About Councils in the Known Universe

Council of 9 (High Council/The White Council/Council of Light)

Usually have odd numbers of Elders sitting on the council, but it can be even depending on current events and situation.  Can have indeterminate amount of Elders, has been 11 in the past, now have 9.  May be 10 in the future.  Usually have odd amount of members to make for easy voting.

Council of 5 (Low Council/The Black Council/Council of Darkness)

Usually have odd numbers of Elders sitting on the council seat, never have even number of members, always have less than 6 members to control situation.

The Grey Council

Have indeterminate amount of members, usually have the most amount of seats for Elders.  They are the neutrals or undecided.

Council of 3

The council in support of the sitting member in the Council of 13

Council of 13

The ruling council, has representative of each race as sitting member in the Known Universe, they discuss what needs to be done, and what will happen for their own colonies and planets.

There may be more councils, I do not know about, but these are some of the major ones.

Meditation Technique

1. Devoid yourself of all your senses e.g. do not hear, do not smell, do not feel touch on your skins and other places, do not taste, and do not see

2. you should now be quiet within yourself, remember this feeling

3. Turn on all your senses again e.g hear all you can hear, smell all you can smell, feel all that your parts come in contact with, taste all you can, and see all around you.

4. you should now be in a state of total awareness, remember this feeling

5. Combine the two feelings, you should now be at one, within and without.

Focusing Technique

1.  Gather up your will and mind power and form a sword with it.

2.  If you are new at this, the sword will writhe around, and is hard to hold

3.  Try to tame it, if failing, the secret is to sheath that blade.

4.  Sheath it in your heart, your will is now yours and you should know how to focus greatly.

Clearing the Mind Technique 1

1.  within your mind there are voices telling you what to do, critiquing yourself, it is your inner voice, you don't need that.

2.  Gather them all up into a ball and fling it at the wall as hard as you can and make it splatter on the wall.

3.  The voice should now be gone, and you are clear headed once more.

4.  Repeat with the voice of others. e.g. what people have said about you.

Clearing the Mind Technique 2.

1.  Imagine a sphere of Light

2.  Keep staring at it

3.  There exist only the sphere of Light

4.  Eventually it will disappear as well, and now you are clear headed.

Greater Sense

1. If you can see what is present, then by logic you can train to see what the space that is in between reality.

2. This is hard to do but it can be done, with practice just use power of deduction while practicing

3.  This can be done with all your senses eventually you can sense what is "not" there.

Ritual for Ascension

Chant these words:

I am the King of the Heaven

I live to rule it

I am loved by my subject.

I rule over all Four Quadrants of the Kingdom

I stand over the Four Virtues of Peace

North, South, West, and East.

Black Tortoise, Vermillion Phoenix, White Tiger, and Azure Dragon.

(insert what Black Tortoise means to you), (insert what Vermillion Phoenix means to you), (insert what White Tiger means to you), and (insert what Azure Dragon means to you). e.g. Discipline, Grace, Courage, and Power.

Together the four quadrant support me.

The centerpiece.

Earth

The Golden Dragon

(Insert what Golden Dragon means to you) e.g. Enlightenment

Together with my subject we enter Heaven

Together with my subject we are at Peace

I bear the weight of the Four Responsibilities to attain Peace.

I serve all four pillars of the Heaven.

I love the Four Generals of Heaven.

I live to serve the Kingdom

I am the servant of Heaven.

As above, so below

I am the highest, and the lowest

To rule is to serve

With these words I ascend into the Kingdom of Heaven

And Peace shall descend upon me.

There are four quadrants in the kingdom of heaven, north, south, west, east - Tortoise, Phoenix, Tiger, and Dragon.

Each quadrant represent the pillars of heaven.  Heaven represents peace - inner and outer.

Each of these pillars support a centerpiece, this is you, the golden dragon.

To achieve this peace, one must satisfy the four pillars needs - pillars being virtues, in order to achieve the centerpiece.

For me Tortoise = Discipline, Phoenix = Grace, Tiger = Courage, Dragon = Power and Golden Dragon = Enlightenment

There are no greater pillars, all equal one another in Strength.

For if any is stronger than the other then you would be off balance and you would not be at peace.

To rule over these virtues is to come to term with yourself, and with others around you.

So for me by ruling over the four virtues of discipline, grace, courage, and power can I achieve enlightenment and thus is at peace.

Channeling the Ashetarii

Hail people of Earth,

We of the Ashetarii comes in peace, we travel far and wide as part of an expedition to seek life forms and catalogue their existence.  It was then that we found you.  We have been here on and off for many hundreds of years, and in that time we have shared many of our technologies among the elite of your society.

We seek to understand you, and we wish for you to understand us, we only come back now to help in the evacuation of Earth due to recent Earth Changes.  We do not mean any harm, in fact we are here as peacekeepers for the many other lifeforms that are already here and they number in the thousands.

In fact there is an accord to all those sentient lifeforms that we must not harm unless it is allowed by the lifeforms for them to be harmed.  It is rights given to all across the galaxy in as such most of us has become vegetarians.

You must be aware that these Earth Changes will bring about many disasters, some of which could drive a man.woman insane due to magnetic field disruptions, others will equate in many deaths due to fire erupting from the ground, big waves hitting the shores and earth shaking from the plates shifting and hitting one another.  As a result we seek to evacuate those who will come with us, if you do not wish to, that is also your right but we would rather you come with us, for we do not wish for there to be a disappearance of such a rich culture such as Earth has to provide.

We thank you for your attention, we will keep watching in case any more disaster comes to fruition.

Yours Sincerely,

Commander AS'Far'el'i of the Ashetarii

Take responsibility for your actions

A good leader must take responsibilities for their own actions.  Always take responsibility for your actions.  If your actions ends in a bad outcome, and you deny that you had anything to do with it, people will lose respect for you.  But if your actions end in a good outcome, take credit for it as well.  As a good leader you must be able to accept both good and bad.

Face your fears

A good leader must be able to face their fears.  If there is an issue, or a problem at hand face it.  Do not run away from it, you need to tackle it heads on in order to overcome it.  By overcoming your problem and issues you become a stronger person for it.

Kill your emotions

A good leader must learn to kill off their emotions.  When in a situation where there are a lot of emotions flying.  Kill your emotions off.  Chances are other people are suffering as much as you do.  You cannot make prompt decisions when you are emotional.

Stay clear headed

A good leader must stay clear headed.  If in an emergency situation, and your mental capacity are not clear then you could end up making the wrong decision.  So to be a good leader you need to stay clear headed at all times.

Face facts

A good leader must be able to face the facts.  To be a leader one must be able to face facts.  What I mean to say is, if the facts are that some rations have been damaged then there is less food to go around.  A good leader must be able to accept this fact and move on from it.

Learn to prioritize

A good leader must learn to prioritize.  If you do not know how to prioritize, then your leadership would be at stake.  Some things can be done, some things cannot be done, some can be done right now, some can be done after a requirement is met.  These you must prioritize to get things done.

Learn to follow instructions

A good leader does not only know how to make orders but to also learn to follow instructions.  As a result to be a good leader you must also be a good follower.

Have good teamwork skills

A good leader must learn teamwork.  You cannot lead if there is no one to lead; all you would be is just alone.  So consider the availability of your peers and help each other out in completing a task.

Take charge

A good leader must learn to take charge/command.  If the situation calls for it, step up and take charge for without someone taking charge then the tasks available may not be finished.

Learn to delegate

A good leader must learn to delegate, you are doing enough by commanding the situation and see who needs to do what according to their skills.  You cannot do things alone remember to delegate.

Learn to multitask

A good leader must learn to multi-task.  Sometimes a lot of things must be done at once.  Learn to do  it, and you will become a good leader.  If you cannot multi-task then things may start to fall apart.

Observe everything and jot down notes if you have to

A good leader must learn to observe.  Watch everything carefully, see what is going on, who is doing what, when they are doing it, and what is the results of their actions.  If you know all these things, you can follow up on any situations and offer solutions to any problems that may arise.

If there is something you don’t know how to do, learn how to do it by asking or reading about it.

A good leader must learn how to do as much as possible; if there is something you cannot do, ask about it or read up on it.  A good leader know when he is not able to do stuff, and what he can do to change that.

Learn to trust in others, and in their abilities

A good leader must learn to trust their peers and in their abilities.  If you cannot trust then there is no point in taking command of those you do not trust.  You must also trust in their abilities, that they can do the stuff that you have assigned them to do.

Be loyal and respectful

A good leader must be loyal and respectful to their peers, if you are not loyal and respectful to them, how can you expect them to be the same to you.

Make the hard decisions

A good leader must learn to make the hard decisions.  If others are not up to standard then they must be taught or if still unable to meet standard they must be cut off as a liability.

Prepare to be blame by others

A good leader must be prepared to be blame by their own actions which may amount to good outcome but heavy losses; it is your responsibility to take the blame.

Take responsibility for indirect actions caused by your peers

A good leader must be able to take responsibility for actions caused indirectly by their peers.  If they are in command, then they are responsible indirectly for the actions.

Be a good listener

A good leader must learn to listen, by listening to your peers, you can find out a lot about them, their needs, and their skills.

Care about your peers

A good leader must care for their peers.  If something is wrong then you must be there for them, if no one is there for them, you could lose them to their problem.

Take care of your peers’ needs

A good leader must learn to take care of their peers’ needs.  Once their needs are satisfied, they become happy, and when they are happy work become more efficient and of higher quality.

Be succinct and clear in your decisions and orders

A good leader must be able to make decisions and orders which are both succinct and clear.  If these are not well understood by your peers then they may do the wrong thing and their actions may be undoable.

Be calm at all times, if unable to do so, relegate decision making to someone else

A good leader must remain calm at all times for without calmness the tasks may not be done correctly.  If unable to stay calm then they must relegate their decision making to those who are able so they can complete the task in your stead.  A good leader must learn this fact that they are yet “human” and cannot remain calm at all times.

Be polite and have good mannerisms

A good leader must learn to be polite and have good mannerism, without it, no one would listen to you, nor would they want to follow you.

Do not seek to oppress but learn to placate others’ needs

A good leader does not need to oppress other to make themselves look better, but learn to placate them with care and compassion.

If others cannot do the work that you gave them, teach it to them, so they will be able to next time.

A good leader must learn to teach their peers, if they cannot do the delegated tasks, by either through example or by talking about it.  No one is capable of doing everything.

Look for alternate solutions, for probable scenarios

A good leader must be able to find alternate solutions to occurring problems and think ahead to possible problems that may occur so that no more problems will arises.

Ask questions

A good leader must learn to ask questions about everything, how are you expect to know stuff if you don’t ask.

Set high standards for yourself, so that you may lead by example

A good leader must set high standards for themselves so that they may become the benchmark everyone must pursue in becoming.  By setting high standards for yourself your peers will do the same for themselves.

Hold your ground if you know you are in the right

A good leader must be able to defend their position if they know they are in the right.  Why move from the position if you are not wrong.

Make a retreat when you suffer more loss than needed

A good leader must learn to retreat, if the outcome results in greater loss than calculated there is no point in fighting if the losses are too high.

Apologize and accept consequence when you are in the wrong.

A good leader must learn to apologize and accept any occurring consequence if they are found to be in the wrong.  If you do not do so, then your peers will learn to not take responsibilities as well.

Think for yourself, but make informed and well thought out decisions.

A good leader must learn to think for themselves; but still listen to other people’s advices to make well thought out decisions.  If you do not do so, then you would just be following others.

You are not always right

A good leader knows that they are not always right; everyone is fallible and can make the wrong decisions at times.

Defend your peers

A good leader will always come to defence of their peers, no matter the situation, if your peers are wrong, then you must take responsibility for it.

Learn to read other people

A good leader must learn to read other people’s characteristics by way of being around them and observing their behaviour and interpersonal skills.  This is a good skill to have and will serve you well when seeing to the needs of every one of your peers.

Story - Tales of Legends Past

Written by Metha Metharom

Legend of the Four Heavenly Kings

Up in the sky there live the Emperor of Heaven and his four sons, all of them dragon kind.  The four of them brothers, the four heavenly kings.

They rule the heaven in four quadrants, north, south, west, and east.

But something was wrong in the world below.

There was a huge negative energy arising on Earth

The world was dying and they do not know why.

So the Emperor sent his sons to earth to investigate.

You see there was a fifth but oldest son, but his path had led him astray.

He wish to conquer all humans and destroy all that is in heaven above.

The brothers struggle their hardest but all was in vain, for the oldest was the strongest and there was nothing they can do.

So the fifth son (the oldest) rose to do battle with the emperor, for many days and many nights the clashing of weapons was heard in term of thunder and lightning in the heaven abroad.

Eventually all was quiet and many rejoice thinking the Emperor had succeeded but he did not for he could not kill his own son.

So the fifth rules the heaven causing havoc here and there, and all in their domain became hell.

Eventually the four brothers came to blow as to what has to be done.

Not listening to the second born one by one, the king made their way into heaven to challenge the faux emperor.

