Teacher:
Sacred Scribe

Hello Dear Readers,
I believe that this teaching has come through at this time because Thoth wants us to know that 'first contact' has been made before and that if 'Hairy Barbarians' can take that experience and run with it for the good of mankind then surely Humanity today can!

Thoth already comes to us modern day seekers, in several forms. He is known to some as Thoth the Atlantean, who found the path to eternal life/light.

This Thoth is the Author of The Emerald Tablets, a sensational find among seekers at the time when it was transcribed in the 1930s.

Thoth is also considered the God of the Moon, Magic, Wisdom and Writing by ancient Egyptians.

He may also be a Priest of Great Order for Christianity if Thoth and Melchizedek are one and the same as this Author postulates.

Ancient Egyptians use pictures as words.

The hieroglyph/picture for Thoth actually describes him.

Thoth’s Hieroglyph has the head of an Ibis (the curved beak symbolises a crescent of the moon) and he holds papyrus reeds (symbolising paper for writing).

Ancient Egypt also depicts Thoth holding in his left hand the symbol of the Ankh. This important symbol to Egyptians was Thoth’s to wield.

The Ankh, a symbol for eternal life, eternal freedom is a revered symbol. Although lost to general modern day Christianity, it is still used in Egyptian Coptic (Christian) churches today.

Thoth the Atlantean writes in The Emerald Tablets of his longing (and his ultimate success) to free his soul. How many of us can resonate with his words below?

"A Long time ago I, in my childhood, lay neath the stars on long buried Atlantis, dreaming of mysteries far above men.

Then in my heart, grew there a great longing to conquer the pathway that led to the Stars.

Year after year I sought after wisdom, seeking new knowledge, following the way, until at last my soul, in great travail, broke from its bondage of earth-man.

Free from the body, I flashed through the night. Unlocked at last for me was the star-space; free was I from the bondage of night.

Now to the end of space sought I wisdom, far beyond knowledge of finite man".

But the plot thickens!

Taken from the 1998 Grail issue of ‘Temple Doors’; According to Thoth, the name Melchizedek can be used to refer to two different entities.

The first being the greater universal Melchizedekean archetype -as a composite being beyond the vibration of what we understand as a soul.

Secondly the Lord Melchizedek, who was an ensouled yet illumined entity.

This Lord Melchizedek is the being Thoth claims as one of his previous incarnations in the time of Lemuria according to ‘Temple doors’.

Also from The Emerald Tablets:

In the great city of KEOR on the island of UNDAL, (a part of Atlantis)
in a time far past, I began this incarnation.
Not as the little men of the present age did
the mighty ones of Atlantis live and die,
but rather from aeon to aeon did they renew
their life in the Halls of Amenti where the river of life
flows eternally onward.

A hundred times ten
have I descended the dark way that led into light,
and as many times have I ascended from the
darkness into the light my strength and power renewed.

Now for a time I descend,
and the men of KHEM (Khem is ancient Egypt)
shall know me no more.

But in a time yet unborn will I rise again,
mighty and potent, requiring an accounting
of those left behind me.

Thoth speaks in The Emerald Tablets of descending and ascending to The Halls of Amenti to renew his everlasting body over 100x10 or 1000 times.

In the ‘Ancient Secret’ writings Thoth states he learned 52,000 years ago to stay conscious in one body continuously without dying; only periodically descending to the Halls of Amenti-when needed.

There is in the Bible also a Melchizedek who met Abraham in Khem/Egypt.

What a coincidence. Did Thoth use his name from his previous Lemurian incarnation again when he arrived in the land of Khem after Atlantis fell?

If so it would have been a mighty helpful to have done so for us seekers today.

Are the Lemurian Melchizedek, Thoth the Atlantean and the Bible Melchizedek one and the same person spanning hundreds of thousands of years?

In holding up the stories side by side from both Biblical and Spiritual sources, it may appear to be so.

It is interesting to note that Melchizedek is only directly referred to in the entire Bible three times, once in the Old Testament in the VERY first book (rather an auspicious place to be) and again in Psalms when David prophesied the life of Jesus and likened it to who? …the life of Melchizedek –as what?... as being Forever.

Then again Melchizedek is spoken of in Hebrews which is in the New Testament after Jesus’ death and resurrection.

Here Christ and Melchizedek are described as being Great Priests of the Order of Melchizedek.

Nowhere in the Bible is Jesus held up side by side with anyone other than God, other than Melchizedek. Yet so little is known about Melchizedek, so little said of him…

And what is said about him is quite strange and perplexing to Christians as they even today try to place who this Melchizedek fellow is.

Hebrews is a unique book as well, for the writer of Hebrews is not known.

This is the only book in the Bible that has no known author.

Yet it was clearly thought to be an important part of the Word of God by the early Christian Churches who had the decision making power over what would go in the Bible and what could be left out!

