  Those are my feet in there, reflecting the past that needs forgiveness, love and understanding. And a message of guidance for the future. And most of all love for myself... I have 1 pic of myself when I was little that I think epitomises who I am in essence. I was only able to make peace with her and attempt to start loving her recently. Up until last year October I still could not do that. This is a poem I wrote about that struggle:

  For now
  I avoid making i-contact with myself
  And this shadow walks in front of me.
  
  She looks back in understanding
  and waits for me patiently
  To make the mistakes I make.
  
  She has in plain sight my fears
  And this shadow walks in front of me.
  
  She looks back and smiles
  and waits for me...patiently
  To get up after a stumble, a fall.
  
  For now
  I avoid making i-contact with myself
  As she looks back in hurt.
  
  She waits for me patiently
  to forgive myself
  She waits for me patiently.
  
  Patiently...
  
  For one day
  When I will return her smile.

  Heart Prints

  Whatever our hands touch...
  we leave fingerprints on.
  On walls, on furniture, on door knobs, dishes and books.

  As we touch we leave our identity..
  Oh please where ever I go today...
  help me leave heart prints.

  Heart prints of compassion,
  understanding and love.
  Heart prints of kindness and genuine concern.

  May my heart touch a lonely neighbour...
  or a runaway daughter...
  or an anxious mother...
  or perhaps a dear friend!

  I shall go out today...
  to leave heart prints...
  and if some one should say...

  Hello David!!!  Thank you so much for my awesome butterfly pics - I really like them as well as the encouragement to express ourselves and live authentically in order to experience freedom.  So much has happened this past week which has shaken and stirred my world! I feel very much like one of those Christmas globes with little snowflakes inside of them...  I have received a good shake-up; scattering much of pretty much everything.  Well, now I naturally settle (trusting into authenticity)- each constituent part taking up a new position until the next shake-up brings about new changes!  Thank you also for the friend request, I have responded!  Have a good day.