And one by one they meet their demises.

The last remaining one could not stand any further but knew he would too be bested.

So he went off on a journey to recruit the mighty beasts.

The first was the Phoenix, the second the white tiger, and the third was the black tortoise.

Together they formulated a plan.

In the Light of the Blue Moon when the Demon Emperor was weakest they would execute their plan

The Phoenix would burn the rampart of the castle distracting their enemies, while the tiger would go on the offense and the turtle would shield the dragon from all harm.

But when they reach the throne no one was there.

You see, the denizens of heaven was sick of being ruled by a fist of iron so they did away with the Emperor, just as they did away with his sons.

With this realization, the dragon knew what must be done, these denizens were nothing more but demons, who in their selfish desires cut out their own heart and fell to the darkness.

So he set up a new place for them, and call it hell, for that place was like its namesake.  Those who suffer without cause of justification should remain so, while those who will free themselves will be allowed to ascend.

In this very way a new system was form, those who did bad deeds was sent to hell, those who did good get to go to heaven and those who still need to learn shall stay on Earth.

And with this in mind the four beasts became the new Kings.

The Knight and the Holy Rose

Once there was a boy from another country travelling on a magical airship with his parents who was not that old.

As they landed they make way on to the dock.

The boy held a stick in hand for he one day aspires to be a knight.

That was the fateful meeting of a prophecy foretold

On the other side of the dock travelling to an airship, an immortal princess.

The immortal princess held in her hand an undying rose.

As the boy and his family travel inward, the princess and her group move outward.

They run into each other.

The boy drops his stick and the princess drops her rose.

In the midst of it, they both reach at the same time.

But the boy being a gentleman reach for the rose and handed it to the princess.

Time seems to freeze, as all stood to watch for the princess took the rose from his hand.

Too late the actions can not be taken back for, it is tradition that if her kind were to accept a flower from any man she is to be married to him.

The boy did not know he was too young.

The princess did not remember she was too carefree.

Both in a rush to fulfil the earth shaking prophecy.

"If two beings from opposite roads were ever to become one then the world would end and there be none"

Witnessing the act, the King was determine to make the boy's life as bad as possible.

The boy would grow but would become an outcast all his life.

As he becomes a man, a war takes place and he volunteer to join

The War was rough and people were in dire situation but the boy took on hundreds of foes defeating all single handed.

He got guts, he got fire, he got willpower any woman would desire.

This made him a hero and he returned as such.

But for some reason the King would not promote him, and he remain a soldier.

Within the year there were monsters attacking in and out.

But the hero would defeat them all, and with complaint from the people the King had no choice but to make him a Knight.

Finally exasperated by the Knight's effort, he sent the knight on a fool's errand to kill a dark sorcerer which would end in his death.

The Knight readily accept for he willingly serve the people and what his King commands he must do.

As he made his way to the hideout, he realize it was no hideout but a prison, the dark sorcerer was a prisoner and the Knight risking his reputation free the sorcerer for it does not add up to kill someone who is imprisoned.

The sorcerer was grateful but that was not good for the Knight

For by freeing a prisoner, he himself has become a fugitive.

As news circulated, the Knight became hunted and hounded; nowhere could he hide without a place to rest.

Finally he was wounded, from nothing to hero, to nothing once more, but he made his escape and at death's door.

As he lost consciousness he thought of that fateful day, of the smile of the immortal princess.

When he came to, he realize that he was being taken care of by the same Princess

She never aged, never older.

As he stays to recover, he and the princess had a tryst.

Something which would induce the prophecy.

When this got winded by the citizens they came in an uproar to kill the Knight so the destiny would not be fulfilled.

The Knight and Princess was in dire situation, so they hole themselves up in a tower to stay in their defence.

As they come by the thousands, the Knight would defeat them all with his sword play

The princess would support with her magic

But eventually it would become too much and the knight did fell.

As they rush the rampart they found the Princess giving birth to a healthy child, but yet the end did not come.

They knew then the prophecy was false and they were in err.

They have vilify and innocent man and had commit a crime.

In the meantime, now knowing that his prophecy had failed, the King seeks to escape but before he could do so, he was struck down by the sorcerer who was the true ruler all along.

As the princess held her beloved to her, his eyes open "I am not dead yet, do not kill me off yet"

And there was much rejoice and sheepishness amongst the crowd.

With this the two kingdoms joined and became one.

When the child became an adult he became King and with his dictation an order was to be formed.

The Order now stands as "The Knight and the Holy Rose"

Legend of the Undefeated Hero

There exists a prophecy "Out of the night, he comes to fight for the light with all his might".

A young boy enter the gardens, where a small princess play, he gave her a small rose and she put it in her hair.  He was usher out for he was not meant to be there.

The boy became a man who was ever so bold, a hero that any girl wishes to hold.

Then comes a war between light and darkness, where many men died against monsters of the darkness.

The hero fights with all the strength in his heart, against the shadows that could not last.

The witch queen had him in a hold, and he was doomed for he was too bold.

But he gave it his all, and he breaks from the witch's thrall

Then as he was to die the Princess came and save him from what is dire.

Then they came in two, he face his death and his demon at the same time

He fights them hard, but he has no heart, so on the edge of death he was sent but with his will in tow he conquers his demons and defeated death.

Finally he made his way to the depth of despair and face the Snake King, though poison by his lies he nearly succumbs, in the end he defeat the poisonous one.

So he stands undefeated to this day.

On his death bed, he succumbs to it of old age, and when he awake once more to another world he was there.

Power Exercise 1

Psychic Awakening

Power-up 101: Inner Core Building - Merging the Masculine and Feminine Energy.

Within you there is an inner core, and outside you is your shell, which is known as your aura.  Your inner core is the very thing that makes you, you, your persona, and your characteristics.

The difference between inner core and auras are one does not change as much as the other.  Auras changes when there are brief transitions, your mood may change, so will your aura.  But your inner core may not change, the change may occur after a period of something drastic, huge, or big.  This could be an inner change which may occur from an illness, an enrolment in a course which shift the way of your thinking or something traumatising which shift your entire being suddenly.

But these changes does not have to be from something big, it can come from just some meditation.

Now that we have covered the subject of inner core, we will now go to how to awaken it, or put you into a state of rebirth.

Within you there are the masculine and feminine energy.  Both of these are like two voices saying two different and most likely opposite things.

The masculine may say black and the feminine may say white, but what each is saying when put together is.

They are two sides of the same coin.

When the person has recognized both of these sides for what it truly is, it is easier to see in one viewpoint instead of two opposing view.  It stabilize your very being and empower you to become a whole new you, thus it awaken your inner core, and rebirth you from those two sides into one whole “coin”.

Power-up 102: Find Your Inner Power.

Your inner power is what and where you draw your personal power from.

Treading on the elements here and the three-dimensional we go through finding our strengths.  Where is it that you find your inner power when all hell breaks loose, is it your heart? Your will? Your mind? Or somewhere else?

But that’s not all when you found out what it is you come from, you must find the element that best resonate with that “strength”.  How you go about it, is if it is your heart then what does it feel like when you need rescuing, is it impenetrable like iron? If so perhaps that is your strength’s element.

For example if it is your heart, then it comes in threes e.g. Heart of Iron, Feelings of Steel, and Emotions of Titanium.  They are three of the same things, each reflecting each other, each side seemingly built up on the other.  But it is the exact same thing.

How you find this, is up to you, it is harder but not as hard as the next step.

Power-up 103: Taming the Element of your Instinct/Intuition.

Now we get to the hard part, the third part of your awakening.  This comes in the form of a six sided dice.  Each side of the dice representing an element of your mirror image; the one that resonates best with you.

How you find out what it is, is up to you, but for me was to just let my mind wander and let it be caught by an element and let it go along with it until it stays with it.

As an example if your mirroring element is fire, then that fire resides inside you in six different forms.

To you it could mean fire of rage, fire of desire, fire of passion, fire of purification, fire of pain, and fire of destruction.

It is up to you in which side you would pick, as each not only represents the element, each would also represent an energy type – masculine or feminine.

But once you have found and tame the element of your desire, you awaken once more into yourself.

Power-up 104: Define your Spiritual Body.

The 4th level of awakening has no set shape, rather it is malleable.  But it is a combination of all the steps already taken.  For me the element that has taken shape was Light e.g. Wisdom + Burning Presence + Moving Wind = Light.

Now that you have defined your element it is now time for the first step in defining your spiritual body, at first for me it starts off with as being a sphere as its natural state.  It is therefore in its most neutral state, for someone else it might be a vortex.

The second stage of defining your spiritual body is by letting of that shape, and let it come to you in whatever shape it desires, e.g. letting it define its own face, features, clothing, accessories or what not.

This not only sets you apart from others but it brings forth your true power, releasing your full limit of awakening.

Now it is possible to do it in different steps, I practically did this in reverse so it is possible to take different steps in awakening your psychic powers.  So do only what comes natural to you.

Power-up 201: Letting go of the Duality Concept

What if the stuff we have covered in Power-ups 101-104 was just for the sake of teaching and learning?  Within your mind now you should have a pretty strong sense of identity.  Well in this chapter we learn to chuck all that away.

Let go completely the concept of duality, most of us, are two minded about things, so that was why the concept of masculinity and femininity was used.  To merge those two so a new voice can be heard.  A voice that is inside of us so desperate to be heard it split itself into two aspects, the proactive and the reactive.  These two labels can neither be fit into the masculine or the feminine.  It is just two voices, one that says yeah, and the other that says nay.

Now that you are completely one minded about this, let those useless concepts go and step up to the plate to make your own decisions.  There is no one else inside your head, except you alone, your fear, your misconception, your beliefs, your disbeliefs, your regrets that you learn from hindsight and how much you wish for foresight.

Now that you have let go of those inner voices, go to the bathroom, take off your clothes and look down.  What do you have? Is it a Penis or a Vagina or both? This defines who you are.

You are therefore either a man, a woman, a hermaphrodite, a man with two penis, and etc.  This is your identity.  You make the decision and no one else.

Power-up 202a: Letting go of the elemental concept

You do not need the elemental concept; they are just there to define who you are, what you are like, and what you are liable to do.

Will of Fire, Strength of Flame, Spirit of Inferno, they come down to the same thing.  You have a strong willpower.   Same goes with Heart of Iron, Feelings of Steel, and Emotions of Titanium.  It means you have an impenetrable heart, unyielding and incapable of being crushed.

You are therefore a strong person, and should be proud of it.

Power-up 202b: Letting go of the concept that Intuition and Instinct are separate aspects

Intuition is commonly view as coming from the heart, as it is commonly construed as an aspect of femininity.  However let me put this straight to you.  The heart’s function is to pump blood to various part of your body.

So whatever comes to you in the form of emotions are all from your head, I am no expert but there are separate sections of your brains, each controlling certain things, desires, pleasures, pain, willpower, practical thinking, logic, rationalization, creativity, and possibly a myriads of other stuff that has not been mentioned.

So therefore your Intuition/Instinct is one and the same.   Therefore thoughts and emotions come from the same place, your brain.  Your metaphysical head is therefore your metaphysical heart.  There are no separations and neither should there be.

Power-up 203: Letting go of the Spiritual Body Concept.

Once again, look down and what do you see? It does not matter who you were in your past life, neither does it matter much if there is a past life or no.

Look in a mirror if you must.  But what you see, is what you got to work with, humbling isn’t it now that you know you are not anything special.  It is just you, and only you.  If you want to be stronger, work out, get fit, do something about it.

With a strong body, comes a strong mind, and with a strong mind come strong willpower and a strong “heart”.

Power-up 301: The True Meaning behind the Inner Core

Now that we have let go of so many concepts, we revisit the inner core concept.  The real meaning in teaching this concept was to build a strong foundation of your character, your persona, your true self.

Auras works the same way, it is your outer shell, your outer persona, or your established mask.   The trick is to match your aura with your inner core, to portray yourself as you naturally are.  Thereby negating any further need for a mask or auric field.  Once your aura and inner core is matched up, all that exists is therefore the inner core, your true persona.

Once all this is grasped we can move on to the next step.

Power-up 302: The True reason behind the teaching of the elements

In volume 1 we look at the elemental aspect of you.  This is not totally without reasons.  If you follow the intuition aspect, therefore the heart, replace that element with strength, if you follow the instinct aspect then replace element with force.

Therefore you have force of will and strength of heart.  This was your foundation, this was your core.

Same as when we looked at the mirroring aspect of the elements change these to force or strength and you discovered what they are.  For me it was force of change, force of freedom, force of adaptation, force of calm, force of pleasantries, and force of revolution.

Force is another word for personal power or presence.  You have the presence to do these things, but you did not discover it until you try and practice those visualizations.

Power-up 401: Why did we go through all that and discover that it is not about psychic powers?

At the end of Volume 1, we look at the Spiritual Body; a culmination of all your work, the rest of the volumes was about letting go of those concepts and the true meaning behind it.

