that dreams are divine interjectives. (who am I to say different) Certain psychological schools say that all dreams come from our psychological/neurological function (claiming that nightmares may come from such things as “a bit of undigested beef.” - thank you Mr. Dickens)
By no rational do I claim this is the exclusive way to interpret dreams. But I do claim an empirical bias … I have used it and it works.
A theorem I have found useful is whether they are prophetic, compensatory, reflective, or projective the images perceived in our dream states come from our individual psyches or our collective psyches. And dream images are personal, archetypal, (or a combination) and hold symbolic as well as literal value.

Your request; “Can anyone identify my contact beings??”, can be answered but only you will be able to determine if the interpretation is valid or has relative meaning.
Let us start with the prominent archetypal image … golden brown skin, wave - like headed, golden eyed, father/son human/alien beings.
This image is quite a common one in many dreams; that of the “golden child”. Even though your psyche has made this archetypal figure adult like the connection of father/son it is often seen as part of the “golden child” motif. The golden child archetype usually conveys a divine symbolic interpretation but also usually one of divine promise not yet matured. As the image is of an adult we are seeing some spiritual development (such as a spiritual quality like forgiveness) which has matured and manifest itself And as there are women and children within this “family” we are talking about the divine feminine and areas of spiritual growth still to mature. With “his head or scull was - oh looked liked ripples” we are talking of common symbolic dream representation of thought. The ripple is possibly subliminal interpretation of “brain waves.” And combined with the golden eyed image seems to reflect the possibility of your having a spiritual focus … either a “looking in” at your own spirit maturing or a “new look outward” such as relationship with family which also seems to be both archetypal and personal.

Images such as “large sheds and big metal doors” usually symbolize psychological containers of emotion, memory, or unexpressed thought. The fact that they are vague and closed is important and may be related in combination with “something to do with a country and/or transport trucking business - like in outback Australia ???…” and your desire or anxiety of opening those “sheds” and finding what resides there in.
If the dream comes again think of opening those sheds.
It might be worth your time to reflect on your emotions and thoughts with that “outback Australian trucking business.”
Part of that refection should be with the awareness that our psyche carries both the good and the “shadow.” It also bears reflection that the meaning of “psyche” also can be interpreted as “soul.”

Your dream has many more nuances than what I have expressed here; especially the coming and going of people you do not know, interactions with “beautiful golden brown, red color - lizard type - but not lizard “ and his family, your reflection of the dream being positive, and the fact of your blinking which almost universally means an archetypal shifting of perspective), and the fact of your remembering this dream with different levels of recall.

Again if I have crossed any boundaries I apologize. Dreams are very personal (sometimes even sacred) and others “walking on them or through them” may be cause for offense.

Often our subconscious or unconscious allows or creates images which are unique and value laden. GreenEyes projection of a mother archetype (usually a figure of nurturing and loving structure) and the flying saucer image (which the mother archetype validates - "everyone knows they are here.") may have an interpretation of harmony within the collective psych of GreenEyes in her goals and aspirations.
I am not sure how far it is appropriate for me to go in individual dream interpretation ... GreenEyes please excuse me if I have violated any boundaries.
The fuzziness, greys, choking, and fear all have their own values and roots ... Mostly it is a call to bring things to the surface to share and explore ... issues that are uncomfortable or possibly even subliminal ...

I had a dream that a shining blue ray light was shining on me. What does that mean? That was all i saw.

i was flying again last night, but this time with somebody. we both ascend straight upwards, and gradually decrease it speeds... and stopped, and descending towards the earth . it was a smooth landing.

hello

I would like to share to you that i had a dream that i was flying through the
clouds, and enjoying the view of the earth.

this dreams occured several times in one week. i would go to bed, and
and experience this wonderfully flying all over. sometimes i would drop my
speed and able to pick it up gradually and continue flying.
this dream only occured for a week. then it stoped.

since then, i always sometimes i could dream that flying again.

Depth psychology lends itself to an understanding of dreams as projections of archetype which are often reflected in cultural mythologies. As a trained therapist dream work has been a very helpful tool in helping others.
I am very interested in the groups dreams and the interpretations of the dreamer and the audience,

Which is the dream? Now or then? We must treat every moment as a dream, and herein lies the true power of faith. Faith is what is keeping us anchored on this physical existance, why not elsewhere as well?
