since there seems to be something wrong with the replies (some of them just seem to disappear or are just empty), here's a trick that worked yesterday and made it possible to, well, reply^^ (on windows PC, at least)

Write your reply.

Mark everything you have written [CNTRL + a].

Copy everything you have written [CNTRL + c].

Send your reply.

If it is empty, use the edit-button.

Paste what you have written [CNTRL + v]

Send again.

That worked fine yesterday. Maybe this helps you, until whatever causes this is fixed.
