Her ego becomes her.  She is no longer one and never will be until she can let go of the "I" in her self.  Are you willing to make this change,this change of no identity.  When theres anxiety boiling up within the soul don't let it destroy the moment you are existing in.  understand this is a character taking life way to seriously.  The ego is not in charge you are!
