LAST YEAR, AMAZON PAID ALMOSt NO TAX IN MANY COUNTRIES....PLEASE SIGN BELOW

SIGNS AND

Last year, Amazon paid almost no tax in many countries thanks to loopholes that allow large companies pocketing billions of dollars should go to our schools, hospitals, etc. But now some European leaders are backing a revolutionary plan: take away Internet giants just part of the trillions they earn to give to people like Robin Hood. Add your name to make sure this plan fly at a key summit meeting in a few days - then we will take the rest of the world!

Dear members Avaaz:

Online sales portal Amazon had revenues of nearly 200 billion dollars last year - but in many countries paid almost zero taxes. ZERO!

Internet giants are using tax loopholes to pocket billions of dollars should go to our schools, hospitals and other public services. We pay our taxes - why do they not?

Europe is about to adopt a revolutionary law that would force them to do just that - taking from the Internet giants just part of the trillions they earn to give to people like Robin Hood. But these giant companies are fighting because they know that, if passed this law would extend to the rest of the world.

We will demonstrate to key governments that are tired of this injustice - Avaaz will deliver our call in several European capitals before the vote to take place in just a few days:

Click here for the tech giants pay like everyone else

It's not just a company, or a rich CEO. Eight men now have it as much wealth as half the world. Poverty has declined and many countries have experienced significant growth in its economy, but wealth is increasingly concentrated in the hands of a few incredibly wealthy.

This plan would not change that quickly, but it's a step in the right direction. The idea is that companies "digital services" (such as Amazon, Apple, Google, etc.) start paying very low taxes in the country where they earn their income, instead of letting your profits distributed by various tax havens.

It's not about demonizing successful companies. It is building a global economy that works for everyone, not just for company directors, and prevent thousands and thousands of millions of dollars that should rightly be paid to the Treasury and used for education, health pocketing and infrastructure used to deliver their products. In addition, unlike Robin Hood, this is not stealing - it's just change the law to make things a little more fair.

If this bill is approved Robin Hood, will be followed by others. That's why the Internet giants are doing everything possible to stop it. But if we deliver our message in key capitals before a major summit to be held in a few days, experts say that could tip the scales in our favor.Suma your name as:

Click here for the tech giants pay like everyone else
This should involve an unprecedented change in the way the world works, a clear sign that the status quo is changing and that will not let the rich get richer impossibly long. All we need is that the laws that we apply to you and me - pay our taxes! - work well for them. That's how the world should go - so as always, we will fight for it.

With hope,

Danny, Christoph, Antonia, Mike and the whole Avaaz team

Amazon is SLAVE LABOR.  They work you for 12 hours and the employees are afraid to take breaks.  (I'm surprised they don't have suicide nets there)/

Yes, it's deliberate of course, to increase the divide, which strengthens polarity rather than unity consciousness.

I note New Zealand has changed its laws recently to ensure multinationals pay taxes...actually, their current Prime Minister came in on that platform. Australia has yet to follow suit, the govt here is still allowing tax loopholes/the use of shell companies/tax havens etc, although this issue is much higher in public awareness than it used to be (when it was covert), which is the first step before positive change to bring 'unity consciousness' into corporate taxation.

We'll get there. Love and blessings, Joanna. <3

Thank you Joanna for signing the petition...I know this to be a fact...A lot of this people with so much money can buy anybody...They should be paying a higher amount since they have so much money, yet they end up paying less than middle of low income people...This is only one reason why the rich get richer...and the poor get poorer...Blessings
