Hi fellow Ashtar Command-ers, I am new to posting here even though I have been following and reading many discussions that take place on here. I first wanna say that I love this site and reading the debates that take place here, especially recently. I think it is all very interesting as there are a lot of people displaying different sides to many issues and different perspectives. 

Ive read a lot of spiritual websites and forums and a similar debate seems to take place on all of them, the subject of channeling and whether or not it is legitimate. My perferred method of reading these debates is to quietly read them and never offer my own opinion, but I think I want to offer my opinion on this issue of channeling which has garnered so much debate on so many different sites. 

I think first it can be said that most people who read channeled messages are using discernment and do know better then to fall for a clearly fake message or messenger, but my fear is in the minority of people who do read messages that are false and do not realize so. Also in my opinion which is worth mentioning, I don't feel that all ET or otherwise channelings are fake but as always some of them are. My fear lies in the people who fall for messages that arent genuine, but even with that issue everybody is on their own path and will find the source eventually, so maybe we should not be too fearful of those possibilities. 

I think the genuine channelings are the ones that are not dropping dates or events, or otherwise getting peoples hopes up to be let down. I think any messages that contain 'landing' dates or otherwise are at least a little distorted perhaps by the ego structure of the channeler, but the messages that help us learn to ascend and that actually inform us and for me, many channelings that make my third eye pulse when I read them, I think those channelings are real. 

Since a channeling cannot technically be proven to be real, those methods of bringing ascended spirits through and channelers themselves seem to take a lot of flack. I think the most important thing to remember is that we have everything we need to ascend inside of ourselves, in our souls. We dont need a channeling to ascend, but the guidance is there for us to accept or not accept. If channeling turns out to be proven not to be real, I will still be grateful for the messages that have helped me to ascend and learn lessons as even if those messages didn't come from somebody ascended, they still came from a place of value and still have helped me many times with my ascension. 

Without looking inside myself and making the journey to ascend, I would think channelings were worthless as they only serve surface needs of learning lessons, the rest is our work and is for us to do. I would say: be thankful for those channelings that have helped you, and look inside yourself for the rest. Doing such, there is not really a need to battle with another over whether a message is real or not, as only your inner self will know whether the help offered resonates and will be of service to your ascension. Honestly, in my opinion that is all that matters. Everything else is ego surface issues.
