vegetarianism can save the world

The best way you can contribute to the betterment of planet upon which we live is to eat a lot less meat. Vegetarianism could be your key to saving the world.

Humans create great havoc by virtue of our aggression. You are what you eat and when you eat animals subsequent to their execution you absorb their fear. Fear makes us fight. Vegetarians are more inclined to be peaceful.

Vegetables are also healthier for humans. The industrialised way we make our meat creates direct…

emotional intelligence . crucial for communist dictators and lightworkers alike

According to the South China Post the Chinese President Xi Jinping and I agree that it takes Emotional Intelligence (EI) to be a good communist oligarch. Taking that a step further I’d say that EI is crucial to being a good anything!

Emotional intelligence is a stronger indictor for happiness and success than intellect. If Intellect is a sharp sword, EI is the discernment and skill to wield it well. Indeed intellect without EI can be the cause of great damage and…

THE THREE WISE KINGS.of rock, reggae, and soul

To honour Christ it’s timely to tell a tale of three wise kings. I’m not talking about the mystical Magi. It’s the Kings of Rock, Reggae and Soul whose song of praise I’ll sing.

The King of Rock is Elvis Presley. He had the voice of an angel with a heart and soul to match. His generosity is legend, giving greatly to large lists of charities and individuals.

Elvis had a lot of cash to cast about and he handed it out in proportionally vast amounts. In addition to…

trauma and stress accumulation....PTSD....all we warriers face this risk

Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) happens to soldiers including Major Generals like John Cantwell. It also happens to people who aren’t soldiers and suggests a damaging psychological dynamic that’s relevant to us all.

Now retired, Cantwell served in the 1991 Gulf war, then again in Iraq following the 2003 invasion, then finally as commander of Aussie troops in Afghanistan.

His story includes a litany of horrors. He helped kill of thousands of Iraqi soldiers by burying them…

KINDNESS is selfish and sensible!

The most powerful thing you can do for yourself is to embrace an intention to be kind. Kindness is very much to your advantage.

The most immediate advantage in acts of kindness is that the target of your kindness will feel happier. The opportunity for you is that you are what you surround yourself with. When there’s happiness afoot it washes over you too.

Furthermore kindness is contagious; it naturally gathers its own momentum. Each act of kindness inspires…

animal Vs vegetable..DO YOU THINK FOR YOURSELF? goat Vs lamb

You’ve been told many things are facts when in fact they’re merely opinions inviting obedience. It’s crucial you think for yourself lest you live like a lamb before slaughter.

Instead of swallowing discourses whole try behaving like a four year old asking “why” interminably. Pose questions to everyone including the range of “experts”.

When you’re offered an answer seek to see the contradictions and exceptions to the rule you’ve heard decreed. Never accept any…

Vampires really exist, indeed they’re very common. You need to know how to protect yourself.

Recognising them is the first requirement and that begins with tuning into your physical symptoms. Some people bring a pleasant lightness to your life. However when energy vampires attach, you’ll feel exhausted, tight chested or stressed in some way instead.

These vampires come in many forms of which the following are the frequent few.

There’s the Victim Vamp who suffers…

mens liberation

"All men are bastards", is a cliché that isn’t true and it isn’t useful. If uttered however, mostly women will cheerfully agree and men themselves rarely offer a defence.

Though less commonly said the useful truth is all men are wholly delightful humans deserving of love and respect.  It is the cultural construction of masculinity that will ideally evolve.

Perhaps part of the reason for the presence of such resentment is that males are statistically speaking…

this is how to do a protest!!

a bit contrived in the sence that it muist have been practised and put up

but nethertheless her statement is brave articulate and powerful

humans are amazing when we act with courage and honesty

the heart of we humans shine...the shame of the soldiers proves they too experience this highest awareness and feel the dissonance between their true loving self and their cruel actions

tour de france riders create LOVE

The best thing about the Tour De France bike race is that it creates a lot of Love.

With an estimated 15 million viewers spread across the world it has the largest audience of any annual sports event. That’s a lot of positive love vibrations!

We love the display of superhuman strength and stamina, the excitement and drama of the complicated strategies and tactics, and we really love the romantic beauty of the French countryside. We also love the high minded humanity of the…

That humans vibrate at different rates has transcended the hippy realm to become part of our common idiom. We all know the difference between good or bad vibes! But what exactly does it mean?

In a physical context the difference in vibratory rates is easy to see. Water when it’s frozen is ice. It’s solid and still. At a medium rate of vibration water is liquid and will flow down to fill any hollow. When it’s vibrating at a high rate it becomes steam that can move and transform…

I know I’m not alone in finding quite a few people somewhere between mildly annoying and utterly infuriating. If you experience this negativity too I have a bitter pill for us to swallow. We are the problem!

Our reaction to other people reveals more useful information about us than about them. When we experience a person negatively it’s a reflection of some darkness in ourselves.

Our negative judgements about other people could be said to stem from our egos…

This short “essay” was inspired by some of the people on this site. There are a few of them but credit where credits due… I’m thinking of feather winger and star particularly :)

I’m basically thinking that as we approach others with a respectful interest, an endeavour to understand where they are coming from… to see the best in them…refusing to add to insult or conflict ….interested fundamentally in learning, sharing and giving….we are meeting our goals of…

time travel experience !?!?

Time travel ?!?!

I’ll tell you a story if you take the Time to image with me.

I regularly visit with the souls that remain intertwined with the land and its mutual dreaming.

I walk my dogs along the beach and up to the top of the Barrenjoey isthmus at palm beach Sydney. Have done near daily for near twenty years. I tend to go there at dawn and dusk since that’s the best time and the anti-dog rangers are as yet out or have gone…

facing madness amongst ourAC community

Im involved professionally with mental health

My professional identity is a vast, vast, vast distance from the mainstream!!!!!

I see a number of posts on AC that indicate the presence of madness !

I am concerned about this and believe we can improve our assistance to these people !

There is very clear suicidality regularly being expressed

There is also delusions being lived through big time!!!!

Im going to try to define…

What do you do with a fearful situation over which you feel you have little control? Such as if a very large lion was to sidle up close to you.

If such a thing occurred it would be unwise to be aggressive. Yelling would raise its interest and ire thus encouraging an undesirable interaction. Attacking it would be suicidal; an immediate invitation to meal where you’re a member of the menu!

Another common inclination is to run away but this wouldn’t work well.…

The Dalai Lama said, “The world will be saved by the Western woman”. He’s referencing in part the fact that a new feminism is on the rise.

This new feminism power stands on the shoulders of the achievements made by woman over the past century.

The first wave of feminism fought for political identity. They forced the world to recognise females as humans rather than objects or commodities. They changed laws, but more importantly they shifted culture such that…
