Hi everyone, firstly I apologise for not knowing really how to fully use and utilise Facebook.
But I’ll do my best until someone can give me some training!!
Up until 5-7 days ago (what day is it today btw), I was “Mr.Regular Average Joe”. Then everything changed. I saw the devastation the fires had cruelly inflicted on our precious native animals- the survivors without a voice who have lost everything. Their families, their home, their food- their entire everything.
I decided in that very instant not to be a silent observer of this unfolding tragedy and that I would throw everything I could at this to make a difference and not sit idle and watch events unfold on the 75” flatscreen reporting the fire event 24/7 for weeks. I immediately connected with Southern Highlands Wildlife Food Co-operative, Animal Rescue Cooperative, and Shoalhaven Bat Clinic and Sanctuary and mobilised everything I had- my determination, energy, will power, time and money to “make a difference”.... that’s always been my mantra in life “ to make a difference”.
After 5 -7 days of crazy long days, thousands of km up and down NSW and thousands upon thousands of my own money here’s my summary.
It is life and death today for our starving surviving native wildlife!!! It is blatantly obvious that if we; the truly empathetic, caring and heart broken people of the world leave this mass starvation event to others to act on, especially the bureaucrats, the red tape brigade and the establishment, tens of millions of our surviving native wildlife will starve to death because of inaction by the vast majority of our population. All the while, good willed volunteers of our global community are being tied up in red tape and bureaucracy that seems to encircle the monumental effort that these individuals, wildlife care/ rescue groups are making to feed these poor starving animals who survived and are now totally reliant upon us, citizens of the world to feed and provide water to them in order to sustain their lives.
Decide in this very instant as you read this to not be a silent spectator, make a promise to our poor native animals that you will be their voice and that you do indeed hear their desperate calls for YOUR help. Please act TODAY- do not delay!!
Please email, message, ring your State Premier, State and Federal members of Parliament, your local Members of Parliament, the Prime Minister- the whole bloody lot of the bureaucracy and red tape army that runs our country and DEMAND ACTION TODAY to ensure we give the survivors the best chance possible of avoiding death by starvation.
Pledge TODAY to refuse to sit idle and watch on as this disaster of international significance unfolds before our crying eyes.
FOR EVERYONE THAT CANNOT ACTIVELY ASSIST- DO NOT IGNORE THIS, IT IS REAL , IT IS HAPPENING AND WE ARE THE ANIMALS ONLY HOPE IN A HOPELESS SITUATION!!!
Please use the below as a template and spread the word today both in Australia and overseas. Overseas people, please alter to suit your local political system and scream loud and hard for Australia’s starving unique native animals that we all love.
The Honorable Premier Daniel Andrews,
Our native wildlife are starving right now, right this very second in every fire affected area in your state of Victoria and all other states of fire ravaged Australia.
I implore you with my total heart and conviction to seek an immediate declaration by the Federal Government of Australia of a National Disaster facing our native wildlife species and invoke extraordinary powers of Federal and Defence assets to deal with this crisis of life and death for the silent millions of animals currently starving at this very moment in our National Parks, State Forests and Crown Lands. Demand the immediate assistance of the RAAF in order to start mass food drops to the starving native animals who survived the fire storm that has obliterated their home. We as empathetic humans are their only lifeline to survival.
Make the phone call today, and request the immediate help of the Australian RAAF assets fleet to start mass food drops to these desperate animals. You need to take this on board and do it immediately, TODAY; there’s a fleet of aircraft sitting fairly idle at RAAF base Richmond NSW that can be and should be immediately doing this TODAY; not tomorrow, not next week, not next month... cut through the red tape and bureaucracy that is encircling this mass starvation event and just make it happen.
Tens of thousands of regular Australians are taking up the cause head on and volunteering their time, energy and resources to prevent this catastrophe from claiming millions more innocent native animals lives.
I call on you as the elected Premier of Victoria to do this one act that will save countless lives of our suffering silent victims of the fire storm-our precious native animals.
Marcus St Vincent
**Please alter to suit and share it immediately and implore every person on Mother Earth no matter where they are to do the same in their respective countries TODAY.
If the global TRIBE does not act on this mass starvation event today animals affected that have no voice will starve TOMORROW!
