“Upon this Rock”
Write the whole of the scriptures of this statement concerning His church, please.
13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? 14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. 15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. 18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Matt 16:13-18 (KJV)
This has been one of the most widely misunderstood scriptures of the Bible caused by faulty translation. The word in the original text was, in translation, “Petros” (masculine) which literally means “stone” or “piece of a rock”.
The word translated again as “rock” in the phrase, “upon this “rock” I will build my church” is the feminine form “petrA” of the masculine “petros” translated sixteen times in the scriptures as “rock”, singular, a whole “rock” or “boulder” while “petros’, translated in this scripture as “Peter”is translated 161 times as “stone”. (a small pebble or piece of a rock, not the whole rock! The word translated as “Peter” is “petros”, the same word translated 161 times as a stone. The “rock” upon which Christ will build his church is the feminine word “petrAs”, not the same word as the word for Peter. They are anonyms and to use them as the sme word is total mistranslation and any translator should know better. This scripture is the main authority the Roman church is built upon.
Peter was not head of the church. The scriptures clearly tell you that James was head of the church at Jerusalem which was the main church or head church. Peter was not given the keys, the keys were given to every believer and the meaning of that scripture is that it was not Peter himself but the revelation given him by the Father that the church, the true spiritual Body of God is to be built on. That is the revelation of who and what you are in God.
The church as Paul described it, is the Body of God. You come back into union with God by revelation not by joining any religion, church or organization. The true church is not an organization on the matter level it is a spiritual body of believers united in spirit and truth with the Creator God.
So the literal translation should have read, “thou art a “stone” and upon this “massive rock” (of revelation such as Peter received) I will build my church.”
Let us remember who translated the ancient scriptures and where they were kept hidden from the common people for so many centuries. Also, let us remember who and where the so-called sacred canon was decided upon that you call the Bible. What about the equally true Gnostic gospels that equalize the woman with the man? Why were they not placed with the Sacred writings especially the Gospel of Thomas with the exact words of Jesus Christ? Where are the words of his wife, gospel of Mary Magdelaine? How many know the early church believed in reincarnation? There is some proof left in the Bible your modern day preachers explain away. If it were not believed by the early church why did the Roman church remove that belief and replace it with eternal damnation in the Council of Trent? (Check that council for me and make sure I’m right, Valana.)
A religious organization that bases its authority upon the mistranslation of that scripture and advocated the torture and burning to death of thousands of innocent Pagans that refused to bow the knee to a false gospel in not nor cannot be the church (called out ones) of Jesus the Christ.
Tormenting innocent children and women until they admitted intercourse with a devil, when the Pagan community has never even considered the reality of a devil, and to justify it in any way is beyond my understanding.
We are not wanting to fight with any organization but simply present the truth of the sacred western scriptures. However, in doing so we must understand truth is truth.
While understanding there are very spiritual and good people involved and the modern church world has changed exceedingly we must look to the vision of John the Beloved in his Revelation given him on the Isle of Patmos when he spoke of the great harlot sitting on seven hills that would be cast down into the pit with all her children.
We are not a religious organization, church, cult nor secret order and none of my teachings are to be used to start one. They are given freely for all mankind of the planet.
Beloved Yeshua did not build His church upon a mortal man but upon the revelation given to that man that He was the Christ, Son or manifestation of God to the Earth.
It has been said, and rightly so, that if you want to know what God is like, look at Jesus. I believe Benny Hinn made this statement to his private classes and I stand in total agreement with it. Not meaning I stand in agreement with everything done or said by any of the references we use. At the same time, does not mean I do not. But we want to give credit where credit is due.
I’ll handle a few other mistranslations here before we go further. The words, Kingdom of God and Kingdom of Heaven have been used interchangeably, translated from the very same words. There is no difference though this has caused a lot of confusion among Bible scholars in sincerely seeking to understand the difference. There is no difference, both words are used interchangeably from the same original word.
Another faulty translation is in translating at one time the Greek word “Ekklesia” 115 times as “church” and 3 times, “assembly”. This caused bitter conflict at one time between religious groups as both “Church of God” and “Assembly of God” are found in the scriptures. It is one thing to divide due to different understanding of scripture but to divide over a translator’s error is foolish to say the least.
The actual meaning of the word translated both “church” and “assembly” is a gathering of the “called out” ones It was never meant to be turned into an organization for control of the people.
In the early years the “called out” ones met mostly in homes and this was done on a daily basis, going from house to house breaking bread which means sharing the understanding of the truth taught by our beloved Yeshua. He explained this when he told his disciples to beware of the “leaven of the Pharisees”. When they questioned among themselves was it that they did not bring bread to eat, he instructed them he was not speaking of literal bread but of the doctrine of the Pharisees.
The scriptures interpret themselves and it would be good for the serious student to make a habit of daily reading a portion of them until at least once the whole of the scriptures have been read. The first reading will bring many questions to mind which will be answered as one continues the study.
I believe If one reads 4 chapters a day the whole bible can be read in somewhat less than a year and it gives leeway for a few days to be missed.
This is all I have. Place the footer I’ve asked to be place on my teachings over the last fifteen years, please.

Val and I mean no harm to any religion nor do we condemn the followerers. But to the Bible fighters we only ask that they not throw out the baby with the bathwater until reading it rather than taking what has been taught in the religious "cemetaries" excuse the misspelling of "seminaries"...… but that's what we used to call them in the healing ministgry of the 50's.