From the Bible we know that Melchizedek was a Great High Priest of God, that he had no Mother or Father, no Genealogy at all (in a time where Genealogy was EVERYTHING).

He just appeared!

From the writings of Drunvalo Melchizedek in his books “The ancient secret of the Flower of Life” he tells Thoth’s personal story of his work in service to God in Egypt after the Atlantean Fall, setting up (again) Humanities long climb to higher levels of consciousness.

(This catastrophe occurred by the way due to some actions of some corrupt scientist/Mages that violated universal law with their arrogant use of science/magic and let open a flood gate of darkness… which in the high energies of Atlantis caused immediate manifestation of chaos).

Atlantis had to be shut down or Hell on Earth would ensue.

Be assured this time will not be a repeat of Atlantis. We are too strong, we ‘Suns of God’ are too many!!

In the account told to Drunvalo by Thoth, him and others of the Brotherhood of Light were called to service in order to get both the whole Earth, both light and the dark back on a track of healing and higher consciousness in a new lifting effort which was to be 12,900 years in length to raise consciousness to dimensions where unity, love, truth and wisdom would prevail again.

Drunvalo speaks in ‘Ancient Secrets’ of being told by Thoth that he and several other Atlanteans escaped Atlantis intact.

They then had to wait about 6000 years (!) before humanities’ consciousness was raised enough for them to begin to make contact and re-establish civilisation.

They then landed in the land of Khem. (Khem is loosely translated as the land of hairy Barbarians!) It is an area in Egypt called the Giza Plateau.

Thoth/Drunvalo assert this was a chosen place because the axis of the old unity consciousness grid (from Atlantean times) extended out of earth at that point.

They were going to begin to rebuild a new grid on the old axis, according to instructions given by Source.

They also had to begin to rebuild a collective consciousness that was a lot more than the current low level immediately post Atlantis as part and parcel of forming the Christ Consciousness grid.

It is important to explain here that to embark on such a mission, to bring essential knowledge of science/magic and teaching methods of elevation of consciousness one had to be around for the long haul.

In The Emerald Tablets Thoth speaks of his path to eternal life… his searching for wisdom as a great yearning that he wanted his soul to fly and to explore all of creation and after much ‘travail’ his soul did fly and he explored much of creation seeking ever more wisdom.

Drunvalo writes also that Thoth stepped into another body during the times of ancient Greece and became Hermes.

It would appear that the Lemurian Lord Melchizedek who was to become Thoth the Atlantean was also Hermes in another incarnation.

He is certainly a Being of immense greatness and longevity.

A being that has searched long to find the workings of Universal laws of Creation within this universe and has certainly been instrumental in furthering Creation on a grand scale!

Drunvalo/Thoth assert in ‘The Ancient Secrets’ that Thoth was indeed able to live for many long periods, seeking rest in the Halls of Amenti periodically and then returning in life once again.

Thoth settled in Egypt for a few thousand years. Other bands of consciousness pioneers, who were called to survive Atlantis like him, settled in India and Tibet and seeded rapidly advancing civilisations there.

The ancient civilisations in these regions are well known for their advanced knowledge of life, death and creation.

Knowledge that fell again behind the veil for virtually all of humanity in the great push/pull of the cycles within the larger 12900 year cycle of consciousness raising (of which we are at an end/new beginning!).

The Melchizedek from the Bible is found in Genesis, the very first book in the Bible. Genesis spans more time than any other book. In fact, it covers more than all the other 65 books of the Bible put together (approximately 2400 years).

Its Author is Moses, who was the seventh generation down from the Abraham who Melchizedek met and blessed.

Moses lived to 120 years. Most of those descendants of Abraham (the hairy barbarian who became one of The Bibles great figures) lived for well over a hundred years according to the Bible.

Abraham lived for 175 years (Gen 25:7) Isaac; his only son lived to be 180! The Gospel of Luke reminds us that Moses was trained in the “wisdom of the Egyptians” (Acts 7:22)

Was it actually Atlantean wisdom handed down the line to Moses?

Was it Thoth/Melchizedek’s teachings that helped increase the longevity of Abraham’s line?

Imagine the scene when Abraham met Thoth or Melchizdek as he may have called himself!

Accrding to Thoth's own account channeled to Drunvalo, Thoth the Atlantean and his crew arrive in Khem in their spaceship (yes spaceship, bear with me!).

They land on this ancient land which at that time was quite lush but is now Desert.

From the Bible account we know that when Abraham met Melchizedek, Abraham was in full blood after a mighty victory where he has just fought several rival tribes and successfully retrieved all his relatives, a lot of loot and a pile of newly captured slaves.

Genesis 14 states “Abraham met Melchizedek… and that Melchizedek then blessed Abraham” (to bless in those days is to pronounce superiority).

