I'm working on my undergraduate studies. I've been interested in spiritual things most of my life. Had several encounters with beings I consider of Angelic origin.
Your Teachers and/or Spiritual Sources of Inspiration
I have not had actual spiritual teacher other than attended churches with my family. Do not get out much on Sundays while in class I tend to sleep in. I have come here hoping to find spiritual teachings. I'm also a student the ancient Jewish Kabballa and have studied some in the Zohar. I wear the red string of the Kabbalists that has been wrapped around Rachel's tomb seven days and blessed by an Israeli High Priest. I'm a Christian Kabbalist and I respect all religions and belief systems. I have some Jewish blood through my Grandmother's Grandmother that came from the old country. I would say, if I had a spiritual teacher it would be my Grandmother that has directed my spiritual development most of my life. She taught me to respect all religions as all of us are children of God and we should love each other. I've grown up with the belief that all are basically good with exception of a few, and we should do unto others as we would want them to do unto us. My Grandmother has been the greatest influence in my life and the life of her other Grandchildren and has taught us to forgive, send blessing for cursing and ignore the ignorant ones that try to trample on those that are forgiving. I'm a serious student of the Bible, planning to be in full time Christian service when I finish my education either in music or as a missionary. If I teach the principles of the Christ that I have learned through the years from my Grandmother I will do much to help bring world peace to a trouble world which is my desire and dream.

Yes, that is my real picture standing there. Regards to your analysis, it is close to be right on. but every so often I get pissed and slip up, writing thoughts that are true, but harmful. So we all learn no matter how far we progress it seems.
About three years ago I was out of body during meditation. This was during an attack from a small government group plus being in great pain from a knee replacement. I cannot tolerate pain killers, so bones are sawed off and all the rest without any relief from pain. So I was at an end, wanting out of life.
The second out of body I met a guide, a beautiful woman, floating above me. Her words were simple and left me wondering what I should do. She told me, "I have shown you the way and am free to go, or go on, and if you show another the way, you will be free to go as well".