Humans do have psychic powers in term of intuition and instinct.  We pick up emotions and aim of those people we have interacted with.

What we have done here is to journey together to find our true self, and see what it is and who we are.  For without this inner knowledge we can’t have any effect on the outer world.

The Spiritual Body was how we would like to become, what we would ideally like to look like in term of prowess and skills.  It is usually a healthy body as it shows the full culmination of our entire being at that point in time.

But now that we are near the journey’s end all I have left to say is make your own decisions, the choice is yours, no one else can do it for you.  You have the power to change the fate’s road with your own very feet, move it and get out of that rut.

The Next Step

Mind Journey 101: What do you want to achieve with your mind?

What is it that you want to achieve with your mind? For some it is as easy as ABC, but for others this question will leave them stump.

The mind is a complex maze; fill with trappings and enemies within.  Within your mind you will find loops and holes which seem to lead somewhere but ends up going nowhere at all.

Sometimes an enemy will appear, but these are just fears bought about into being by your very own thoughts.  The power of your own thought is an amazing ability; it can give any idea and concept form and power of its own accord, bringing them to life with just a twinkle of the eye.

That’s why one must clearly define what one wishes to achieve with their mind.  For me, it was a clear and still mind.  What are yours?

Mind Journey 102: Training Your Mind

This all clearly depends on what you want to achieve with it.  As was previously mentioned, my goal was to achieve a clear and still mind, I do this by imagining an object that would represent my mind, and that was a sphere of light.

Once I have pictured in my mind exactly what I wish to see, a sphere of light, I keep staring at it until all of a sudden it dissipates.  My mind is now clear of all thoughts and is completely still.

However if you want to have a practical and logical mind then think up scenarios where one would have to use that and decides on the best course of action.

There are no better training methods, than practice, practice, and practice.

Mind Journey 103: Take Control of your Mind

Once you have achieved what you wanted, you may want to put it in good use.  For example a clear and still mind will be able to handle emergency situation or any task without making your brow sweat.

Same as a mind that seeks to understand and analyse the situation.  Once full control is granted this ability will always be available for you to use without further thoughts even if it’s not an emergency situation.

Heart’s Path 101: What does your Heart want?

Whether it is to be alone or to have a partner, your heart wants something.  Like the mind, your heart will throw trappings and enemies at you to try and question what you believe, and what you want.  Unlike the mind however, the heart tends to go wild, producing so many aspects that it truly needs.

If your wish is to be alone then it will present to you a situation where you are alone, and there is no one to save you.  Do you then seek to be alone or do you wish for company? That is up to you to decide, and no answers are wrong.  If you answer is against your heart’s desire you will stay trap within the world you have created and remain there until you find your solution, whether it be of the physical or the metaphysical.

Now if you seek a partnership, it is good to define what it is you are looking for, so you don’t look for a relationship with the wrong person, or stay trapped in the wrong relationship, or have delusions that, the person you are with is the most perfect person for you, whether they are or not.

For me, my heart presented to me each girls that exist in my heart, and then ask me why they are not suitable.

To every answer a side of a box is conjured up as each aspects are unfold e.g. I was presented with a girl I knew well, who was like a demon but what I want was a strong woman, someone who is true to herself.  As each went on I found out that in completing the box I have sealed the perfect girl inside my heart.

What my heart wanted was a pure and yet realistic girl.  A girl that is deep, thought-provoking, compassionate, true to form, proven to be loyal, and is free of all the emotional baggage.  This I found was my perfect girl, and I will keep her lock in my heart until that girl is found.

Heart’s Path 102: What kind of Heart do you want?

What kind of Heart do you want? How do you go about finding out what kinds of Heart do you want? It’s not hard and it is not easy.

First you need to figure out what type of feelings you want to convey to others.

Second you must find out what it is you have to do to convey those feelings to others.

For me it is a soft and compassionate Heart, and the ability to self-contain and control emotions.

Basically I want others to feel that I am a soft and compassionate person, readily available to help them if needed and yet at the same time if I wish to, I can be unreadable in me showing my emotions.

The advantage of this is clear, by being soft and compassionate I  will be approachable, and by having my emotions unreadable, if anger ever register they would not feel it, neither will they be confuse by it.

If I wish to be soft and compassionate then I must stayed my emotions.

So what kind of Heart do you want? I reiterate.  If you wish to have a strong Heart then you must do the other aspect of it to keep a strong Heart, by developing your emotions in the directions you desire it to go.

Heart’s Path 103: Taming the Heart

In taming the Heart, in the way that you wish you would have achieve more control of your emotions, able to express it in any way you wish, and therefore cannot be misunderstood.

But how does one tame the Heart? By practicing of course, whenever you are in a situation of any sort, express yourself in the way that you want to be felt, same as in developing the mind you would practice that set of skills.  Whereas in emotions, you would express yourself in certain ways so that it stay ingrain within your Heart.  That is the core in taming your Heart.

Body Fitness 101: Clearly defines the shape that you want your body to be in

Many of us are either skinny or fat, very few are buff and gorgeous looking.  So what is it that you want your body to look like while being realistic? Clearly some of you will want to look like a certain movie star or supermodel, but that’s highly unlikely without the usage of cosmetic surgery.

I for example want a lean, tone, and a well-defined body, that is clean and hygienic.  What do you want your body to look like?  It is easy just look into a mirror and see what part of body you wish looks like something else but it clearly isn’t.  Jot down notes, or make a mental note and move on from there.

Body Fitness 102: Training

Now that you have define what you want your body to look like, it’s time to do some training to achieve that.

There are a number of things you can do, like sit up, squats, push ups, weights, curls, running, jogging, or walking.

How you go about doing this is up to you, either do it at home and go out for a run or even join a gym and get personal training.  You can even go on a diet if you wish.  But all these things take time and strength of mind.  At the end of the day the only thing you can do is train, train, and train and you will see results.

Body Fitness 103: Achievements

As you train day in and day out you will start noticing change, your body fat dissipating, and muscles form, and as you work out your body become tone and lean.

Exercise is important if not for health then also for self-confidence.  With a strong body/base, you will have a stronger mind and stronger heart.

Everything feeds into each other, becoming more and more powerful as you work on each different aspect.  So get training and start collecting these achievements.

Running Ahead

The Head 101: Developing a powerful intuition

Intuition is a niggling sensation you get before you know what it is.  These sensations can become strong with amount of usage.  When you are doing something reach out with your Mind and feel it out and see what feelings you get from it.

This is the start of developing your intuition; other tricks are out there, presumably psychic tests, with cards, to see which card will turn up.  You can practice this with a deck of card or your own tarot deck.  With tarot, use your own mind to formulate what the picture means to you, instead of reading out the meaning but a general knowledge of this practice is probably advisable.

You could also try guessing what your friends are going to say next, just by being around them, and freak the hell out of them for fun, especially when you get it right.

The Head 102: Developing a keen instinct.

Instinct, animals has these; it is a powerful tool for survival.  It is sensing what was going to happen and reacting to it without knowing what it was.

You watch the Spiderman movies and you can see him dodging things before he sees them, that’s instinct.  But how do you develop this, without getting seriously hurt.

Well get someone to throw a ball at you and try dodging it, but if you really want to test yourself try facing away from them while they do it or go blindfold, there are certain things which gives it away like how they throw the ball, and which direction its heading, what sounds it makes and so on.  But if you are blindfolded that’s a different story, you just have to develop your other senses to counteract the blindness.

The Body 101: Training your reflexes

If you have a slow reflex, you suck, this is untrue, you can develop your reflex with training, couple with intuition and instinct, your reflex can be a most power tool.

But how do you train your reflexes? By practicing it of course.  The more you practice the more you gain.  You can get someone to throw a ball at you, and you catch the ball before it bounce, or let it bounce and try to catch the ball.  You can even have spit wars or thumb wrestling.

Thumb wrestling is probably preferable and spit wars are a bit nasty.  But eventually your speed of dodging will get faster by letting it become ingrain in part of your body memory.  That is how you train your reflex.

The Body 102: Training your reaction time

What is reaction‑time as opposed to speed?  Reaction‑time is the speed that you can do a certain thing to counteract a certain action done against you.

So how do you train it? You do it by decreasing the reaction‑time.   By decreasing the reaction‑time you use less time to do that action.

How do you decrease the reaction‑time?  You do it by anticipating what the person or thing is going to do first, so you may be ready to counteract the action before it is fully completed.  For example someone is throwing a punch at you, you watch the way they are throwing the punch, their movement, calculate it quickly in your mind and move aside.

Much of this can be done in martial art practice or by just sheer common sense, something which unfortunately is not used by much of the population.

First Flight

Willpower 101: the indomitable spirit

Now that you have completed what most people would not.  You now have a strong sense of self-belief in your own personal power to affect change in whatever way it goes.

You have learnt to visualize, debunk stupid concepts, and pull yourself together, you have train your mind, heart, and body, intuition, instinct, reflex, and reaction-time.  You are now ready for your first flight into the place with less ground than before.

By completing all these tasks you have shown an incredible amount of sheer willpower to do so.  This is what I mean by indomitable spirit, the ability to stay strong despite all the odds.  This is your first flight into freedom.

Power Exercise 2

Seeing It Clearly

Thoughts 101: The Subconscious Mind

The subconscious mind is the driving force behind what you are thinking right now.  It is the reason why we do stuff, especially in a certain way.

If we are aggressive, then there is a reason why we are aggressive.  If we are perverse, then there is also a reason behind it.

In my mind I have always thought kill what you can’t reason with, but what it is I am actually doing is running away from the truth.  The truth is that by killing it, I regain control.  Control is what I desperately need and that is the truth.

Thoughts 102: The Conscious Mind

The conscious mind is what we use on a daily basis.  Like What kind of dog is that? When do they open? Those are conscious questions?

But humans are repetitive creature; we seek to do what is normal to us day by day so that we don’t have to think it through.

Perhaps that isn’t the best of thing, because when we stop thinking about our actions, we become predictable, and predictable means we can be easily read.  Neither is unpredictability for that matter, if we become too unpredictable we become insane in our head so we need a balance of some kind.

Therefore the issue then is thinking before you leap into actions.  On a daily basis consciously force yourself to think before doing anything, and that in itself is a good thing.

Thoughts 103: Self‑Actualization

When we work out the driving force behind our way of thinking and doing things, and actually began the process of actively thinking we began self‑actualize

Like I have said before the reason why in my mind to choose to kill what I can’t reason with is lack of control, the true solution therefore is to let go of the situation.

By letting go of the situation, you acknowledge that, there is clearly nothing that can be done.  But that doesn’t mean you should stop fighting either, especially in a life or death situation.  You can therefore deal with a situation rationally and clear of thought without being overly aggressive towards it.

To think is not a bad thing but to overly think is.  You do not have to overly think about everything like what kind of sewing kit was used to make that dress, unless of course if you are a tailor in training or has an interest in that area.

There is no need to overly think anything, for example if you want to click the save button while thinking vaguely about it, it is still actively thinking, you do not have to have it clearly formed.  It is when you do it on automatic that’s when we began to see a problem.

Feeling It Softly

Emotions 101: Pain, Hurt, Trauma, Desire, Wants, and Lust

Like the subconscious mind, pain, hurt and trauma are considered out inner feelings, the reason why we love, hate and fear.

Pain, hurt, and Trauma are the same things, they are all pain, and it just depends on how long they last.

When we are hurting we start to run away from the issue that are hurting us, and they often come in dreams to annoy us and as a result we run even further away from it creating pain, and if it is ongoing it becomes a trauma.

So run not from the problem at hand but rather question it and try to find an answer to that problem, and then you will find the solution already rest deeply inside your heart.

Desire, Wants, and Lust are also the same thing; it is just how badly we want it.  But why do we want these things? Does it replace what we lack? When we want something, we either let go of that want or want it more and it becomes a desire and if we still can’t get it, it becomes lust.

The reason behind these feelings are that we lack the quality of these things, and wish to use these qualities to replace our own, so that we are seen as the material rather than ourselves.

In an early exercise, in The Hearts 101, we seek to find our perfect mate, the girl of our dream.  This girl exist it is us.   I had wanted a pure, yet realistic girl, a girl who is thought-provoking, true to form, compassionate, not shallow, free from emotional baggage, and proven to be trustworthy.  This is the girl of my dreams.

But what I seek to acknowledge these are the exact qualities I can find in myself, the wants that I have to find that perfect mate has taken the form of a girl to please my own rationality.

Emotions 102: Love, Hate, Fear, Like, and Dislike.

What if I were to say that only two of those aspects are real, Love and Like?  What we don’t like, we began to hate, and what we hate we began to fear, and what we fear we run from or try to eliminate.

But what we fail to realize is that what we dislike in others, is merely just a reflection of a characteristic we do not like in ourselves.  So when they bother us, we began to distance ourselves from them, and if they continue to pester us, we hate them, and then if all else fails we run from them or eliminate them from our sight.

This is not hate, it is fear.  What we fear about them, is that they can accept that part about themselves but we cannot, so we run even harder and try to change ourselves to what we are not to cover our supposed negative side.

