  The earth is spaceship in the sense that it is moving around milky way centre, and it is also moving together with the milky way. As it moves, it may also enter 'other dimensions' or 'portals' such as the one they unconruosly call it 'photon belt'.

  So some other person has also thought about this! He has done the maths and shows that the sun has enough gravity to power itself!
  
  But I don't think exactly this way. I think the sun's gravity is so huge that every moment, cosmic, sub-sub atomic particles are whizzing towards the sun at formidable speeds. This kinetic energy is converted to the sunlight you see, just like the way light comes when you hit a hard surface to cause friction.
  
  This explains inverse temperature gradient of the sun's corona, a thermodynamic impossibility in the standard model! If energy is comming from the interior, why is it hotter the more we move away from the sun, and even colder when we move just beneath the surface??

  It is possible that the sun is powered by gravity. Gravity may be caused by a stream of particles that flows to the centers of objects and then move to 'another dimension'. So objects are also portals to other 'dimensions'. So gravity is like electricity and sun is like a bulb.
  
  Hydrogen bomb may be due to neutrons from fusion igniting more fision, and not due to more energy from fusion itself.
  
  So if we eliminate these two mainstream explanations, the research of fusion energy is based on almost no evidence that such energy exists! Our overconfidence that we understand the sun has led us astray! But there are evidences that we donnot yet understand the secret of the sun's energy source.
  
  That fusion energy may not be there at all explain why every attempt to produce it leads to more input energy than output. The output energy may be just the stored energy we inputted, and not inherent energy in hydrogen.

  It can be true as a law that in a nuclear fussion, the energy inputted to it is always greater than the energy output. This also means that the sun is powered externally as is evidenced by the puzzling reverse temperature gradient of sun's corona.

  Cold fusion is the most interesting of all. I have also Google searched and found Thiago Olson, a teenager who made a laptop sized fusion reactor!!! So do you now believe me when I say smaller versions can be done???? I never knew of this when I said, I just reasoned.
  
  However, as usual, more energy was inputted than outputted! Isn't it reasonably for the physicists to have worked with this laptop sized, studying why it isn't producing enough, try to improve on it till it produce more energy than inputted before building giant ones? I mean if fusion, including possibly cold fusion, seems to consistently produce lesser energy than inputted, might this be so as a matter of some law of physics that they don't know of it yet? The problem is, this people are not doing SCIENCE. They are doing ENGINEERING!
  
  Think about this remembering that fusion energy was realy never observed, like in fision. It was THEORIZED, from the famous equation E=mc^2! It is quite possible that the 'mass loss' as we combine helium to hydrogen is realy never converted to energy at all!

  Also read the electric universe guys explain to you the problem with nuclear fussion research. The physicists over rely on mathematical models (magnetohydrodynamics ) rather than empirically observed properties of plasma. These mathematical models are said not to always agree with experiments. So the scientists working in fussion neaded experiments, not to engineer devices based on purely mathematical understanding of plasma! The experiments neaded to be done in smaller, laboratory plasma, and then watch how they scale up.

  Please also read 'internal Confinement Fusion' where they try to confine just 10 miligrams of plasma using lasers rather than magnetic field lines. So we can work with very tiny plasma to test the science first before we build giant, actual devices. The totamack guys, unlike the laser guys, made the blunder of building giant version before they tried smaller versions!
