There Are No Races (part 3)

Since this 'race' issue (together with confusIon it comes with) have nowadays so much infiltrated ACC, may be I should also write something about it as well. Now if you close examine, you will find that some Europeans etc have similar blood group etc as some Africans etc. So if we group humans into 'races' based on blood groups, you will find that half of Europeans will be of the same 'race' as half of Africans!..................................................................In the tradition (and out-dated) 'race' categorization, we will say: ..................................................................................................People of different 'races' (meaning skin color etc) can have similar blood, and people of the same 'race' can have different blood ...........................................................................But with equal scientific validity, we could have as well categorize people using the blood group and rather say..............................................................People of different 'races' (now meaning blood groups), can have the same skin color and people of the same race can have have different skin colours...........................................................................Or I can say it is equally valid to say 'skin color, nose shape etc has nothing yo do with someone's 'race',' like we often say in other features, based on a different criteria of grouping people into 'races'.............................................................................The latter way of categorizing is akin to forming an heliocentric model of solar system! Rather than centering on skin colour etc, we can form another center and a different picture of the world emerges! So we see the mistake we humans made. We took the APPEARANCE too seriously and we form a flawed geocentric model where everything revolves around the earth. We even grouped stars into 'Gemini', 'Sagittarius' etc, forgetting that we can as well stand on another planet and the universe will appear totally differently, with, for instance, the stars we grouped under 'Gemini' etc seeming now to have nothing more in common!.............................................................................Likewise it is human nature to see people's faces. So it isn't a surprise that a casual perception of people would form a criteria based solely on facial features such as noses, lips, eyes, skin colors etc. This features has nothing that is more biologicaly important. It is just per chance the case that humans stare at faces, that is all. It is a casual and superficial categorization best explained by a psychologist rather than by a biologist! It tells us more about people's minds than people's noses, lips etc!.................................................................................If, on the other hand, we tried to examine if say Africans, when we consider ALL features (not just noses etc), generaly have more features in common to themselves than say shared features between Africans and Europeans, in the hope of forming 'races' based on GENERAL similarity rather than cherry picking some features, we find that humans can never be categorized into 'races' in this way! Consider ALL features in general, and you find that Africans etc differs amongst themselves just as much or even more than they differ from Europeans! It is in this way that we can conclude that there are no 'races' as such! It is a product of superficial perception!