For example I hate those who fall in love and trust easily thinking they are naïve.  But what I am really saying is I do not want to acknowledge that I have this too, a loving and trusting heart.

Emotions 103: Self‑awareness

When we discover the driving force of our feelings, and our outer emotions we begin to become self-aware.  It is a state of peacefulness and calmness.  It is serenity.

For we are at peace with ourselves, our emotions become calm and thus our heart is serene.  And that’s when we realize we have become self-aware.

Self‑awareness means that we are no longer so easily perturbed by stuff which seems confronting to us for when we let go of our fear we let go of our desire, hate and pain.  We become untouchable by negativity for we know that that negativity is nothing but an illusion created by our mind.

Presenting Yourself Neatly

Health 101: Inner Health

When I am talking about inner health, I am talking about your physical inner health.  What this means is eating right and sleeping right.

If you don’t eat right, you shrivel away your energy, and your mind becomes unhinged, completely out of balance.  But when you eat right you become balance.  This goes the same way for sleeping right, you don’t do it and the same things happen.  So imagine you not doing both, not only would you be at death’s door but you would be completely insane.

So how does one eat right and sleep right? Eat only to be fed, and eat only when hunger strikes and eat at the right time as your kin, and you build up your relationship too.  Same goes for sleep, when you are tired have a rest, but not enough to be over sleeping, if you do your body clock goes out of whack and you end up  being unable to sleep at the same time as other people driving them to the point of insanity with you walking around during the night which equates to bad for relationship.

Health 102: Personal Hygiene, Physical Fitness, and Interpersonal skills

How we present ourselves to others defines how we are accepted by society.  This includes personal hygiene, physical fitness, and interpersonal skills.

In matter of personal hygiene is easy, all we have to do is clean ourselves, wash ourselves, brush our teeth, comb our hair, and wash our face.  If we don’t we can create a bad smell, attract dirt, and look unpleasant, then people would want to stop and hang around us because of our laziness in tending to ourselves.

Physical fitness is also an important but also yet harder part to deal with, because it can actually require hard work to maintain, but the plus side to this is we feel good, and we look good, making us pleasant company to be around.

Interpersonal skills are one of the most important in this trifecta of presenting oneself.  If we are rude, crude, loud mouthed, a gossip or just plain antisocial everyone would want to stop hanging around us because of how unpleasant we have become.  So instead of talking, try to listen to other people once in a while, you never know what you might learn.

Health 103: Self‑confidence

When we have all the above things, we can begin to have self‑confidence, it comes from within.  It is the power of self‑belief to have confidence to face anything and be able to deal with it.

Without it we would be sadden, and feel as if we are by ourselves, when really we are not and have plenty of friends around.

Have self-confidence and become one of the friends of those who call you friends.

Power Exercise 3

Know-It-All

Knowledge 101: Know Thyself

So what do you know about yourself? I know that as a human being I have many facets as yet undiscovered.

I know what I like, and I know what I love, I know what I want to do with my body and with my mind, I know how to take care of my body, and how to take care of my heart.  What is it then in myself that I do not know? Many, many things, and I also know this.

Knowledge 102: Culture, Logic, and Facts

In all our paths in life, we meet new and interesting people, see wonderful things, hear about their life that is culture.

Everywhere we go there is culture; there are work cultures, school cultures, and social group culture.  It is the common practice by a group of people wherever they are.  It is important to understand this culture so you can easily fit in and find a social group you can get along with.  If not, then say goodbye and find another group you can be with.

Logic is the ability to get from one place to another in an easy to understand step that is practicable by everyone if tried hard enough.  Understanding logic is easy, if one comes from A then the natural inclination is to get to B.  When understood a practical method can be found in solving any problems.

Facts are what have been proven to be true information.  In reality there are many facts.  There is up, and there is down, there is left and there is right.  There is time that ticks by as you work away at something and there are good eating at your favourite restaurant.

Knowing these things are good for you, do what it takes to gather them.

Do

Actions 101: Self‑discipline

Do or do not, that is the question.  When you are by yourself, and there is no one to tell you what to do, who then decides what you can or cannot do? Yourself of course.

It is a matter of setting boundaries of what you do, and will not do, this is important so as you cannot get ahead of yourself and do self-harm.

For example, there is something that you want to eat, because it taste good, but you know it’s bad for you, do you A) eat it or B) don’t.  Well its entirely up to you to decide.  But for me I wouldn’t because it would be bad for me.  It is all a matter of self-control really.

Actions 102: Taking Responsibility

What you do ultimately has an effect.  This effect can be good or bad, depending on what’s done and who you did it to.

If something goes wrong, and you were the one responsible own up to it and take responsibility for your action.

This is a mark of good character, and is wanted in every place; someone who takes responsibility for their own actions can be a great friend and in most case a great employee.  So take responsibility for your actions and people will start respecting you.

Power Exercise 4

Go Forth

Kingship 101: Blessed are the wise

As you past by life, it is important to define to you, what is right, and what is wrong, to have careful understanding of the situation, place or people and that is the start of  forming your own philosophy.

By forming your own philosophy one can become thought provoking and become a good conversationalist finding more and more people to talk to as time goes by.

By attracting people and taking responsibility of your own actions one gain a mark of respect, the start of what it is to be a great leader.  One who is both respected and wise, a ruler of your own domain.

Power Ascending 1

A Soulful Journey

Spirituality 101: Visions of the Past

As we go through life memories stick with us, and when we think about them they become images/visions of the past.

There are good/positive images and bad/negative images.  Usually in times of life or death situation do we remember these, our soulful journey from birth to the present, in whatever situation we may be in.

The visions can do one of two things or both, it can make us regret our decisions at that time and/or let us learn from it.  If we choose to learn from it then we can be set free from the never ending cycle of pain we put ourselves through and never have to experience the same situation again.

Spirituality 102: Insight for the Future

By looking at the past and the present we can carefully predict the outcome of the future.  For example we have been using so much fossil fuel that now we are in a lot of trouble from ozone and overheating.  We have kill so many whales that they may become extinct.

These things may or may not happen but it seems likely and these predictions should not be taken lightly, for if we have insight into what the future may hold perhaps yet we can change our fate.

The Human Way

Humanity 101: Sacrifices and Sufferings

Throughout our life we make sacrifices, we sacrifice our time and our money for our children to have a better life.  We even sacrifice ourselves when the need arise.   To sacrifice is to put others before ourselves; the greatest love of all comes from personal sacrifice of our lives.

We see this every day in wars or conflicts across the nations, our soldiers dying for whatever cause, but still dying in our causes or those who sacrifice in the name of peace.

But then there are the type of sacrifices which are unjust or unreasonable, but yet we also see every day.  It is called sufferings.  Sufferings are caused by the human mind to inflict upon each other the pain they think others should feel, that comes in the form of pain, hurt, and trauma.

Yet it happen, because people let it happen, for though we do  this to each other and even ourselves it is unjust to hold a grudge against anyone.

But the only difference remain, one is just the other unjust, where the line is, it is hard to see, in this world and age there surely are too many sacrifices and sufferings made.

Humanity 102: Karma and Judgement

In term of Karma, for everything we do there is an equal or opposite reaction.  If we do something it surely will have an effect no matter how small on someone’s or something’s life.

We step on a blade of grass, it gets crunched up, a bug is underneath it, it dies.  That bug could have gone and pollinate a flower which you may later want to pick for your beloved but couldn’t because it was never pollinated.

But in everything we do, there is a good and bad outcome, no matter how big or how small.

But this doesn’t mean that you have to worry about every single thing but rather be aware that what you do right now to someone may end up coming back to bite you on the butt.

Judgement, from the moment we meet someone we judge them, on their appearance, their characteristics, their behaviours, and their lifestyle.  It is almost unavoidable not to judge because we need to know what others are like so we can identify ourselves.  Like karma, if you judge be sure to know you will be judge back.  You never know the next beggar might be a millionaire in disguise and you could have just jeopardised your chance of a lifetime.

So judge not unless you are judge, do not unless you are done in.  But with that being said, all these things are unavoidable but one could escape it by throwing away fear and grasping love in their heart and do only what is right to us.

Power Ascending 2

Seeing the Light

Enlightenment 101: Doorway to the Universe

When you have to a conclusion that in life there are both sacrifices and sufferings, karma and judgement, you realize it is all rather silly because everything we do  in these we do it out of fear.

Fear for our loved ones, fear from being hurt, fear for our lives, and fear for our values, all of it is rather silly, because fear only exists if you let it become real.

Let not fear into thy heart and you shall be enlightened.

There Be Angels

Love 101: Becoming the Light

Once you get rid of all the pain, hurt, trauma, sufferings, sacrifices, karma, judgement, you know that all there is, is love.

Love at its highest form is to love all without conditions on their character or judgement, their virtue or their actions.  For what they do, they do unto themselves, not to us for all we are is made of love in our hearts and lights in our mind.

Power Ascending 3

Inner Peace 101:  Opening an eye that does not exist

When you have gotten rid of all the fear in your heart, including the fear of not being loved, then you have reach inner peace.

There are no more conflicts, no more fears, all there is, is just is, now the present and ever more.  A place that only exists when our hearts, mind and body become at peace with itself that there are just no more negativity in you.

Power Ascending 4

Boundless Energy

The Self 101: There are no limits

Once you realize that there is no stopping you except fear itself you begin to awaken to the fact that you have boundless energy and that there are no limits placed upon you.

You can do anything with love and light in your heart and mind, for there is nothing except that.

The Way of All Things

A New Journey

1a) The Journey Begins

The Soul 101: The Shape of Thy Soul

My journey first started when I created my first mind exercise.  It was a focusing exercise.  Because I was fill with fears, doubts, unwanted and desired words, I was going crazy in myself.

I put my hand together and with it draw all these thoughts together to form a blade of pure thought, a clearly defined and sharp blade, with this my mind became focus, but the sword keep drifting away, and I was unable to control it.  With this sword I began to tame it so it follows my order to move only as I wish it.  This was what I wanted but now, is a totally different situation.

On my journey here I began to find that my mind is now clear and still but it is sharp and focused, something which I was not able to consolidate with my soft and compassionate heart.  But now that my heart and mind are one I need to find the shape of my soul.

I tried again once more to form a sword but it spin endlessly unable for me to tame it, becoming something that which I did not want, so what then is the problem? The problem lies in that that sword was formed only from my mind.  This sword on the other hand is of my soul.

I do not wish my soul to be soft, and compassionate, focused and beautiful.  What I wanted was a sword that does its task, but at the same time flow elegantly with the breeze.

So by speaking the words of my soul, I began to tame my sword, which is really the shape of my soul.  There is no fighting the sword, there is only becoming one with the sword, in other words, to become one with myself.

So what are these words? For me it was a sword of elegance, piercing, reflective, enduring, strikes true, and is fearless of all, and that is the shape of my soul.

1b) Seeing the Journey’s End

Living Life 101: How do you want your life to take shape?

It is important to find out how you want your life to take shape, in what way do you wish to be remembered at the end of it, is how you begin your outer journey.

What is it that you want to be remembered for? I imagine a suit of armour protectively forming around me but what kind of armour is it?  This is much like the inner journey only it’s about how you wish other’s to see you.

At life’s end I want to be remembered as wise, respectable, modest, worldly, precise, and full of life that is the shape of my armour and therefore the way in which I want people to remember me by.

2) Illuminating the Path

Being 101: Understanding what you want to become

Now that you have begun to undertake this new journey, with a weapon in hand and a set of new suit of armour, you must understand what you wish to become.

The truth is easy to find in the combination of your weapon’s and armour’s words to fill the space in between and that is you.  I wanted to be a good, kind, compassionate, truthful, respectful, and loving man but now analysing how I want to start my journey and how I want to end my journey I found I want to be kind hearted, reasonable, self-defined, pure of thought, understanding, and know one’s own boundary.

3) Freedom in the Real World

Choices 101: Travelling one’s path

Now that you have figured out what you want to be inside, outside, and how you wish to be it is important how you go about achieving this.

Every choices we make opens up new pathways and close off a few, so we must be mindful of which we take, so remember it well how you begin the journey, what you want out of it, how you want to be, and you will realize your choices are limitless and that there is indeed freedom in the real world.

Journey’s End

Nothingness 101:   From nothing to everything

Now that that exercise is done, there is no need for armour, sword, becoming anything, or what choices to make, we become nothing and therefore part of everything.

The cycle then begins again, from life to death, from death to life, and the wheel begins anew.

Everything 101:  From everything there is me

From nothing there is everything, and from everything there is me.  I exist because if everything is supposed to exist then so must I.  Crossing the threshold of the wheel of death and life, I came, for if I return to nothing and from nothing from everything then so must I.

A New Home

Me 101: I AM ME

There is no resounding word, than that “I AM ME” and you can hear it roar across the threshold of everything.

The past is gone; the future is yet to be here, only the present stays with me.

I am here and “I AM ME”.

