ELEVENTH CHILD

Dedicated to Ean Michael Shane Denham, born 9/11/2012

Eleven years ago
this nation died,
mothers, fathers, children
cried; away
was taken its high born
global station.
Fear feeders paved the way
to bigger chains,
to deeper holes, to a
Freedom now banned,
from lack of discerning.
Explosions grew,
and, deadly, spread around
to other shores,
as pointed poison sank
into our pores.
But then, who knew?
Who knew? In truth it must
be said, none but
a few; those who had planned,
those drawn to light,
and some with heightened sight.
If only We
could clearly, purely see
the birds-eye view
of true totality,
our hearts would change,
and in our acts would be
a Wisdom keen,
as has not heretofore
been seen. And yet,
perhaps today it is
that Ean's birth
will help to fuel Our climb
into the heights
for healing us and earth.
For he and they,
the others born today,
must take the passed
baton, and run,
and run, and run, into
a newborn world
and brand new rising sun.