The blessing was so impressive that Abraham immediately gave him a tenth of everything. Abraham then vowed to God that he would accept none of the possessions, slaves or loot himself (Gen 14:22). (After going to so much effort and bloodshed to get them!)

The Biblical account of the effect of this Melchizedek fellow was clearly profound, making Abraham turn over a new leaf and free his newly caught slaves and as well give up a tenth of his possessions.

The Drunvalo/Thoth account of meeting the ‘Hairy Barbarians’ from “Ancient Secrets” is that Thoth showed them some Atlantean magic and literally impressed Abraham’s socks off and from there he began to take Abraham’s line and rebuild civilised thought, truth, purity, wisdom and eventually pass on and preserve the science/alchemy he had retrieved from Atlantean times.

The Bible has two other very honourable titles for Melchizedek.

The Hebrew word Melchizedek literally means “King of Righteousness”, and then he is also named in the Bible “King of Salem” (peace).

The Bible says “He is without father or mother or genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but resembling the Son of God he continues a priest forever.”

In Judaism no one could be a Priest without their Genealogy records so this fact of Melchizedek’s having no beginning and no end speaks again of the sort of eternal life that Thoth the Atlantean speaks of in The Emerald Tablets and in “The Ancient Secrets”.

David (who was of the line of Abraham but 1000 years later) speaks also of Melchizedek in one of his Psalms (songs). In the book of Psalms, speaking prophetically of Christ some 900 years before Jesus lived, David stated:

"The Eternal hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek." (Psalm 110:4)

In Hebrews written after Jesus had lived (Heb 5:6) Melchizedek pops up for the third time in the Bible when the author likens the Priesthood of Jesus to that of Melchizedek by referring to David’s Psalm:

“And he (God) says…. ‘You (Jesus) are a priest for ever, in the order of Melchizedek”

From The Emerald Tablets an account of the end of one era and the beginning of the next…

Down sank Atlantis beneath the dark waves.
Shattered the gateway that had been opened;
shattered the doorway that led down below.
All of the islands were shattered except UNAL,
and part of the island of the sons of the DWELLER.

Preserved HE them to be the teachers,
Lights on the path for those to come after,
Lights for the lesser children of men.

Called HE then, I THOTH, before him,
gave me commands for all I should do, saying;
"Take thou, O THOTH, all of your wisdom.

Take all your records, Take all your magic.
Go thou forth as a teacher of men.
Go thou forth reserving the records
until in time LIGHT grows among men.
LIGHT shalt thou be all through the ages,
hidden yet found by enlightened men.
Over all Earth, give WE ye power,
free thou to give or take it away.

Gather thou now the sons of Atlantis.
Take them and flee to the people of the rock caves.
Fly to the land of the Children of KHEM."
Then gathered I the sons of Atlantis.
Into the spaceship* I brought all my records,
brought the records of sunken Atlantis.
Gathered I all of my powers,
instruments many of mighty magic.

Up then we rose on wings of the morning.
High we arose above the Temple,
leaving behind the Three and DWELLER,
deep in the HALLS 'neath the Temple,
closing the pathway to the LORDS of the Cycles.

Yet ever to him who has knowing,
open shall be the path to AMENTI.
Fast fled we then on the wings of the morning,
fled to the land of the children of KHEM.
There by my power,
I conquered and ruled them.

Raised I to LIGHT,
the children of KHEM.
Deep 'neath the rocks,
I buried my spaceship,
waiting the time when man might be free.

Over the spaceship,
erected a marker in the form
of a lion yet like unto man. (The Sphinx?)
There 'neath the image rests yet my spaceship,
forth to be brought when need shall arise.

Did the teachings of Melchizedek allow Abraham and his descendants to achieve a level of civilisation that went in a relatively short time from ‘Hairy Barbarian’ to building great cities, temples and Pyramids?

Did his teachings cause these people to live long lives?

Their lives were certainly much longer than we even expect to have today with all the advanced society we think we are!

*Note: The Merkaba:
‘Merkaba’ - mentioned 44 times in the Old Testament- is a chariot presumed by most scholars to be referring to a horse drawn vehicle; other than Isaiah’s’ description which is agreed to be thought to be a vision of an angelic vehicle of some sort.

The Merkaba is also the word used for the field of living energy surrounding any sentient being according to Thoth.

Thoth’s teaching through Drunvalo is about working with this living field- and that it can be a means of inter-dimensional travel or in other words the Merkaba can be a sort of personal spaceship, as well as being our source of physical regeneration and renewal as well as an unlimited source of human potential for creativity.

And so it is.

Further Note: The Old Testament also mentions Nephilim and Giant sized races, both of which are spoken about by Thoth as root races that were from times of Lemuria and Atlantis. But that is for another time.