Way of Conduct

  1. Know Yourself
  2. Know Others
  3. Do not overly express it may do more harm than good
  4. Defend yourself but try your best to harm none
  5. Defend your truths but admit error of ways
  6. Defend others but leave them be when they are wrong
  7. Do your best to take care of your body to lighten the load and avoid the burdening of others
  8. Do your best to take care of others if they cannot look after themselves and only if they requested for help
  9. Always ask for permissions if doing something for others
  10. Ask for help if no answers can be found
  11. Always ask for permission when needing passage of way
  12. Do not demand, it is better to request
  13. Forgive but do not forget; be aware but do not fear
  14. Respect all living beings, despite their ages, gender or racial differences
  15. Follow instructions if given, but take a side road if not suitable and apologize if needs be
  16. Find your own way until none can be found then if needs be refer back to here

Explanations

Know Yourself

There is no greater merit than knowing yourself, to know what you know and to know what you don’t

By knowing yourself you are capable of knowing others.

Know Others

It is important to remember that you are not alone; you are never alone so it is to your benefit to get to know others for they live in the same world as you.

Do not overly express it may do more harm than good

When you are expressing yourself, do not overly express otherwise other people may mistook you for something you are not thus harming your position and reputation in that social group.

Defend yourself but try your best to harm none

When in a situation where you need to defend yourself by all means do it, but do it in such a way that it will cause the least harm.  Use your logic, reasoning and compassion in order to understand the situation in order to work out the best of solutions.

Defend your truths but admits to error of ways

If ever your beliefs are questioned, defend it, but if you are in error of your belief then admit to your fault.  There is no point in arguing over a false belief.

Defend others but leave them be when they are wrong

Come to the defence of others, but if they are in the wrong, then do not, there is no point in helping those who are trying to make selfish gain.

Do your best to take care of your body to avoid burdening others and lighten their load

Take care of your body, and it will take care of you.  If you do not take care of it, you become weak of health and others may have to take care of it for you thus creating a burden for them.

Do your best to take care of others if they cannot look after themselves and only if they requested for help

Help take care of others only and only if they request for help, to do otherwise would be considered rude.

Always ask for permission when doing something for others

If you are intent in helping someone then ask for their permission first, it is rude to help those who you do not have permission to help.

Ask for help when no answer can be found

If you seek an answer to a question and only if you cannot find it yourself then ask for assistance.

Always ask for permission when needing passage of way

If you need to enter an area that is disbarred to you, then always ask for permission to enter, do not just enter.

Do not demand, it is better to request

When you demand something, you force others to submit to you, it is disrespectful to do so.  It is better to request for their help.

Forgive but do not forget; be aware but do not fear

By all means forgive past actions towards you but do not forget it either lest it be used on you again.  Be aware of their actions but do not fear it, lest you become paranoid, and cannot take actions.

Respect all living beings, despite their age, gender, or racial differences

Have respect for all things, no matter their age, gender, or racial differences, it matters not for whom or what they are, chances are they can do what you can’t or know more than you do.

Follow instructions if given, but take a side road if not suitable and apologize if needs be

If given an instruction then follow it, it is polite to do so, but if the situation does not fit, then you can take a different route.  Apologize if you need to do this, it is rude if you do not.

Find your own way until none can be found then if needs be refer back to here

This is just a way of conduct, one of many.  Find your own ways, and refer here only when you need to.

Explanations

Be Yourself

Be yourself and no others, respect their ways and follow your own.  The path may be similar but you have your own pathways, remember that and you can be you once again.

On Death and Other Matters

Death

True death is a finite destination, there is no returning from it, unless your heart has been restarted or you were given a new heart.  True death happens when the totality of your consciousness is gone, so it is possible for you to live without a heart but only with your brain.

Afterlife

The afterlife is defined as the life after death; It is a commonly held belief that once you died, your soul is freed from your body thus becoming immortal.  My belief on this Is that when you died, you stay dead, unless otherwise your brain has somehow survived.

Eternal Life

While it is probable that eternal life can be achieved, at this time the technology currently at hand behind it is not yet ready for such an arduous task.  Therefore it is more than likely that an elongated life span is much more achievable.

Rebirth

Rebirth or reincarnation, from my own thought is only possible in your own life and is only a metaphorical term, once you achieve true death, you stay dead, but to die inside you can be reborn.  That is to say if your persona suffers a trauma you can then achieve an act of rebirth once you recover and has thus evolved or transformed.

Angels and Demons

Angels and Demons are by product of a trauma, both of these are aspects of our beings each trying to consolidate us into being one with ourselves again.  Angels representing our positive aspect and Demons our negative.

When we have consolidate these aspects back into ourselves we see the illusion that it is and not what we think they are.

Heaven and Hell

Heaven is in our heart, hell is in our head.  Heart being emotions and head being thoughts, considering that both are from the same place that would mean that heaven and hell are the same location.

When we feel a sense of bliss or inner peace we are in heaven and when we feel scarred or hurt we are in hell.  So where we end up depends much on our emotional and mental well-being.

Story - Le Grand Amour: A Universe of Love

Written by Metha Metharom

Love Stone

A Tetralogy of Love

The Rock Samurai and the Wind Maiden

Even an immovable rock will be shifted by the caress of a gentle wind" –Metha Metharom

This is the story of love, a love which cannot be broken by any sort of intervention.

On a lonely beach sits a huge boulder, surrounded by rocks, and sand, it faces the sea, with a huge cliff standing behind it. For a human it would have been a lonely life but for a rock it was the life.

Unlike any other boulder it could think, it was sentient, it had become so like anything that has survived the test of time. In its mind it wishes for nothing else, nothing but the caress of the wind, which soothes its cracks and wounds, cooling its surfaces from the ever hot sun. Its enjoyment from the wind also too was that the wind would tell it stories of far lands and places.

The wind too, its only companion, who too has been around for a long time has become sentient. It likes to travel, without any place to go but for some reason it always feel the need to come back to the lonely boulder that sits in front of a cliff face. It loves the smoothness and calmness that the boulder offers, but what it would really like to do was to become a human, for it has seen these people smiling and laughing in their delight as they meet new things. Though limited by their bodies, it only seems to make them happier, so it wishes to become human.

As time passes by the heaven becomes sympathetic to the wind, and granted its wishes but that leaves the boulder to itself alone facing away from the cliff face, saddened by the loss but happy for the wind.

The Wind Maiden who now was reborn as a human became a maiden of beauty. Her personality and delightfulness attracted many a suitor.  As a human she is a daughter of a silk merchant who travels far and wide. Her pursuit of happiness was in the arts; her main interest was sculpting, for some reason this is so because she enjoys touching the surface of the rock and to chisel slowly away its roughness to reveal its true form. It was a strange thing because she was never once taught in this art.

One day while travelling the high seas with her father and one of her many suitors, her boat suddenly hit an outcrop which brought the ship to a stop.  As the crewmen scurry about trying to fix the boat, she and her father go on a row boat to look for food and water.  As they row the boat, they came on a deserted beach. On it was a huge boulder, with many cracks, and wounds, burnt down by the sun, but aside from that it stood stronger than any man she has known. It was love at first sight.

On her insistence, she persuaded her father to get the crew to help get it back on the ship so she could bring out its true form. As their ship was repaired they continued on their way home.

Once she got back her only thought was to carve her new boulder into a form worth admiring straight away.  In her travels she had found a culture that deeply attracted her, the culture that has many honours and bravery attached to it. Within that culture were warriors known as Samurais, and within this huge rock she saw a brave and handsome Samurai who could face all kinds of hardship without being broken.

Into him she carved, all day all night, for many weeks on end ignorant of all things surrounding her, until the perfect Samurai was formed.

Like all her carvings she would set it in the studio coming back to and fro to check on it, but for some reason she felt that this Samurai was not happy where it was, so she set it in the garden.

One of her suitors, a man of great standing, one she too found strong and powerful had noticed that she longer paid him any mind but only has eyes for the rock Samurai.

From day and night she would go into the garden and admire her Samurai, no longer feeling the need to travel far from her no longer lonely stone Samurai.

It was a strange thing because ever since the Samurai had come into her life, the amount of burglary attempts has lessened as if someone or something was watching over her. In fact every night it always seems as if an ever watchful but ever warm and protective set of eyes was on her.

One night as she was walking the garden she found that the Samurai was nowhere to be found in the centre of the garden where he usually was.  The

Samurai too was surprised for he was content in watching over her from afar and not really having to be with her.  Instead of fear and surprise she realizes at long last she was in love with him, he too was overjoyed and they talked from dusk till dawn. It was a happy occasion, but eyes watched from a corner of darkness with envy and hatred, which belonged to one of her suitors. Thinking that this new appearance was a new human suitor he plotted.

One night under the cover of darkness the suitor walks to find the Samurai.  With knife in hand he plunges it as hard as he could into the surprised stone warrior. The knife broke but did not shatter on impact leaving the suitor stunned and in fear for his life.  Unluckily for the maiden, she saw the whole thing and rushed to her Samurai’s aid, still acting in fear and not thinking straight, the suitor plunged the broken knife into the maiden's heart.

The blow was fatal and could not be taken back. In rage the Samurai struck with all the force in his body, killing the envious suitor instantaneously.

In his sorrow the Samurai held the beautiful girl in his arms weeping openly. For he had always known that the maiden had always been the Wind

Maiden that had left him behind but now was human who is now leaving him again.

As he held onto her the heavens open up, feeling sympathy to their plight, and granted their wishes to be together.

In the morning all they found was the dead body of the suitor, death from unknown circumstance, a bloodied knife in his hand but the maiden and the stone Samurai were nowhere to be found.

Together at last the heavens had granted their wishes as two gulls flying and travelling so far in the sky, until the day they will die.

The Golden Princess and the Dark Knight

"After all, all chunks of coals are diamonds in the rough"- Metha Metharom

Underneath the earth, lay two stones, one golden as the sun, the other as black as darkness.

Whether it be day or night, they would not know for they were mere rocks and rocks do not think.  However, like all things that exist a long time, they became sentient and thought of things that they never might.

In the darkness of the ground they know nothing but only of each other and they would chat all day and all night for they are stones and did not need to sleep like people might.

One day the ground decided to move and did not stop until the sky had shown through and this is important because this is where our story truly starts for the lovelock stones.

As soon as the world opens for the two stones, it defines their destiny, though they were once intertwined; now they will split. For the gold was truly beautiful and the coal ever so dark that no one would pay any heart.

The gold laying there was such a treasure that many come from far and wide to touch it, hold it and love it. At first the gold was enthusiastic but when it became just an adornment seen only for its external beauty it loses heart.

The coal on the other hand was nothing but fuel for fire so was eventually gone but in its heart it wishes for nothing but to be with the stone he sat next to since time first started.

Though the gold eventually moved from that land, and the coal that was missing became nothing but dust wished only to see his long life mate.  This was the first split in their destinies

Because the gold was loved such it wishes not to be something of adornment again in its next life.

Unfortunately for her she retains much of her beauty and once again reincarnates as a beautiful golden haired Princess but with one let down and that let down was a cold heart.

The Princess was fair and admired by all around. Suitors would come from far and wide and ask for her hand.  Though this pleases her ego she would shun them all for it did not please her soul.

For in her heart, she wishes not to be admired for her beauty but for her heart.

One day a Knight came from a far off land, he was dark of skin and rugged of face. He came to see an example of this beautiful golden Princess he has heard of in his own land.

He went to see her like all other suitors would, in that golden palace to set upon the pleasure of her face. But when he saw her, all he could see was emptiness in the soul. She looked at him as if he was dirt, or even like a piece of coal.

As he was introduced he said to her, "The beauty that other see, I see not there, for I rather would think much more beauty in a piece of coal than that fair face and golden hair.

Shocked and angered by this the King ordered him out the palace, but the Princess’ reply shocked the King more than it did the Knight. "You are the first, who says honestly, I do understand, for a coal’s usefulness does indeed outlast the glittery of my hair and beauty of my face."

This was the first time that the Knight realized he was in love with the fair Princess not out of beauty but out of intellect and wisdom.

This too was the same feeling from the Princess, but neither knew of the other’s thought so they kept the feelings at bay.

The Princess fell for the Knight but she kept far from him for she feared he hated her for her beauty so she kept a space.

The Knight too kept away indeed because of her beauty but not because of hate but rather of fear because of what he had said. But he promised himself that he would keep her safe from any dangerous fate.

In time a suitable match for the

Princess did come along in the form of another man, at least in the King’s eye, so on his order she was sent on a route to her final fate, as a wife and Queen of that other land.

The Princess’ heart breaks more than it should for she would not be able to spend any more time with her Dark Knight.

The Knight too locked his heart away, in its cell, throwing away the key. But he had a promise to keep so he will see to her keep.

In the morning, as she was on her way, she was surprised to see the Knight's face, in her entourage of guards, though this was not his land, he is there at her coach’s rear.

He did not speak to her or seek her out but kept a steady pace, and an unweeping face.

