Hello my friend, yes that is the Himalayas,We are not to far from them, we are on the banks of the river Kosi,a beautiful crystal clear river full of Mahseer fish,I just wish locals were naturally more conscieous about polution, ie plastic bags and bottles,Also I truely worry about the loss of the royal Bengal Tiger, which is truely on the brink of extingtion and I believe it is a vital part to India's national heretige, an ikon,what India's politicians need to realise is that it's up to them, now, to save their forests and wildlife, unless something radical is done I'm sad to say, there WILL be no more tigers left in the wilds of India in 20yrs time, due to poaching and human encroachment even into the buffer zones, short of evacuating the tigers (whats left of them,) I don't know,I dispair at times, perhaps 'Tiger Sanctuaries' ???any way love and light hugs Belinda I hope some one high up in ASHTAR will step in and help us....
