Cornelius- Thank you for your thoughts and I appreciate hearing back from you. The human mind is a very busy place and until it is somewhat quited it can only hear the mostly worry thoughts and that is what meditation can help with, to quiet the worry thoughts. If you close your eyes for just a few seconds you will see how busy the mind is. So when you feel ready the right form of meditation will come your way that you feel comfortable with. And after some more training, you'll find that you're also able to aqquire this state of consciousness even when fully "awake" as well. :)

Let me give you some ideas about 'going within'. If we close are eyes and sit quite for a minute or so, we find our mind is a very busy place. The mind is busy thinking of all kinds of worry thoughts and of course happy hopeful things. Going 'within', the goal, is to quiet the mind and just to listen to shall we say 'higher thoughts'. One can practice with just minutes a day, to stop and close the eyes and just sit with a quiet attitude and don't fight the many thoughts, just practice letting all those thoughts come and go and with practice in time the mind will quiet more and more and then the 'within' will find deeper information either in just feeling calmer or even messages from the higher Consciousness which is the goal. This is done with patience but it can be done. Just sit several times a day with eyes closed and see yourself learning. KOR-