Egypt: Seshat, Female Scribe, Goddess of Writing Measurement, A Feature Tour Egypt Story

Seshat, Female Scribe, Goddess of Writing Measurement

    By Caroline Seawright

    sshSeshat determinative

Seshat (Sashet, Sesheta), meaning 'female scribe', was seen as the goddess of writing, historical records, accounting and mathematics, measurement and architecture to the ancient Egyptians. She was depicted as a woman wearing a panther-skin dress (the garb of the funerary stm priests) and a headdress that was also her hieroglyph - Seshat determinative - which may represent either a stylized flower or seven pointed star on a standard that is beneath a set of down-turned horns. (The horns may have originally been a crescent, linking Seshat to the moon and hence to her spouse, the moon god of writing and knowledge, Thoth.)

She was believed to appear to assist the pharaoh at various times, and who kept a record of his life:

It was she who recorded the time allotted to him by the gods for his stay on earth.

She was associated with the pharaoh at the 'stretching the cord' foundation ritual, where she assisted the pharaoh with the measuring process.

During New Kingdom times, she was shown to have been involved in the sed (jubilee) festival of the pharaohs, holding a palm rib to show the passage of time. She kept track of each pharaoh and the period for which he ruled and the speeches made during the crowning rituals. She was also shown writing down the inventory of foreign captives and captured goods from campaigns.

One of the most important ceremonies in the foundation of Egyptian temples was known as Pedjeshes (Pedj--"to stretch," Shes--"a cord") and it forms the subject of one of the chief monumental ornaments in the temples of Abydos, Heliopolis, Denderah, and Edfu.

The reigning pharaoh and a priestess personifying Seshat, the goddess of writing, proceeded to the site, each armed with a golden mallet and a PEG connected by a cord to another PEG. Seshat having driven her peg home at the previously prepared spot, the king directed his gaze to the constellation of the Bull's Foreleg (this constellation is identical with Ursa Major, "Great Bear," and the "hoof" star is Benetnasch, Eta Ursae majoris). Having aligned the cord to the "hoof" and Spica as seen through the visor formed by Seshat's curious headdress, he raised his mallet and drove the peg home, thus marking the position of the axis of the future temple.

Seshat has no temples that have been found, though she did have a priesthood in early times. Along with her priestess', there were a few priests in the order - the Slab Stela of Prince Wep-em-nefret, from the Fourth Dynasty, gives him the title of Overseer of the Royal Scribes, Priest of Seshat. It was at a later time that the priests of Thoth took over the priesthood of Seshat.

Seti I, at Abydos, dedicated part of his temple to the goddess:

The staircase of the temple ... bears an address in 43 columns of the goddess Seshat to the king (KRI I, 186-188). The text displays a rigid scheme which deals with the temple itself and its two groups of occupants (the king and the gods) and in which pseudo-verbal/ temporal aspects and non-verbal sentences/ a-temporal aspects alternate.

The author demonstrates that the three main elements, temple, gods and king, have each their proper place in the sophisticated and complicated structure of the text. The address consists of three parts. The first concerns the temple, its conception and its realisation.

The second presents the gods who live there and guarantee its sacral nature. The third part is devoted to the king, the celebrant par excellence, who certifies its functioning.

This last part has a very intricate structure, with reference to the Horus and solar aspect of the king, the Osirian aspect, and the relationship between the two. At the conclusion of the address Seshat speaks, in order to fulfil her usual task of registering the divine kingship of the pharaoh as living Horus, according to the orders of Ra and the decree of Atum. - Dominique Bastin, De la fondation d'un temple: "Paroles dites par Seshat au Roi Sethi Ier,"

Thoth was thought to be her male counterpart and father, and she was often depicted as his wife by the Egyptians. Some believe her to be an example of Egyptian duality, as she bears many of the traits of Thoth.

She was thought to be linked with the goddess Nephthys who was given the title 'Seshat, Foremost of Builders' in the Pyramid texts. She was also identified with Isis. Safekh-Aubi (Sefekh-Aubi) is a title that came from Seshat's headdress, that may have become an aspect of Seshat or an actual goddess. Safekh-Aubi means 'She Who Wears the Two Horns' and relates to the horns that appear above Seshat's standard.

The Egyptians believed that Seshat invented writing, while Thoth taught writing to mankind. She was known as 'Mistress of the House of Books', indicating that she also took care of Thoth's library of spells and scrolls. It was as 'Mistress of the House of Architects' that she helped the pharaoh set the foundations of temples with indication that she set the axis by the aid of the stars.

Pharaoh Hatshepsut depicted both Seshat and Thoth as those who made the inventory of treasures brought back from Punt:

Thoth made a note of the quantity and Seshat verified the figures.

Seshat was the only female that has been found (so far) actually writing. Other women have been found holding a scribe's writing brush and palette - showing that they could read and write - but these women were never shown in the act of writing itself.

