About Yourself

I am a person who has long sought enlightenment of certain sorts. I have always been a "new age" minded person while growing up. When I was 17 I was diagnosed with leukemia, and I was on treatments for that for nearly 4 years. In that time, I really began to look more inward toward reflecting on myself and what I needed to feel emotionally, spiritually, and physically satisfied. I have studied mystic philosophies of all kinds, from Wicca, old witchcraft, hermeticism, various "occult" labels, various forms of shamanism, astrology, geomancy, goetic sorcery, yoga, and many many others. I have a particular fondness for stones and collect the special ones that feel good to me to hold, regardless of how they look.

Your Teachers and/or Spiritual Sources of Inspiration

As a child I spent much of my time at Native American pow-wows and gathered a great spiritual bond with nature in inspiration from that. Growing up one of my best friends came from a family who was all pagan. Our small group of friends and I shared in interest in this and under the guidance of her grandmother learned a lot about the "new age" world. I have been friends with the local New Age shop owner since my sophomore year of high school. Since then I have learned a lot of valuable information through our friend ship and in our talks when I stop by the shop or send a hello online. and many more!