All of a sudden they were attacked, this was planned a long time ago, because of her beauty; slave drivers wanted her face to sell as goods for gold that they can gain.

The Knight did his best to protect her but as he made his way through the blades and arrows she was snatched away

Many of her entourage lay dead upon the ground and the Knight, though heavily wounded, went back to report to the King.

As the King heard the news he grew faint but kept strong in the face of his colleagues, he pleaded for help from the groom's side but, though willing, they were simply too far away. The other suitors too were the same; all feared for their lives and did not wish to lend a hand.

Disappointed by all of this the King collapsed by his grief. The Knight, though still heavily injured, went to him and said "Though she is not mine by right, I will bring her home, for I made a promise to protect her life at the cost of my own. I will see to her safety because the wish is in my heart, and she will be here by the morning, this promise to you I will make."

Riding on a new horse, he went on his way, his expertise in tracking finally found her trace. Under the cover of darkness, his skin hid him well, and because of this he made his way in.

On the outside edge of the camp, one by one he dispatched them all but she is held in the central tent where many are still blissfully drinking unaware.

The Knight has no choice but only to move forward, his presence alerts them to stand up tall.  Completely outnumbered but not giving up, he gritted his teeth and fought with the strength of ten.

One by one they lay at his feet but one by one his wounds would grow, but he would not fall for the Princess he would give his all.

Finally, all lay dying and dead at his feet, and he went into the tent to retrieve the Princess from her fate. The Princess was joyful but as soon as she saw him, but cries as he collapsed to his knees.

"I am sorry Princess that I come so late," said the Knight grinning broadly but his face far more pale than that of the moon. The Princess grabs hold of him and asks, "No, Dark Knight, please do not die, for it is you in this heart of mine that you have always lie."

The Knight perked up a bit but says seriously, "Take my horse Princess, and go your way my fate is done, but yours still lay, but perhaps if you truly wish it

I will wait for you at your fate's end."  With that his last breath came, his eyes glazed over and his face rolled to one side, never again to smile to her with his dark smile.

The Princess still crying did as she was bid. She rode home on the Dark Knight's horse to her father's land taking with her the Knight's words.

As she got home, her father came to see her and held her in his arms but was surprised to see her weep openly with her tears. She explained to him of the Knight’s sacrifice. But to her surprise and anger the King replied, "Do not pay such attention to such things my dear child, for you are like the gold that glitters forever and he the coal that has been burned away by the fire."

In her reproach, which stills her father, she says, "Yes you are right father, he is the coal and I am the gold, but it is the gold that creates so much greed and the coal, which got burnt by the fire, it is the coal that saved this Princess and not the greed driven suitors that you selected."

The King suddenly realizes his wrong but it was too late to recall the words, she left him there standing at the throne, unable to say any more than he already said.

Though that was their only fight, it will last but because of this the King became better and stopped insisting on choosing new suitors.

When the King finally died, she succeeded his throne, and became a Queen but she had cut off her hair so she no longer shone as she did before.  The Knight's sacrifice had given her heart warmth and she became known no longer as the golden Princess but the Golden Queen. Not because of her hair, for she is shaved bald, but because of her heart and honesty that beats any gold.

Finally she was at her fate's end and a large funeral was laid. But to everyone's surprise they could see a brief but fading image in the sky of a beautiful golden haired smiling woman in an embrace with a darkly handsome rugged man.

True to his words the Knight was there waiting for her at her fate's end. The Knight that was coal and the Princess that was gold, both stones in the beginning, one that glitters and shines while the other always overlooked but of more use than any other rocks could.

So ends the story of the Golden Princess and the Dark Knight.

The Giant Statue and the Mermaid

"A great man does not need to say but do, but sometimes an even greater man will have to stand up and say sometime" - Metha Metharom

Underneath the waves, and slightly exposed in the ocean floor there lies an unmoving relic of the past, a giant statue of an unknown god.

It has been there for eons, before the land it is on had sunk beneath the sea.  Because of its age it has gained thought, for how long it has been like this it does not know.  But for countless ages it had watched things live and watched things die, knowing only that immortality is loneliness.

Luckily for it corals and seaweed has grown on its head keeping its gaze left in a curtain of wavering darkness. It was blissful for it needs not see things live only to die again.

This was good for it until one day, something happened, something pulled off the corals and seaweed on its head, and then it saw it was a mermaid, one of the lesser immortal water deities. "I know you can see and hear me oh gentle rock but why do you hide away that handsome face?"

What business is it of yours, little mermaid your kind is nothing but grain of sands within the eternity of time,’ it wants to say but it has no tongue or lips to speak with, so it stays silent and grumbles in its mind wishing that the little pest would meander away.

But the pest did not go away, it merely in fact just pestered him day and night telling him this and that without any mind to just shut up and leave it alone.

Then one day, the mermaid did not come and stayed away for maybe a day or two or maybe even more it was not sure. It grumbles and growls, and then heard the noise from its lips, it was a surprise for it for it could in fact speak, for a while it reasoned to itself that it must be its age that had gained to it this power.

It thought so hard, it thought so deep, but every which way it had thought the mermaid would always come back in its head, now that she was gone, it felt loneliness worse than that it had felt before.

It did not know what was wrong but it felt a pang deep in its chest, and that was very far down underneath the seabed.

At that moment it decide to try and move but when it was about to the mermaid came, it seemed the little pest was back and excited and flushing at the face.

It was happy but it was still concerned but it did not say anything because the mermaid had made it feel something it had not felt before, it thinks to itself 'what is this, a heartburn that humans have spoken of, the very sight of her had bought this upon me, how there she flushes so cutely in front of my eyes, and how dare she speak so consistently, so rapidly and so loudly?'

It was a headache for the statue and it blamed it all on the swimming pest.  This of course was partially true but for it was the mermaid's fault that the statue for the first time had fallen in love, and it did not know of its own heart.

But all this good feeling that it felt suddenly vanished and broke into shards as soon as it could make heads or tails of the mermaid's words.

The mermaid had apparently found a handsome fisherman up above the sea, and they had talked for many a day. It ended with the fisherman wanting her to be his wife, and now she wants to know what it, the giant statue thinks.

It was filled with rage as never felt before, rage so hard that it bought a tremble in the area, as its hands reach out from under the seabed. In its rage it finally says "GO YOUR WAY, YOU

PEST OF A MERMAID, YOU

CHITTER AND CHATTER

CONSISTENTLY PAYING NO MIND TO MY NEED FOR SILENCE, GO YOUR WAY!" and it points its index finger at the ocean surface. "GO YOUR WAY AND PESTER ME NO

MORE!"

As soon the mermaid heard this, it swam hard up the surface, crying all the way there to find her suitor. All the mermaid wanted to hear was the truth from the giant statue. She had fallen in love with it the first time she had set eyes on it.

But now in her mind were the statue’s final words, "GO YOUR WAY!! AND PESTER ME NO MORE!!!" This was the truth, she thought, she was just a pest and all she had been doing was annoying her beloved.

Finding her way to the surface, she finally found the fisherman beaming with a smile, the handsome man knows he had won a prize, and he took her upon his little boat, and promise her the entire world he could give.

But in truth the fisherman had a sinister plan, to make not the mermaid his wife but use her as a show and gain all the gold he could get, she would be the main attraction that pulls the crowd, and with the crowd, more and more gold he would take, and no more hard work would be made by this lazy sinister fisherman.

Unknown time has passed and the statue regretted it every day, but it misses the little pest so it crept up on the far side of the fisherman's town, hoping to hear the news about his little pest, so it could finally have his peace of mind that she was safe and happy as he thought she would.

But when it got up to land, all it could heard was a song, a mermaid's song but it was terribly sad; so sad that it was breaking its heart.

It has heard the mermaid play its song many a time before, but it had always been happy tunes, that lightened its load, but all it could hear was this sadness and pain and all it wants to do was stop the pain.

So it sunk back into the dark waters, not knowing what to do, and tried to think of what to do next, perhaps the best thing was to watch and see developments.

So every night it would creep up on the far side of the town and perk its ears and eyes to listen and watch what is happening until one day it heard drunken voices coming from an inn.

"Oy....what a beauty she is, this catch of yours, she sings so well but I bet she would be even better in my loft, I will pay you a thousand gold for one night with her, what do you think oh fisherman?"

The statue was angry, for if it heard right they were speaking about his little pest, but what angered him more was this: "For 1000 gold, you can have her for three nights, bring her back safe and you get some return, what say you oh great rich one?"

The statue could stand no more of this but before it could react the words inside the inn turn to laughter and then cheers and then a scream from that little pest.  They carried her out in a big tank, cheering and jeering as they went.

There were more than two of them there was a whole group of maybe ten, they groped and grabbed at her body, tearing off their own clothes too, to do exactly what the statue feared.

With rage that it had kept for many, many days that it had let slip away for the love of his life. He leapt out of the water with a roar, causing a tidal wave to crash upon the shore.

The drunks were shocked to speechlessness, and completely sobered up as they trembled in their knees.

The Giant Statue stood more than ten foot tall, eyes glaring like some unearthed demonic entity, water steaming off its body in its heated rage.

The drunks let go of the tank, as they wet themselves from their fright.

As the giant statue's roar could be heard many came in throngs out of their houses and out of that sinister inn, but they did not stay for long as they saw a horror that was unimaginable in their minds.

They all would have stay rooted there in fear of their lives but when the giant statue smashed down its giant fist, the tremors caused their legs to uncontrollably move with a mind of their own.

They all could no longer think, but their legs surely could, for it seemed to them they have incurred the wrath of a god.

"THOUGH YOU CALL YOURSELF HUMANS; LOOK AT HOW INHUMANELY YOU HAVE TREATED HER, YOU ARE NOT HUMANS YOU ARE ALL MONSTERS," the giant statue spoke.

"I HAVE WATCHED YOU ALL EVER SINCE TIME BEGAN AND ALL YOU DO IS BICKER AMONGST YOURSELVES, CAUSING WAR WHEN IT BEFITS YOUR GAIN, HARMING OTHERS OUT OF SPITE AND TAKING BY FORCE WHAT IS NOT YOURS. I DESPISE YOU ALL, YOU LIVING PESTS!"

As the statue said those words he almost regrets them but then added gently while pointing with his index finger at the mermaid "BUT THIS PEST I DO LOVE, HARM HER AGAIN AND YOU WILL DIE, TRY TO HARM ANY OF US AND YOU WILL DIE, I WILL SAY NO MORE ON THIS."

With its right hand it scooped very gently the mermaid out of the tank and set her down within the sea, and slowly sunk down back into the ocean all the while glaring hard at the cowered throngs but before he sunk down completely he said, "FISHERMAN I KNOW WHO YOU ARE, I WILL ALWAYS BE WATCHING YOU!" and

it sunk back down into the sea.

Out of pure fear, the fisherman fell onto his knee grabbing his chest; his heart had stopped completely from the fright.

The throngs left the dead fisherman alone and the very next day they all leave, for they all reason that this place was haunted and they would rather be leaving alive than stay here and be dead.

The fisherman's skeleton is still there as a reminder for everyone to see in the now desolate town.

But for the two immortals under the seabed, it was happy bliss at least for one side, for the mermaid kept chatting away happily to her founded love. But for the statue he wondered if he made the right decision for he thinks if she does not stop, his ears will fall off.

But that is all for this little tale about the Giant Statue and the Mermaid.

The Volcano Deity and the Stone Sprite

"Life without love, is really not much of a life." - Metha Metharom

On a small island not far away, separated from civilization, lies a huge dormant volcano.

It has been rumbling for centuries upon centuries building up its heat and energy.

Within the centre of the volcano, is a small trickle of magma, running outward.

Not far from that trickle a tiny stone sits, it too had been there for countless centuries.

From the little trickle of magma was a small fiery woman. She is the Volcano Deity, her present form was stunted by the volcano’s current dormancy.

For countless centuries she had seen and spoken to the one single Stone Sprite who sat not far from her little trickle of magma but for some reason he would never answer.

"Why do you stand here all year long, neither moving nor saying one word?" She would ask.

"Yes, the stone may have given you life but now that you are a Sprite, you may move independently away from it at your will," she tells it.

And then silence would follow for he would not say.

But she would continue still to say, "If you stay, you will be burned by me and by my fire, just as your rock will melt away into me."

And as a complete shock to her, the Stone Sprite would smile, almost a knowing smile but would say no more on the matter.

"Why do you smile so? What is so funny? Bah!" She nearly burst into flame.

But the Stone Sprite merely smiled again.

"You may be a Sprite but you are also male, and all male have done nothing but done wrong toward me, you are the same!" she yells.

For centuries he never said a word until now, "Why do you say so oh fiery lady of mine?"

She is shocked by this sudden break of silence but even more so toward him calling her his own.

"Why do you say such? Why do you decide to speak now?" she says so at him

The Stone Sprite merely shrugged it off and remained silent as if waiting for a reply.

