  One of the most difficult claims to understand is that a country can owe itself more money than is available in that country! Where did the money loaned come from? Then I have noted that when something is hard to understand, someone is often trying to sell a whopper! At one point, you are told that country A owe country B some trillions. Then you are told that similarly, country B owe country A the same amount of trillions! So you might think it is fine. They can just cancel. But then you are told that default is very dangerous! These two countries must pay each other or else, their economies will collapse!
  
  So I was following Nancy Pelosi. I get the insinuation that according to elites in US, it is irresponsible to keep borrowing and it is also irresponsible not to borrow! Then there are some who think that the debt can keep on rising forever. This requires infinite money from where the loan comes. Then they say there is nothing to worry sinse they can simply print notes and pay the loans. You wonder why they did not do just that, instead of taking the loans!
  
  Why dont they just stop taking loans, if at some point, there will be no more money to borrow? They seem to be merely postponing a disater! When you close exermine you find that both Japan and US etc must be having too many businesses that rely on the government as the customer. They made the blunder of relying on a bankrupt, loan begging machine as the sole customer!

  The US government taking loans to pay for other loans is even more daunting sinse they take the loans from the same bank: FED!! Can I borrow you to pay you?? Finally the climax of the ubsurdity is that the money thus borrowed are just printed out!
  
  But they say the such printed money needs to be paid back so they be destroyed and so prevent inflation. This technique is called 'fractional reserve banking'. But as you can see, taking such loans to pay the loans means that FED has to destroy the earlier printed money (pay back loan) by printing other money of the same amount (taking new loan)! So they realy haven't destroyed the money.they have just swapped old notes with new ones! Of course this cannot be everting inflation!

  Im in, too! What you guys are bringing up is precisely what I have been researching for that past week. There is a growing movement towards such ends and it is about damn time. However, what I have found to be most disturbing is this, about the time I think I have learned enough about what IS, along comes more information that takes me farther down the rabbit hole. I get weary some times and feel like enough is enough, but something that was buried deep within me has awoken and it wil not allow me to turn my head. INDEED! The question for all of us is, what are we doing or what can we do to be of service, to help others awaken, etc? Slowly, my path is becoming clear... I am curious how others are approaching these times and what they are doing?
