To be honest, the initial message sounded a LOT like a sales-pitch actually. Paul just happened to comment on it first. Commenting on things does NOT equal "disinfo agent". A disinfo agent would never bother with a lone saleman in the first place. :)
Then I google "Astral Portal Device" and it turns out it's not a "thing" that can be sold. It's a visual tool that can be used.