Steaming a little bit, but the Volcano Deity decided to answer anyway. "Very well I will answer your question but when it is done, you will answer mine.  If you do not do so I will destroy you and all the villagers in kind," and without waiting for an answer she continued.

"A long time ago back when I was human, a man once said that he would protect me with all his life, he broke his promise and let me die."

The Sprite looked solemn but nodded as if waiting for the Deity to continue onward.

So the Deity continued onward, "Back then I lived in a village, and the times were hard, and in this village they believed that by sacrificing a young virgin they would appease a God that did not exist. The man had said he would protect me with his own life but did nothing and let me die."

"Because of my need for vengeance, the hate I felt for that man and the villagers turned inward toward my spirit, and because of the age of the volcano it granted me the power to become its Deity and I am now it’s one and only Deity. I can command it as I please and do as I wish."

"Now it’s your turn to answer my question; why do you stay here when you could go?" She asks him.

With a solemn smile he finally says, "It is nothing but a very similar answer much like your own."

Angered at his answer, and unable to accept it, she burst into flame, causing the volcano to rumble and the trickle of magma under her became a sudden stream. "I cannot accept what you say, and because of this, I will take vengeance upon thee and all villagers in kind"

Though the pool of magma started to grow, the Stone Sprite merely says, "That is fine by me, for I do not wish to live, it is my fault that you had to suffer this fate, but the villagers of now are not the villagers of that day, they should not be blamed for this."

Stunned and confused at the Stone Sprite’s words, she said nothing for more than a minute. This time the Stone Sprite took this as his queue.

"Yes, this is my fault that this is your fate, I was the one who failed you in your past. I was the cowardly man who could not say and did not die at the same time as his love did, and for that I am sorry for my sin, but please do not harm these new villagers for whatever they did, they are not the same as the criminals from before, let them be and let it go."

Suddenly pained by his words, "I cannot...why do you say this now, and you know because of your crime, even if I do not destroy those villagers I will destroy you for that crime you have committed."

He said "I accept those very sins, I take it upon my shoulder to be destroyed by the anger of your fire, you ask me why I am here, I can say now this to thee."

"I love thee, oh beautiful volcano Deity of mine. I love you so much that I wish upon the heaven that I be turned into this so that I could wait for my punishment for my wrong to you, or until such day that you could let go and finally be free of this infernal fate that is worse than death."

He continued on "Either destroy me and let these villagers go or please come with me and finally let go."

With those words the Volcano Deity started to cry, the flame around her start to disappear, until her fiery form turned back to that beautiful human form, her anger had disappeared but the result of her anger had not.

"Why do you tell me now, when you could have told me before?" she asks. "If you had told me before, your life would have been spared for it is too late

to stop this process, the lava is already up to your feet, you will die if you do not leave, nothing will happen to me for I am its Deity but you are nothing but a small Stone Sprite."

"Even if you say that, this fate is fine. I have waited a long time, but with this as the fire burns me away, I will melt into you and become one with your volcano until the end of time, and I will be together with you in eternity if you wish so for me to be," he said to her.

She cried some more and said "But I no longer want to be part of this infernal hell. Let us go together away from this fiery place and be free together as we can always be."

"Oh well, in that case, let us flee, for truth to say I would rather not die, but really you got to be quicker with your words, if death you do not wish upon me," he said with a smile.

And the Stone Sprite sprouted wings from his back, for he was an angel and not a Sprite. He had waited for her for a long time, and would have waited for eternity but really, really he did not want to die, so quickly he took her away and off they flew.

Surprised and shocked by this she kicked him hard, but too hard that he almost dropped her back to the ground, but in any case as she frightfully clung to him, he laughed it off and took her up through the gateway of the heavens above. While the volcano sits dormant once again, wondering what the heck was making such a ruckus in its bowels, what a day it thinks but at least it had the companion of the sea.

And so the volcano chuckled to itself while trying very hard to woo the sea but oh well that’s another story but this is the end of the Volcano Deity and the Stone Sprite.

Tales from the Shore

The Prospector and the Toucan Lady

"Love is the greatest treasure you shall find."- Metha Metharom

Somewhere on the open sea, a ship makes its way to an island.

This ship is led by a prospector and he comes with a map.

The map supposedly leads to a forgotten gold mine, the ultimate treasure.

The ship finally drops anchor and a small boat is dropped into the sea. The crew gathered in it and it began to make its way to the shore.

Leading the way the prospector stood referencing the map while pointing his way to the shore.

The boat finally landed with a whump and the prospector clambered out with the rest of his men.

He looked this way and that trying to make sense of the map. "According to this," he said as he pointed at the map, "it should be very close to here."

No matter how much he and his men looked no gold could be found.

Then a sound came, the loud cawing of a bird, very loud and very clear which totally distracted him and his men.

The prospector, surprised by the sound, quickly made his way to where the noise was coming from.

Into the surprisingly dense forest he walked, he tripped and stumbled on his way to the source of the commotion.

When he got there he finally saw it was a Toucan that was making the infernal sound.

He grabbed a stick from the ground and swung it at the Toucan hoping to scare it away but, instead, the Toucan merely jumped from its perch only to land on his shoulder and continue to scream in his ears.

He lurched and stumbled but the

Toucan would not let go but as he did so he found himself stumbling onto the ground face to face with his gold.

There he lay, on his chest, looking straight at a golden nugget. The very thing he was looking for, the only thing he was looking for.

Though still perched on the prospector’s shoulder the Toucan was silent, as if it was a sign from above that this miracle had happened.

No matter how much he tried the

Toucan would not go away so he just left it at that and let it stay.

When he walked out of the forest, with the nugget in hand and the Toucan on his shoulder, the people shouted hooray at the find but gave him questioning looks.

He just shrugged and said, "Yes, the Toucan is my good luck charm, it is the reason I found the gold."

The men merely shrugged but still gave him strange looks.

Though to him it was clearly a lie, however, in reality, he would not know how true those words were.

The men took to working and tracked down the prospector’s path where they began to mine the gold.

Apparently the mine itself was not far from the spot where the prospector had fallen.

And soon they were almost overburdened by the loot. They would have to make many trips back and forth to the shore.

All this time the prospector was carrying the Toucan on his shoulder.

Finally it was time for them to make their way home.

When they were on the open sea, and the men were merry, they sang and danced and most of them drunk.

Then all of a sudden the Toucan began to scream.

The drunken men did not care for such a noise and therefore did not care for him either.

They threatened to throw it off the boat if the bird would not shut up.

From the drunken jeers and threatening stances the prospector ran for his cabin where he finally locked himself and the noisy Toucan in.

Out of nowhere the sky began to rumble and everything began to change.

A hurricane was suddenly formed which caused such a downpour and flooded the deck.

The ship wobbled this way and that as if about to tip over, all the while the Toucan continued to cry.

When the storm finally relented the prospector opened his door. Only a few sailors were left for most has been swept away by the heavy wind and rain.

The remaining men, remembering his earlier words, finally believed in the luck of the Toucan and so did he for without the bird his life would not have been saved.

Days later, on the sea on a night of a full moon, the prospector found himself feeling restless and thus found himself on the deck.

Sometime later would he realize that the bird was no longer on his shoulder and was nowhere to be found.

As he walked the deck he saw a figure leaning on the railing. It was a beautiful dark skinned woman and he found himself falling in love at first sight.

The woman, surprised by his sudden appearance, nearly fell over the railing.

But she did not fall for he appeared suddenly very close to her stopping her fall.

They were face to face and there was an uncomfortable silence and she found herself to be falling deeply in love with him again.

For she was the Toucan that had perched on his shoulder earlier in the day; by night her curse was lifted and she would become a woman.

Neither of them made a move and merely stared at each other. Both returning each other’s feelings but by the morning the prospector was found lying on the deck with the Toucan perched on his shoulder.

When he finally woke he tossed the dream away determined to use logic to explain what had happened.

What happened last night were a dream and a figment of my imagination, he thought.

They had finally reached civilization with the Toucan still perched on his shoulder.

With new found riches came fame. With fame came new credibility. With those things he became equal to a Lord and many young women flocked to his side.

Then he saw the girl he had seen in his dream and he fell instantaneously in love with her again but, for some reason, the Toucan was even louder than before.

Blinded by love, he would not listen to his Toucan and the young woman soon moved in with him.

The Toucan was pried away and put in a cage but, for some reason, this would not stop its cry.

So he put it away in a room on the other side of the mansion so its cry could never be heard but the Toucan could not stop crying

For the woman was a demoness who had stolen her form and was doing everything in her power to steal the riches from the prospector.

One day, the Toucan cried itself hoarse to the point that blood came from its beak.

Finally it lay still on the floor of its cage almost dead but still crying.

Later that night the prospector had a dream that his beloved lay dead at his feet; stuck in a cage and was crying herself to death.

Stumbling about he found his way to the other side of the mansion and there inside the cage the Toucan lay very still.

No! This is my fault, he thought and then the lie shattered and then and there the spell that was earlier cast upon him was finally broken and he held the dying Toucan to his chest.

A tear formed and fell on the dying bird, one drop was all it took and the bird transformed back into the woman.

From the other side of the mansion the demoness screeched, the fiery thing ran to where they were for when the spell was lifted she was turning back to the vicious thing she was.

But there was nothing the demoness could do to them for the love they had was too strong and she was banished.

However, his love came too late and the woman in his arms slipped away.

He cried and cried until an angel appeared.

The angel said, "There is a chance that she can be saved but for this to happen you must toss everything away even this life you live." He then added, "Do

you accept?"

The prospector knows not what he speaks but “Yes,” he replied, and the deal was done.

The darkness swept over him and all of a sudden he found himself on a boat holding onto a map.

He was given a second chance and this time around he would find his treasure, his true love and not the riches.

He made his way into the forest where the Toucan was perched crying out its heart. He merely offered her his shoulder and made his way back to the

boat totally disregarding the nugget in his path.

He lived out his entire life again only this time with his Toucan by his side, though she never did turn back into a woman he kept at her side, never rich and never poor he made his lot in life.

Then he felt it, someone had shaken his shoulder. He was lying down facing up looking straight at her face, she was crying in deep joy for he had indeed thrown his life away.

He looked up and there was the Angel. "You see none of the reliving of your life had happened, it was a test of worth and you did well."

He looked around and said, "I want not these treasures the only thing I ever needed was here,” and now he held the crying woman to his chest.

In the end he gave it all away so he was no longer rich in terms of gold but he was indeed rich in terms of love.

The Island and the Sea

"Some love can take you across the ocean." - Metha Metharom

There is a small island far from any coast. It is surrounded in all directions by a vast open sea.

As far as it remembers it has always been. To keep it company are only a few living things, some rocks and some sand.

Its only true companion was the sea which surrounded it completely.

By everything that the rocks, sand, trees and a few monkeys knew they could tell that the island was menial and boredom would continuously set in.

The sea on the other hand would tell it of the various places it visits, the sea monsters and adventures by brave heroes who traverse across it. This was the best thing that the open sea had to offer.

But the island wishes for more instead of hearing about it and wanted to experience it.

So one night upon a falling star its wish was granted and the island in its next life was born as a boy, a boy on a ship’s dock.

The boy was handsome, full of vigour and curiosity, which would win him many friends.

However, on the dock, there would be one girl, who would always sit there and watch over him, she did not have many friends and she was sickly but because she always watched over him, he would always watch over her.

So in making his decision he approached her and said, "I will make you a deal, when I grow up and become stronger I will become an adventurer of great renown and each time I come back I will tell you a great story so you must stay well for me so that I may return."

So when he grew older, he did indeed became strong and a mighty adventurer of the sea.

The girl, his closest friend, remained at the dock always waiting to hear of his stories upon his return.

The man would venture forth to deal with pirates, sea monsters and forces of nature and each time he would return to that small dock only to tell her of his adventure on the open sea.

The girl, now a young woman and even though she was still sickly, would always wait for his stories for it was their promise together that she would stay well so that he would return.

Though this arrangement worked well…the woman's health still failed her because her true feelings were that she was in love with the man and not the stories he would bring.

The man did not know this and his adventures would take him further and further across the ocean, farther and farther away from the young woman.

This was so that he may bring back even more daring tales from across the sea.

But the thing was though the stories were much more adventurous each time the journey would take longer, and thus each time he would take longer to get back to the dock and to her.

The young woman would stay at home and pine for the young man getting sicker and sicker for she was not being true to her heart.

On his longest journey yet and the most daring, he looks forward to seeing her face and tell her his story once more.

Though he did not know it he too was in love with the young woman at the dock.

But when he was on his journey back the sky grew dark, and it was the biggest storm that ever hit.

On the open sea he and his crew fought the wrath of nature and he would eventually win but at the cost of more time.

Time which the young woman does not have for she was becoming so sick she could no longer stand.

As he fights through the storm the young woman fights through her sickness in hopes of seeing him once again.

As he got through the storm, he encountered a savage sea monster and he fought hard though now battle worn, he continued on his way only so that he may see her once again.

The young woman became sicker and sicker but she fought hard and managed to stay conscious.