She was a rather important goddess, even from earlier times in the Pyramid texts. She was the first and foremost female scribe - accountant, historian and architect to both the pharaoh and the gods. She was the female goddess of positions belonging mostly to men. Yet she did not have a personal name, only a title - Seshat, the Female Scribe.

  • dear Meindert, thankyou for the excellent information, also, while on line with study,i found this, which maybe of interest to you, blessings starchild( A solar deity is a god or goddess who represents the Sun, or an aspect of it, usually by its perceived power and strength. Solar deities and sun worship can be found throughout most of recorded history in various forms.

  • I found this too about Thoth:

The Wisdom of Thoth-Hermes: The Origin of Reason

“The lips of wisdom are closed, except to the ears of Understanding”-The Kybalion.

As I work to complete my first book, “The Essence of Prophecy,” I began to read the works of Thoth in relation to the creation of man, the proper way of obtaining knowledge, as well as the real way to enter the kingdom of god (the eternity, that when contemplated and acted upon, enables immortality).

Following this brief introduction is a selection from Manly P. Hall’s, “The Secret Teachings of All Ages”, of which is a classic in esoteric hermeticism and in furthering one’s understanding of the true nature of things. After first introducing a general background for Thoth, in his many characters and representations throughout history, I will conclude this segment with my interpretation of these texts.

    THE MANY INCARNATIONS OF THOTH
Thoth, or Thoth-Hermes, was known by many names throughout the history of mankind and is best described as a masculine emanation of the lower form of God which was instructed to bestow (or in some versions of the story, stole and delivered) unto man the knowledge of the Universe, our true origin, and our way back to the Source (God).

The following excerpt is the story of creation, as told to the scribe of the God’s himself, Thoth-Hermes Trimegustus. This is the story which seeded all forms of current theological creation mythologies. In case readers of this are not aware, the relativity of time and the intentional alteration of language have both obstructed the nature of our true history and have since warped many stories together.

This lead to an interweaving of fact with fiction, the stars with humanity and the covering up the names of the old (Gods) with newer names relevant to that of the particular Age, language and heritage newly inheriting the archetypal wisdom for themselves.

    THOTH
“Mind (as well as metals and elements) may be transmuted, from state to state; degree to degree; condition to condition; pole to pole; vibration to vibration. True Hermetic Transmutation is a Mental Art.”-The Kybalion.

Thoth is where we get the word, “thought” from; which should give you a hint as to where the etymology might stem from.
Thoth’s other names include Djehuty, Jehuti, Tahuti, Tehuti, Zehuti, Techu, or Tetu, Lord of the Khemenu. One of Thoth’s titles, “Three times great, great” was translated to the Greek (Trismegistos) making Hermes Trismegistus.

Thoth was considered one of the more important deities of the Egyptian pantheon, often depicted with the head of an Ibis. It was also stated that Astennu was merely another aspect of Thoth, as the god could take the form of a baboon. He was one of four baboons who stood around the lake of fire at the place of judgement in Duat, and consequently associated with Utennu.

He appears in spell 17 of the Book of the Dead. The name Astennu means the moon - which may be part of why the ibis-headed deity is commonly seen with a lunar disk.

Here we again we see Hermes standing on the back of the divine serpent of wisdom, illustrating his power over ignorance.

    HERMES TRIMEGISTUS
Hermes Trismegistus (Greek for “Hermes the thrice-greatest” or Mercurius ter Maximus in Latin, is the syncretism of the Greek god Hermes and the Egyptian Thoth. In Hellenistic Egypt, the god Hermes was given as epithet the Greek name of Thoth. He has also been identified with Enoch. The name Hermes is derived from “Herm,” a form of CHiram, the Personified Universal Life Principle, generally represented by fire. The Scandinavians worshiped Hermes under the name of Odin; the Teutons as Wotan, and certain of the Oriental peoples as Buddha, or Fo.

Master of all arts and sciences. perfect in all crafts, Ruler of the Three Worlds, Scribe of the Gods, and Keeper of the Books of Life, Thoth Hermes Trismegistus-the Three Times Greatest, the “First Intelligencer”-was regarded by the ancient Egyptians as the embodiment of the Universal Mind. While in all probability there actually existed a great sage and educator by the name of Hermes, it is impossible to extricate the historical man from the mass of legendary accounts which attempt to identify him with the Cosmic Principle of Thought.

Both Thoth and Hermes were gods of writing and of magic in their respective cultures. Thus the Greek god of interpretive communication was combined with the Egyptian god of wisdom as a patron of astrology and alchemy. In addition, both gods were psychopomps, guiding souls to the afterlife. The majority of Greeks as well as Romans, did not accept Hermes Trismegistus in the place of Hermes and the two gods remained distinguished from one another.

