Hi Divinity,
Sounds like you are doing great! Cheese is a hard one for a lot of people transitioning, but after a while, you totally forget about it and move on. There's some amazing vegan cheeses now like Daiya or cashew cheese. I like to make my own cheese sauce with nutritional yeast and buy the occasional Daiya. Almond milk is great too! I eat some packaged food and some processed foods (like organic seasoned tempeh), but I make sure that most of my plate is always filled with whole foods - beans, vegetables, nuts and seeds. I avoid artificial chemicals and flavours and I also avoid GMOs and buy almost all organic food. Things like Daiya or some of the organic mock meats can be very useful to people transitioning to a new diet, so I say try them if you need them. Remember, it's about the overall diet - do you eat the majority of your food from whole sources? Are you eating lots of fresh veggies and fruit? If you answer yes, then great!
For the cleanse, you would definitely get that "reset" feeling from the juice feast! It's great way to start from fresh and assist your body - it is intense and can be very healing. I think it would be ideal for what you are looking for.
The herbs are great support for the body when you are cleansing too. Remember to plan to be less active than usual during a cleanse or juice feast because your body needs to concentrate on the process.

Water Being .. I have been reading and watching youtubes about it constantly, and something has me half and half about it, because I've read how it's not reccomended, yet some people really claim it as something great. I actually love flaxseed and grind 4 tbsp daily!! i'm a huge water drinker to begin with, and I do pretty well at staying faithful to mainly fresh vegs and fruit, I crave protein a lot, so I eat the heck out of lentils, and either black or red beans, accompanied with rice, and I do eat packaged bread, usually a 'healthy' choice, i've been buying one lately that has flaxseed incorporated in it. I eat fish and chicken, and there are times I've gone without any meat AT ALL, and after a few days just the smell of any kind of meat, particularly red can send repulsions through me, UGH. I partake in NO dairy, no eggs, no milk, BUT .. my main weakness in life, is cheese! lol i love cheese and crave it so much. I don't eat it everday, i force myself not to, but sometimes I don't allow myself to resist and I know it's so bad for me. I drink almond milk bought from the store .. and I love it. I'm unsure how healthy it is seeing as though it does come from a packaged carton .. so there is a level of processing to it. I've actually heard of dandelion root and the milk thistle, there's a tiny local health food store here in this town and they have a good liver cleanse with all those herbs in it, i'm wondering if I shouldn't just buy that instead of the lemonade diet kit.

My main goal ~ is to do something forceful and INTENSE to my system, to wipe out and completely reset my system from all toxins. If I juice feast for about 7 days, nothing more than vegetables in juicing, will that detox me intensely the way I want???

Hi Divinity, I worked at a health food store and learned a lot about cleanses from my time there, as well as from my own research. The Master Cleanse isn't recommend because it's a starvation diet with the maple syrup being the only thing that really keeps your body going. While lemon is great for your liver and kidneys, you can get benefits from it without the extremes. I would recommend a juice feast: http://www.jointhereboot.com/plans/. If you sign up via email, you can access free plans and recipes on that site. Juice feasting gives your body a break. Plus it helps remineralize and revitalize your whole system without putting the body in starvation mode. It also helps "reset" your taste buds. Even 3 days can have quite an effect. The important thing though is you will be getting nutrients and calories to assist your body through its process.
Remember, your body is constantly cleansing and in a state of getting rid of metabolic and external toxins. It requires fiber and water to properly eliminate internal toxins everyday. You can assist this process by eating enough fiber from plant foods, adding chia or flax at least once a day, drinking plenty of filtered water and gentle exercise. Several herbs are also beneficial to help support your body's natural detox systems - milk thistle tincture to assist the liver and dandelion root to assist the kidneys.

Hi All~ ~ I am very self-educated about eating healthy. I have my weaknesses that I still allow in myself at times, but for the most part maintain a healthy diet. I have never done an intense cleanse before, and want to try my first one, like a complete RESET button for my entire body system then strive to become 100% vegatarian. I have been doing lots of research on the MASTER CLEANSE also known as the lemonade diet. Has anyone experienced this theirself? If I were to ask anyone in their opinion what would be the best total body cleanse, what would you recommend to me?

Hi Mr. Ed. Congrats on meat free and glad to hear you've stopped eating meat and sea creatures.

I have to disagree with you though about dairy and eggs. Male cows from the dairy industry are killed very young for meat (veal) and male chicks from the egg industry are killed right after birth. Once a dairy cow is no longer useful, she is killed for meat. Same with hens. You can read a lot about the plight of all farm animals online.

People go vegan to minimize direct and indirect harm to animals. When you consume dairy and eggs, you are still directly contributing to an industry where creatures are killed solely for human use.

I know great desert made by carrots...

1kg carrots

500ml milk

200g shugar

You shred the carrots than you put them in the milk and the sugar and you boil it as long as there is no milk in the pot and everything is gummy.Than you take it out and shape the carrots in balls.

P.S. It is really good if you put little bit more sugar and let it burn..it tastes like caramel.
