Hey David, I've seen you on the Internet on other sites - you sure do seem to get around, either that, or we share the same interests.
Hey! Flash! I saw you on the Spiritual Dating Site, Also read your profile and see that you are a horse whisperer! (Was just thinking about horses!) I LOVE horses!
be careful what you offer. i may take you up on it. lol i have been trying to figure out how to send you a picture of hunter. oh well. i'll work on it.
it is an honor to call you friend. thank you for the add.
i have often thought that many of the skills required for working with animals would be effective with any living creature (including humans). so, how is that going for you?
right now i am trying to figure out how to help indigo children in school. they are such complex little creatures and traditional methods do not work. one of my son's is an indigo, and if he and i survive until he turns 18, i will consider my job a success. lol
that sounds great david. hunter is a companion, not a slave, so one of the hold ups has been finding someone in the rural south that knows the parrelli- or lyons-type techniques. he is rediculously smart. the ground work took only a couple of hours and he knew the drill for turning and stopping. in fact, it became difficult to get him to run. he figured out that all he had to do was turn and face me and the running was done. so then it became, step-step-turn. lol
actually, it seems like it will really be more of an issue of him teaching me. we are going to start this week since the heat and humidity has given us a bit of a break. would you mind if i picked your brain from time to time?
welcome david. so, how does one "retire" from whispering to horses? i have a 7 year old polish-egyptian arabian who i hope to someday be able to ride. i started the ground work myself, but really wanted someone to start the saddle work with him for me. i just don't "bounce" like i used to in my 20s.
i love new mexico. i knew i would, even before my first visit. it truely is "the land of enchantment." i look forward to getting to know you. in lak'ech
