At 20:15 on the 19/10/09 I was returning from barton community stores in my vehicle when whilst on road I noticed a bright orange glow about the size of a football a few kilometers in the distance, its course of direction was S.E flying N.W, firstly at the time approx 20:09, at first I was attracted by the odd orange glow and dismissed it as a Chinese lantern, then I noticed two lights either side of the orange glow, bright white lights, I then dismissed it as a police helicopter, it was only then when I turned into my road and parked up my van that whilst entering my garden I heard a whirling sound, I looked up and couldn’t believe what I was seeing, I seen a large craft which looked like a huge fighter jet, silently passing effortlessly a few hundred feet above my head, the underside of the craft seemed to reflect the colours red and blue but looked at times translucent & misty, it was Huge, I ran immediately to get my daughter who also witnessed the rear side a few hundred meters away as it flew distance, on the rear it had what appeared to be four white bright lights flashing in sequence, completely silent other than this distinctive whirling sound. Has anyone else witnessed this in Torquay? surely? If by miracle no one has seen it then does anyone have any idea or possible explanation for what I seen.
