The notion of revelation has long been passed to your society through many means as a sense of mysticism where in with the God of the ages is united to the Self, and I say this, with compassion, when it is brought up, "God of the ages", for God, is re-defined, in terms that are capable, and in relationship to, societal standards of the definition of Highest Concept.But being a Mystic means more than just connecting to the societal definition of God as it is expressed through written form, it is through the relationship of the Eternal Self, in the Cosmic Dream, that one comes to understand that "escapism" is by far the least aspect of the Mystic.Escapism has been taught, in the physical form, and when I use the word escapism, I speak of the striving to destroy the body for the sake of the soul, this discounts the experience of the body, and is the primum modus operandi behind the functioning of an Egotist mind, for an Egotistic mind feels separate from God, and looks at the reflection of the body as a means of saying, "I am not God", the mystic, through the humility of acceptance, and flowing with the world in Her own Creation, sees that this Body is but one temple among many, many seats for the same throne...