    The Book of Enoch
    ENOCH
Enoch was also Thoth, Hermes, Zoroaster, Metatron, among others who wrote books about the Sacred Knowledge of Creation. In the Qur’an, Enoch is called Idris. In the bible he is sometimes called Akhnookh.

  • Dear Starchild here comes info about Thoth ,and is incarnations:

Incarnations of THOTH according to Crystalinks

from Crystalinks Website Thoth's other names include: Djhuty Djehuty Dhouti Djehuti Tehuty Tehuti Thout Zehuti Sheps Lord of the Khemenu Thoth was the god who overcame the curse of Ra, allowing Nut to give birth to her five children, with his skill at games.

It was he who helped Isis work the ritual to bring Osiris back from the dead, and who drove the magical poison of Set from her son, Horus with the power of his magic.

He was Horus' supporter during the young god's deadly battle with his uncle Set, helping Horus with his wisdom and magic. It was Thoth who brought Tefnut, who left Egypt for Nubia in a sulk after an argument with her father, back to heaven to be reunited with Ra.

Tefnut, the Eye of Ra, became estranged from her father and fled into Nubia, taking all of her precious water with her. In this land, she transformed herself into a lioness. She raged through the countryside, emitting flames from her eyes and nostrils.

Viciously, she drank the blood and fed on the flesh of both animals and humans. As time went on, Ra missed his Eye, and longed to see her again - Egypt had dried, and the land was in chaos.

He summoned Shu to him, along with Thoth, who was the messenger of the gods and famous for his eloquence. Ra issued the command that Shu and Thoth must go to Nubia and bring back his recalcitrant daughter.

Before they set off on their journey Shu and Thoth disguised themselves as baboons. The baboon is an animal sacred to Thoth. Eventually, Thoth and Shu found Tefnut in Begum. Thoth began at once to try and persuade her to return to Egypt.

Tefnut, however, wasn't interested. She liked hunting in the desert and was perfectly happy where she was. Thoth would not give up though, and wove stories to depict to her how gloom had descended upon Egypt since she had left.

The people of Egypt would do anything for her if she'd just return home. Ultimately, wooed by Thoth's promises, Tefnut relented and returned to Egypt accompanied by the two baboons.

All the way there, Thoth kept her entertained with stories. Tefnut made a triumphant entry back into the homeland, accompanied by a host of Nubian musicians, dancers and baboons. She went from city to city, bringing back moisture and water, amid great rejoicing, until finally she was reunited with her father, and restored to her rightful position as his Eye.

When Ra retired from the earth, he appointed Thoth and told him of his desire to create a Light-soul in the Duat and in the Land of the Caves, and it was over this region that the sun god appointed Thoth to rule, ordering him to keep a register of those who were there, and to mete out just punishments to them.

Thoth became the representation of Ra in the afterlife, seen at the judgment of the dead in the 'Halls of the Double Ma'at'. The magical powers of Thoth were so great, that the Egyptians had tales of a 'Book of Thoth', which would allow a person who read the sacred book to become the most powerful magician in the world.

The Book which "the god of wisdom wrote with his own hand" was, though, a deadly book that brought nothing but pain and tragedy to those that read it, despite finding out about the "secrets of the gods themselves" and "all that is hidden in the stars".

Depictions of Thoth In art, Thoth was usually depicted with the head of an ibis, deriving from his name, and the curve of the ibis' beak, which resembles the crescent moon. Thoth the Scribe, wrote the story of our reality then placed it into grids for us to experience and learn through the alchemy of time and consciousness.

He was sometimes depicted with the face of a dog-headed baboon and the body of a man or, again, as a full dog-headed baboon. The ibis, it is thought, had a crescent shaped beak, linking the bird to the moon.

The dog-headed baboon, on the other hand, was a night animal that was seen by the Egyptians who would greet the sun with chattering noises each morning just as Thoth, the moon god, would greet Ra, the sun god, as he rose. [Baboon - symbol of evolution of the human experiment in time.]

Thoth The Scribe Thoth became credited by the ancient Egyptians as the inventor of writing, and was also considered to have been the scribe of the underworld, and the moon became occasionally considered a separate entity, now that Thoth had less association with it, and more with wisdom. For this reason Thoth was universally worshipped by ancient Egyptian Scribes.

Also, he became credited as the inventor of the 365-day (rather than 360-day) calendar, it being said that he had won the extra 5 days by gambling with the moon, then known as Iabet, in a game of dice, for 1/72nd of its light (5 = 360/72).

When the Ennead and Ogdoad systems started to merge, one result was that, for a time, Horus was considered a sibling of Isis, Osiris, Set, and Nephthys, and so it was said that Hathor/Nuit had been cursed against having children during the (360) day year, but was able to have these five over the 5 extra days won by Thoth.

