Majority of the people on earth are still unaware of the changes taking place around them. Many feel that life is just the same as it was a decade ago. On the other hand many sensitive souls have been awakening more and more to these changes on the higher spiritual levels. More of such people talk about opening up to newer awareness, of communing with the devic / angellic realms, of receiving greater inner guidance form their higher selves and messages of love received from beings and Masters in the higher dimensions.
So why such disparity?

By keeping the attention on spirit, the senses become starved from lack of stimulation. It is hard to keep our attention on spirit as our senses enjoy stimulation. Our body becomes the enjoyer, as we, in turn, become identified with the body. Our ignorance is in thinking that the senses give more pleasure than the spirit.

In the weeks that followed, my life outwardly remained the same, but inwardly was transformed to the most gentle, sweet and balanced state of consciousness I had ever experienced. My body continued to perform all that was necessary, butmy mind became a tool used by me only when needed. It was not senselessly directing me. Who was that "me"? It was not a personal self, but rather, the "me" was more an impersonal "it." The word consciousness now evoked a feeling of endearment as it took a new meaning.

About a week back, whilst on a retreat; a few of us stepped out on an excursion to a nearby hill overlooking our little retreat, in monsoon-green Igatpuri. The cloudy sky teased only with the lightest showers now and then. The idyllic surroundings were soul cleansing and pleasing to the eye.
We climbed the hill at leisure. I found myself attracted to the rocky parts of the mountain. Every now and then I picked up the stones and felt their energy.
At one point a few of us were seated on some rocks, conversing about things, when it began to drizzle, prompting everyone to make their way down. I continued sitting and felt drawn inwards. So I closed my eyes and effortlessly interiorized. An inner voice spoke, which I found myself an audience to.

An Ascended Master’s message said that unless we confront and overcome our fears we will not be able to vibrate high enough to meet the standards of the coming Golden Age. From two other sources I learned that these fears being 3rd dimensional in nature must be left behind or overcome for any inner progress to take place. They cannot be carried along into the new age. They further advised that all those seeking Ascension during this shift must resort to introspection and then root out any fear based issues within us. This cannot be stressed enough!

Post 21st Dec 2012, many have sought understanding of what truly happened. The plethora of information given out by too many channelers and mediums in regards to what will happen on Dec 21st - apocalypses, illuminati, pole shifts, UFO landings etc; has now left people confused and disappointed. Many have labeled 2012 to be yet another hoax. I have received comments like ‘I was expecting so and so, but am disappointed nothing happened.’ It is noteworthy how the word expectation is often followed by the word disappointment. So what really did happen on Dec 21st?
