“Dream fall”

By: Steve Gerard Galang Castro

I woke up this morning from a dream that I had,
A dream that I thought I would never have,
To be with my friends we’re ready to walk,
A walk to embrace what’s beyond

As time passes by autumn leaves would fall,
Like moments that last and stay on the ground,
Fallen leaves would resemble the past,
and memories would fly

In the sky,
We live like the winds that passes by,
Like a weather we’d thought would come,
But the flow of the winds,
Flows below the Sun above

Oh how I praise thee rays above,
The morning dawn I would be blessed by thee,
God’s promise to all

And all

Moonlight Embrace

Moonlight embraceBy: Steve CastroShining moonlight so dim yet so bright, how wondrous are the heavens above and so it be as the stars above. Clouds cleave your shining moonlight, how untimely that I may only see you for just moments of my life. Sing to me of your grace so that I may hear you once more, let me feel your luminous frailty oh divine beauty my heart felt majestic. I gaze above oh heavens I dream of you, I see the heavens with limitless glory, light and darkness... such endless transformation... Embrace the Sun's rays as dawn arises, you are the queen of night sky and dusk, show us thy children of heavens above, transitions which may be perceived through the external gazer's eyes. Illuminarium ever changing thou secrets of life everlasting, dawn and dusk evermore.

Gnostic Reflection

By: Steve CastroWalking in the field one day to reflect, and contemplate what has time taught me to protect.Walking to the very last hours of morning, and see the Sun's rays of ever dawning.I look at the blue sky to see heaven, and look at the blooming roses of Eden.Hearing the wind gently blowing the trees,Enjoying the soothing flow of the breeze. In the midst I sit down and meditate,to remember everything and contemplate,And that I could look within to teach,Knowing that the Universe is out of reach.Seeing the beautiful Universe as a macrocosm,Knowing that your body is a beautiful microcosm.

The External Gazer

Who are you? What if I was not the person you thought I was, the very person you came to know into your life? One day I looked at the mirror and I said, "This is me but who am I?" I perceived myself as who I am. I looked once again and into my eyes, around it was a shell and in it something was missing. I could not understand what it means nor do I know why was it that way. I looked further to find out what could I see. I found a dark but almost completely hollow space. There was only one spot from which light entered through a hole in which everything outside is seen. That night I slept, I dreamed of myself being the eye of the beholder. I find myself looking at things from which the beholder experienced through wondering many moments. In time, I came to see wider from which at first it looked so small. The beholder felt pain and perhaps almost partly with happiness. The world I saw was like a placed where suffering was common because the other beholders themselves were entangled with many physical things outside and around them and started looking at things superficially and then ego erupted. Moments made the beholder learn many things that made part of the beholder separate with its body like two beings but one. Every moment spent filled part of the shell within the beholder. The physical didn't look as much anymore as it dissolved into no more than an object from which it could only be perceived. Even the beholder seemed no more than an object. I found myself the eye, only instrumental and nothing more.I woke up that morning and I looked at myself into the mirror and I said "I am within the external gazer but I am not the shell I see...."
