Your Native Land

God said:
You like to think that you are independent. You may be feisty. You may be many things, yet independent is not one of them. When everyone is connected, you are interdependent just as in a fire brigade, the pails of water are passed on. In a sense, you, personally, don’t really exist. You are far more than a pair of arms that pass on the pail of water, yet you are part of an extraordinary interdependence.

And the world at large depends upon you.

I am reminded of a long-ago story where a little boy spun so fast, he turned into butter. This story can be seen as a metaphor of your enlightenment. Unlike the little boy, you seek your enlightenment, and you would hasten it. At the same time, you are innocent. You have no idea that enlightenment means the ending of a monarchy. One is not one. One is One. The importance of differences and individuality disappear. Individuality doesn’t linger. Oneness is far greater than individuality. Individuality has a wonderful flavor, yet it is Oneness that is forever more. You are milk churning into butter. Life churns you.

Once upon a time, you lived in a little dot on a map. Now you are the circumference of the world and beyond. No longer are you a dot on a map. You are the map! You are the totality of the map. No longer are you a little dot anywhere. You are not lost in enlightenment. You are found. You are not even found. You are the blazing sun. You always were. Only now you see yourself in new light. You begin to see as I do see. You have a different view. It is not even a view. It is Truth. Now you see beyond perception.

Perception is more like a magic trick. You open a box that is enclosed. Beyond perception, you come to Truth. All that you have held onto is illusion. Truth you don’t have to hold onto. It is before you, and it is yours.

Now it is like you have graduated high school. High school seems so confined. We are speaking now of freedom. Your life on Earth may look the same as it used to look, yet it sings a different tune, and it sings in a Silence very dear to you, almost impossibly dear to you. Your Self is dearer to you than the wayward person you thought you were. You were almost like a predator in the sense that you were hunting for something more.

Now you have become a Giver. You are a Giver of Light. You are a Door-Opener. Vistas lie before you. Vast Horizons lie before you, and yet the Vast Horizons are close to your heart, not far at all. In fact, you are the Vast Horizons. They are the Fullness of you. In your travels on Earth, you have expedited Oneness. This is the path you have always been on although you knew it not. And now you know. Eureka! Now you know.

From your searches outside the parameters of yourself, you find your Self. Your Self was never in hiding, yet you have had to discover your Self for yourself.

Some day it may seem to you that your Self was handed to you on a golden platter. I hand it to you, and you accept it. You say:

“Yes, thank You, God, I accept what You give me. I serve the Light of God and discover that I am the Light of God and the Light of the World. I shine Your Light, God. I accept my role as an Accepter rather than a Taker. And so I become a Giver. It is as if I am in a new world that had picked me up and carried me somewhere. How can this be that I am granted Heaven when I am not yet free of all my selfishness and all my nonsense?”

Beloveds, how can you not accept the boons that I offer you from the palm of My hand? I have been offering you Enlightenment for a long time. It’s just now that you have begun to lift up your eyes. Beloveds, you come from Heaven. Now, while still within a body, you return to your Native Land.
