Thanks for the warm welcome!
South Africa is a country much like any other, with a tumultuous past.
We have fantastic weather in most of the country, with warm winters & hot summers.
The scenery is extremely diverse with forests, grasslands, Savannahs, wetlands, beaches (with cold water and warm water), mountains and everything in between, so sending any photo would certainly not send you a picture of SA.
We are classified as a third world country, however, we do have first world infrastructure, bar the many potholes in the roads...
The population is very diverse, with 11 official languages, abundant political parties and many cultures, which makes us wonderfully cosmopolitan.
We live on the northern outskirts of Johannesburg, we like to call it the country, as we prefer the solitude and quiet. We do travel around the country as well as to neighbouring Mocambique a number of times a year.
Google photos of South Africa & Mocambique, you will not be disappointed...