Thoth and Seshat Thoth was thought to be scribe to the gods, who kept a great library of scrolls, over which one of his wives, Seshat (the goddess of writing) was thought to be mistress. He was associated by the Egyptians with speech, literature, arts, learning.

He, too, was a measurer and recorder of time, as was Seshat. Many ancient Egyptians believed that Seshat invented writing, while Thoth taught writing to mankind. She was known as 'Mistress of the House of Books', indicating that she also took care of Thoth's library of spells and scrolls.

Seshat is the Goddess of Libraries, all forms of Writing and the Measurement of Time. Thoth and Ma'at Believed to be the author of the spells in the Book of the Dead, he was a helper (and punisher) of the deceased as they try to enter the underworld. In this role, his wife was Ma'at, the personification of order, who was weighed against the heart of the dead to see if they followed Ma'at during their life. Centre of Worship During the late period of Egyptian history a cult of Thoth gained prominence, due to its main centre, Khnum (Hermopolis Magna), in Upper Egypt also becoming the capital, and millions of dead ibis were mummified and buried in his honor.

The rise of his cult also lead to his cult seeking to adjust mythology to give Thoth a greater role, including varying the Ogdoad cosmogony myth so that it is Thoth who gives birth to Ra/Atum/Nefertum/Khepri, as a result of laying, as an ibis, an egg containing him.

Later it was said that this was done in the form of a goose - literally as a goose laying a golden egg. The sound of his song was thought to have created four frog gods and snake goddesses of the Ogdoad who continued Thoth's song, helping the sun journey across the sky.

Thoth was inserted in many tales as the wise counsel and persuader, and his association with learning, and measurement, lead him to be connected with Seshat, the earlier deification of wisdom, who became said to be his daughter, or variably his wife.

Thoth's qualities also lead to him being identified by the Greeks with their closest matching god - Hermes, with whom Thoth was eventually combined, as Hermes Trismegistus, also leading to the Greeks naming Thoth's cult centre as Hermopolis, meaning city of Hermes.

Thoth was, the 'One who Made Calculations Concerning the Heavens, the Stars and the Earth' the 'Reckoner of Times and of Seasons' the one who 'Measured out the Heavens and Planned the Earth' he was 'He who Balances' the 'God of the Equilibrium' and 'Master of the Balance' 'The Lord of the Divine Body' 'Scribe of the Company of the Gods' the 'Voice of Ra' the 'Author of Every Work on Every Branch of Knowledge, Both Human and Divine' he who understood 'all that is hidden under the heavenly vault' Thoth was not just a scribe and friend to the gods, but central to order - ma'at - both in Egypt and in the Duat.

He was 'He who Reckons the Heavens, the Counter of the Stars and the Measurer of the Earth'. There is an Egyptian pharaoh of the Sixteenth dynasty of Egypt named Djehuty (Thoth) after him, and who reigned for three years. More About Thoth Geometry - Reality - Time Reality is myth, math, and metaphor. It is a consciousness computer experiment in time and illusion created by thought consciousness. The name Thoth means 'Thought' and 'Time'.

Thoth was the master architect who created the blueprint of our reality based on the patterns of sacred geometry or 12 around 1. The program follows binary code 1010101 [ON OFF ON OFF - Matter Anti-Matter] and repeats in cycles called time. It is here - in the duality - duat - underworld - chaos - void - place of creation 'outside the box' of our experience - reflected in gods and goddesses, the landscapes of Egypt including the pyramids and temples - that we experience until we evolve in the alchemy of time and consciousness.

Thoth created a grid program of experience - electromagnetic in nature to allow for the bipolar aspects of linear time and illusion. In so doing, we go to 4 [time] and 3 [3D physical reality]. Thoth constructed a pyramidal shaped vehicle which personifies the nature of reality. He placed half above - "As is Above" in the nonphysical and half below "As is Below" thus creating the sands of time - the hourglass - the X Box - at the center of the planet where it all began and will all evolve at Zero Point - a time or place of balance.

Thoth was the 'god of the equilibrium' and considered depictions of him as the 'Master of the Balance' to indicate that he was associated with the precession of the equinoxes - a time when the day and the night were balanced. Thoth played a crucial role in the design and orientation of many famous pyramids, temples and ziggurats.

Thoth as Hermes who was Merlin and The Trickster Thoth and Hidden Knowledge It is written in several ancient texts that Thoth wrote a major work of scriptural importance that would one day be found. Thoth allegedly wrote books in which he set forth fabulous knowledge of magic and incantation then concealed them in a tomb/womb. 42 Books of Thoth Thoth as Hermes in ancient Greece complied the Hermetic Text referred to him as Kore Kosmu.

What he knew, he carved on stone [mataphor of physical plane] then hid most of the information. The sacred symbols of the cosmic elements he hid away using the secrets of Osiris, keeping and maintaining silence, that younger ages of the cosmic time clock might seek them out.