Just as he was about to reach home, pirates appeared, blocking his path and he was “at his rope's end”.

The young woman did her best but she could fight no more and lost consciousness.

He was tired and ragged from the many fights and could barely stand up when he heard the news that she was deep in sleep.

He had fought these things long and hard only to come back to find out she was nearly dead.

There was no longer any point to his adventures if she was not there to hear them.

With a realization that he was in love with her and not the adventures was too late and he sunk into deep despair.

He loved her so dearly that he let out a cry into the sky hoping that the heavens would listen.

And the heavens did listen, as it always had, for his love was pure.

It granted him his wish though the young woman did not waken her condition got better.

That was all he needed and he stayed day and night by her side to make sure she would get better.

One day she finally wakes to find him there and she was half expecting him to tell her his stories but instead he took her in his arms and held her.

She began to speak but he silenced her and said, "Though I have travelled many oceans and many seas, I would rather be with you as your island in the sea, never will I travel more for the biggest adventure is being beside you always."

The girl smiled and accepted his words for she in fact was the sea that used to tell him the equally amazing stories when he was an island and she was the sea.

The Crab and the Gull

"Love can come in the most unexpected form." - Metha Metharom

On a small island there sits a rock and under the shade of a rock is a small sand crab.

Whenever it needs food it comes out from the shade of the rock.

However, the shade does not only provide shelter, it also provides protection.

As it comes out to hunt so too does the seagull.

The crab is considered a food source for the gull.

As they scuttle about searching for food, the gulls peck at the crab and it would scuttle back underneath the shade of the rock.

This would happen on a daily basis.

Because it happens so much the crab is not bothered by it.

One gull, however, would chase, peck and prod at it with more fervour than the others.

This, of course, is the sole worry of the little crab.

One day the crab grew tired of this and asked, “Why do you peck at me so, when many a time you could have eaten me?”

And the gull said, “Because of the mere fact that I want to do this.”

Confused by the answer the little crab grows frustrated.

Day by day it would continue on.

The crab would scuttle out and then quickly scuttle back in as the one gull, out of the many, would peck and prod at it with more energy than the others.

Then there came a day that a ship wrecks on the shore of the lonely island.

As the ship is being fixed the humans, for some reason, took away the rock.

The little crab is now bereft of its home and protection.

The only other place that the little crab considers as safe is too far away underneath the cliff face but she can burrow into the sand below

The gulls seeing that the little crab now has nowhere to go come at it with more energy than ever before.

It scuttles about every which way but it knows it cannot escape for long.

It nearly gives up when it was suddenly lifted into the air, it knew this to be its last day.

But this was not the last day for within a few seconds later it was dropped near a hole in front of the cliff face.

It was the lone gull that would peck and prod at the little crab with more fervour than the others.

The crab scuttled into the hole and looks up to thank the gull.

But the other gulls have seen the obvious betrayal and turn their attack toward the lone gull.

In the end there was a lot of blood and feathers on the sand, but the rest of the gulls were gone.

The crab, seeing that the fight was over, scuttles back out onto the beach only to find the lone gull dying on the sand.

Why did you help me?” the crab asked.

Do you not know?” asked the dying gull.

It was a rhetorical question for the crab did know, the gull had poked and prodded at it with more fervour than the others for the same reason it had protected the crab.

It was love…pure and simple love.

But it was too late for the gull lay dead at the crab's feet.

The crab turns upward and wishes with all it's might that one day it can meet the gull again.

A century later, on the very same shore, a woman with crab pattern on her dress paddles in her boat waiting for a fish to bite.

As she can feel the tug on her line, a small plane swoops past her causing her to lose her line.

On the plane was painted a picture of a seagull.

So it came to pass that the little crab's wish was granted.

Into the Stars Above

The Fisherman and the Moon

“The love that you seek is often inside your heart.” - Metha Metharom

On a lonely night, on a solitary boat sits a lone fisherman waiting for his line to be caught.

All he has for company is the blinking stars and the ever bright glowing moon.

It was one of those nights where not only was he alone he too felt alone.

He had no family and he had no kin, no one to hold and no one to share his pain.

All he has was his fishing job and the ever glowing moon.

What was the point to all this? He thought despairingly.

Welling with misery he made a decision. He stood up and walked to the side of the boat.

But as he was about to jump clouds billowed past…covering the moon in its entirety leaving him in total darkness.

He stood there on the edge of the boat while the wind rocked the boat gently to and fro not knowing where to go.

Then a voice came from behind him. “Why do you wish to take your life fisherman?”

He turned around suddenly only to find himself in the presence of a glowing beautiful woman in a plain white dress.

He stares at her for a time and then she says, “I have watched you on many a lonely night just as you have watched me, why now would you take your life and not before?”

Why lady of the night, why do you think I would? Many a nights I sit alone on this boat by myself with no others and there is no point to me at all.”

I understand perfectly your loneliness for I have long wished to be with another but can not do so.” says the lady.

He raises his eyebrows but she continues, “For he is the sun and I am the moon, there is no way that we would meet unless during an eclipse, but the wait is worth it in the end.”

He chuckles a bit at this, “No you do not understand my pain for though you do sit alone you have someone to go to at the end while I have nothing aside from this you are also of use for you shine your light in the darkness so that others can make their way while I am just a fisherman barely making my way.”

She smiles at this, “No fisherman you are also of use too, remember this… without you where would people get food to eat, if they had naught to eat would they not be dead? You have your role and I have mine, what you lack, however, is the love you have inside.”

Realizing the truth in this the fisherman fell to his knees, inside his head he always knew that the love he seeks was inside of he.

Before he could reply, the clouds billow away and the brightness returns to the water once more.

Looking up the moon seems to wink and says, “Remember only when you love yourself will others come to love you also,” and the moon seems to smile at him from above.

He sits back on his boat only to realize his line had caught and up he brings a struggling mermaid.

He was surprised and so was she but when they saw each other he did know this was indeed what the moon had said.

Remembering one of the stories told long ago he decided what was best was to let her go.

She looks up and openly smiles, “I am their daughter so do not mind, I am yours if you wish it so but just don't anger my father or he will have your head,” and with that she swam away.

And every night he would come to fish on the no longer lonely water to meet his love and her often angry giant statue of a father.

And each night he would look up and be thankful of the moon who taught him to love himself before another will come to love him.

The moon too would smile downward to her favourite fisherman knowing at last he had found someone.

The Thief and the Night

“Sometimes the very thing you have been seeking has always been beside you”- Metha Metharom

Under the cover of darkness a lone figure slowly made his way through the window of a small manor.

Silently he padded to the make-up cabinet.

Opening the dress drawers he pilfers its treasures and off he went, out the window, the thief into the night.

Looking at the goods in his hands he knew he would be fed well again for these baubles are nothing more than play things for the rich but invaluable substance for his living.

Each night he would go out covered in the night’s cloak of darkness and steal away his goods and every night would be perfect.

It was a bad thing he had no charm nor did he have looks nor did he have any other skills.

So for him it was the life of a thief, the only way for him.

The night did not care about this nor did it matter if he did right or wrong all that mattered is that she covered him in her darkness and he will be fine.

The thief realizes it was a selfish thing he was doing…breaking into people's homes but he needed to make a living somehow and this was his only way that he could see at least.

Every night he would be happy with his lot in life but fate would one day decide that this was not enough.

One day there was a parade in the city where some nobleman and his family was visiting. Spying from the rooftop he saw a young woman, the daughter of the nobleman and his heart burst asunder.

Making his way on the rooftop he followed their pathways and sought out where they will stay.

A small manor house just like the one he many a night would pilfer from he did spy. But for now he would recede back to the shadows and make his move later in the night.

On nightfall the lone figure leapt from rooftop to rooftop seeking his prize.

He comes not for gold or treasures but for the love he feels in his heart.

Pausing only briefly to dodge away from the guards he made his way to the window sill of the woman he fell for.

Slowly he pried the window open and made his silent entry. Cloaked in night he laid on the side of her bed many jewels and…flowers he picked that night.

Knowing that in his heart she would awaken and see the magnificent sight.

At daybreak the thief would be gone but what have been left were the jewels and flowers resting by the young woman's side.

When she awakened she was struck by the treasures she had found as well as the magnanimous flowers by her side.

The young woman would look at it day and night believing that she found a perfect suitor at long last.

For six days and six nights her bed would be littered with jewels and flowers and a card proclaiming love.

And in her mind she would think how handsome and rich her suitor must be to bring her such things.

So on the seventh day she decided she would stay up and she would surprise her suitor with her acceptance of his love.

And on that very night she did just that, and when it was time the thief clothed in shadows would walk through the cover of night and place the goods on her bed.

But as he did so the young woman quickly clasped his arm unwilling to let go.

The thief tried his hardest to get away but to no avail.

The woman then said, “So you are the one, my beloved of the night. Please show me your handsome face so that I may be one with you tonight”.

Hearing such a proclamation, the thief reacted. Puffing his chest and stepping out into the moonlight only to see a look of terror on her face.

Through the night she would scream “Thief! Trespasser! Rapist!” Alerting the guards of his presence.

The thief hearing this quickly ran to the window with bitterness in his heart.

He may be a thief, a trespasser but no rapist, was his love misplaced and was it that he no longer could see what the truth is?

Quickly he jumped onto the street but to his dismay many guards were on their way.

Arrows flew out and hit him in the back and he was sorely wounded.

More come flying by…hitting him in the leg and both arms, bleeding heavily he tries to make his way home.

His eyes were losing focus and losing the light, a few more steps and he would be gone.

He rounded the wrong corridor and found himself face to face with the guards and the moonlight made him very noticeable.

He knew he was at his last when darkness came all at once like a curtain had been dropped.

In that darkness he heard the guards yell out trying to find their way but he did not care for he had fallen to the ground, blood seeping from his wounds.

He looked up at the night only to find a woman standing before him, cloaked in total darkness, her clothing black.

He stared at her and knew who she was, the one who had always cloaked him until he discarded her away.

She did not say anything but merely looked knowingly in his eyes.

But in his mind he heard it all, 'Be well my thief for I am the night, I will take thee away from this plight’.

When the curtain lifted the thief was gone and the only thing left was the bloodied arrows protruding from the ground.

The guards look around in their dismay unable to find even a trace of the fallen trespasser.

The young woman now knows her mistake and realizes then that her suitor was a thief and with that in mind cried tears of woe.

She had been courted by a thief and a commoner and she almost accepted what a shameful thing she could have endured.

But for some reason the young woman would look around, always searching for the one.

And from that came a legend of the thief of the night who steals a young girl’s heart. But what of the thief you may ask?

He is neither here nor there anymore for he is finally with the night, she who has always been with him and forever will be.

The Angel and the Priest

“Love will eventually come to all those who wait.” - Metha Metharom

As a young boy he would sit in the rose garden and smell its scent.

No one would understand why he was there and not out to play.

The rose garden sits in a small churchyard, where people would come and go.

It was here that he met her…the Angel of the Rose.

She had fluttered down from the heaven above to care for the budding roses for it was her duty and here she would end up gazing at the young boy who would become a man.

I see you,” he had said to her the first time he saw her.

The Angel was astounded and spread her wings and leapt back into the sky taking with her all her beauty, all her grace.

And each day the young boy would come and wait for the Angel to return.

And every day the Angel would return for it was her duty to look after the roses and each day the young boy would say, “I see you,” while smiling knowingly.

And every time as he did that the Angel would flee from the place not certain why she would do such.

As time went by the young boy would become a young man and yet still he would come to the church and study the way.

But on every visit on daybreak he would visit the rose garden, only to say “I see you,” to the flustered Angel.

The Angel not really sure anymore why she comes, whether it is to see the young man or the roses.

The years gone passed once again, and the young man became an older man, now a Priest.

Never once laying his eyes on any women folk but always coming to the rose garden and say, “I see you.”

Every day he would make his sermon at mass and people would come from far and wide to hear him speak.

For the Priest has a strong heart and is one with his faith.

The Priest became so busy that he would hardly have any time to see the rose garden but yet each morning he would make his way there just to say those same words, “I see you.”

And the Angel now knows she was no longer here to see the rose but the man who had become a Priest.

The years would pass once more and the Priest was now old.

And each and every day he would say to her the Angel in his heart, “I see you.”

And every day she would wait for him to arrive at the rose garden to say: I see you to her.

For in truth as she looked at him, she saw him too.

Then one day the Priest did not come so the Angel became worried.

The Priest was sick for he was old, but he fought all that even though he should be in bed he came to see, in the rose garden, the Angel.

With the last of his strength he mustered three more words as he looked into her face, “I see you.”

Then he fell to the ground and as she held his prone body to her's she says, “I see you too.”

With that the Priest did smile and his soul was gone.

The Angel started to weep and then something tapped her shoulder.

It was the Priest or at least his soul. He looked at her while smiling smugly and then said, “I see you.”

And then the Angel did know that what he meant what was not that he sees her but rather he loves her.

And together the Angel and the Priest made their way to heaven together.
