The Personal Journey Begins

 Brothers/Sisters,

I have been studying the UFO Phenom since the early 80's. I have even seen a craft on a beautiful cloudless day through a pair of binoculars and saw the craft disappear as I was focused in on it. Only recently have I been focused on my Spirituality and the search for my true self. I can not remember how I found this wonderful web site and all it's beautiful   people. I suppose I was "guided" here in some way.

I had an experience early a.m. before I retired to bed. I will tell of it and how I perceived it's meaning. If anyone has a comment or even a correction in my thinking, please, don't hold any punches.

I was up till around 1:30 a.m. in my studies and viewing things from this site. I was growing tired and was considering going to bed. To the left of my computer desk is a window which has a knitted type curtain. In other words, it is not solid and can be seen through. At this time I saw a bright light in the upper left corner of the window. It startled me so much so, I could feel the hair stand up on my arms. A sense of fear had hit me instantly. I know this is bad, for I have nothing to fear and am usually a pretty laid back fellow.

Never-the-less, I rose from my chair and went to the window pulling back the curtain. To my dismay, I realized that what I saw was only the reflection of a standing lamp that sits about 10 feet from me on the right sight of my desk. Of course my chill vanished instantly and I felt ashamed. I mean really, am I going to be contacted so soon? No, and I now knew that I was not yet ready.

So, I take off my glasses and walked to the other side of the house toward the bedroom. I am in what I call my "confy clothes" shorts, t-shirt and socks. I have to pass the back door to get to our bedroom. As I came to the back door, I had this sudden urge to walk outside and look at the sky. Not sure why, but it was almost as if I was being "pushed" out the door. Whatever it was, it would not let me go to bed until I went outside.

I live in Waco, Texas. Just a mile from Baylor University. The night sky here has that city light haze and even on the clearest nights the stars are not as vivid as it would be out in the country. I have a large yard, an acre with a gravel driveway and many tall pecan trees, so for me to get a good view of the sky I needed to walk to the back portion of the yard.

In doing this, I have to walk across my gravel driveway. The really odd thing is, I'm still in my socks. As I walked across the gravel I noticed it was very soft, almost spongy. I even caught myself looking down to make sure I was not on grass. This part of the experience I have not figured out.

I found a good place to view the sky. Last night was overcast, city haze and without my glasses, the stars that I could see were of course "blurry". Because of the city haze I could see the clouds with about 70% visibility. There was one particular place in the sky that seemed to have had a rectangular area cut out of the clouds. So I was focused on this area where I could see three stars.

Standing there I gazed at this area for about 30 seconds. At this time I saw a shooting star go from right to left (east to west) and the only time I saw it was inside this rectangular box. The odd thing is it appeared to be rising a bit instead of falling. It flew by quickly but I did observe that it was much brighter and much clearer than the stars behind it. So, not knowing for sure, just took it as a falling star.

After this, I instantly felt at peace. I took this as a sign of some kind saying "it's o.k, you are on your way". I turned to go back inside and found myself once again looking at the ground wondering why the gravel felt so soft, almost carpet like. Any insight on that?

I just wanted to share this for in my own way it felt important and "good". I hope I did not bore you to tears. LOL

Love and Light
