Your Teachers and/or Spiritual Sources of Inspiration

I would have to say it was Christ that inspired me somehow. Started with a thought then seconds later another spoke it. Strange I thought. I was an unbeliever and half angry. My brother was murdered when I was 16, I was now 27 years old but hung on to his bible. Going home from work I opened it to ch.10 in the book of John (he had a page marked), I read the book and thought I'd finish it for him. It was like the book came alive and I seen Christ as a man with a great spirit. A warrior. A gentleman. A man unlike any man, I was kind of in awe. I believed, not sure why but I did. Closing the book I put my heart on it and asked "Lord open this book to something that I need " I opened it to a psalm that spoke of meditation. I was confused but curious and said well I've never done it before so You must help me. But I believed and that was the main thing. Four days in and I'm believing, it was strange for me. Constant thinking about Christ. I understood the body in 4 days. The evening of the 4th day I had two huge experiences and several years of experiences until it faded for a few years and now I'm back. But I feel different now, like the energy is different or maybe it's my thoughts lol. Anyway The Lord is my inspiration and my teacher is how I've looked at it.