Thoth was said to have succeeded in understanding the mysteries of the heavens and to have revealed them by inscribing them in sacred books which he then hid here on Earth, intending that they should be searched for by future generations but found by those of the bloodline.

Some of these sacred books are referred to as the 42 Books of Instructions or the 42 Books of Thoth which describe the instructions for achieving immortality plus 2 more books kept separately. The dating of the books is somewhere between the third century BC and the first century AD.

Their influence has been tremendous on the development of Western occultism and magic. Neo-pagan witchcraft contains many rituals and much esoteric symbolism based upon Hermetic writings.

According to one legend Hermes Trismegistus, who was a grandson of Adam and a builder of the Egyptian pyramids, authored the books.

But, more probably the books were written by several succeeding persons. According to legend, the books were initially written on papyrus. A chronicler of pagan lore, Clement of Alexandria, stated thirty-six [36] of the Hermetic books contained the entire Egyptian philosophy: four [4] books on astrology ten [10] books called the Hieratic on law ten [10] books on sacred rites and observances two [2] on music and the rest on writing, cosmography, geography, mathematics and measures and training of priests six [6] remaining books concerned medicine and the body discussing diseases, instruments, the eyes and women Most of the Hermetic books - along with others - were lost during the burning of the royal libraries in Alexandria.

The surviving books were secretly buried in the desert where they are presently located. A few initiates of the mystery schools, ancient secret cults, allegedly know their location. What remains of the surviving Hermetic lore has been passed down through generation and published in many languages. Most important of all are three works.

The most important and oldest is The Divine Pymander. It consists on 17 fragments all in one work. Within these fragments are many of the Hermetic concepts, including the was divine wisdom and the secrets of the universe were revealed to Hermes and the way in which Hermes established his ministry to spread this wisdom throughout the world.

The Divine Pymander apparently was revised during the first centuries AD but lost none of its meaning due to incorrect translations. Poimmandres or The Vision is the second book of The Divine Pymander and perhaps the most famous.

It relates Hermes' mystical vision, cosmogony, and the secret sciences of the Egyptians as to culture and the spiritual development of the soul. The third work - Hermes Trismegistus is the wisdom of the Hermetica - Emerald Tablets. Thoth in Other Important Roles Sumerian Gods Reality depicted as a biogenetic experiment with extraterrestrial connotations Enki's youngest son, Ningizzida, was Lord of the Tree of Truth, in Mesopotamia. He played the role of Thoth in Egypt and Hermes the Magician - the Alchemist.

The ancient Mystery School Teachings of Thoth were past down to his Initiates who became the priests. They hid the secret knowledge of creation, passing it down through the ages Rome Mercury who was Hermes in Greek Mythology - Communication Mercury - Messenger of the Gods Mercury is god of trade and profit, merchants and travelers, but originally of the trade in corn.

In later times he was equated with the Greek Hermes. He had a temple in Rome near the Circus Maximus on the Aventine Hill which dates back to 495 BCE. This temple was connected to some kind of trade fair. His main festival, the Mercuralia, was celebrated on May 15 and on this day the merchants sprinkled their heads and their merchandise with water from his well near the Porta Capena.

During the time of the Roman Empire the cult of Mercury was widely spread, especially among the Celtic and Germanic peoples. The Celts have their Gaulish Mercury, and the Germans identified him with their Wodan. The attributes of Mercury are the caduceus (a staff with two intertwined snakes) and a purse (a symbol of his connection with commerce).

He is portrayed similarly to Hermes: dressed in a wide cloak, wearing talaria (winged sandals) and petasus (winged hat). Mercury is also known as Alipes ("with the winged feet"). Quetzalcoatl The Mayan Calendar - Time and and end date of December 21, 2012 Quetzalcoatl was identified to Atlantida, Egypt, Sumer, then later to Mesoamerica and Peru as Quetzacoatl. Quetzalcoatl ("feathered snake") is the Aztec name for the Feathered-Serpent deity of ancient Mesoamerica, one of the main gods of many Mexican and northern Central American civilizations.

The name "Quetzalcoatl" literally means quetzal-bird snake or serpent with feathers of the Quetzal (which implies something divine or precious) in the Nahuatl language. The meaning of his local name in other Mesoamerican languages is similar.

The Maya knew him as Kukulkán; the Quiché as Gukumatz. The Feathered Serpent deity was important in art and religion in most of Mesoamerica for close to 2,000 years, from the Pre-Classic era until the Spanish Conquest. Civilizations worshiping the Feathered Serpent included the Olmec, the Mixtec, the Toltec, the Aztec, and the Maya.

The worship of Quetzalcoatl sometimes included human sacrifices, although in other traditions Quetzalcoatl was said to oppose human sacrifice. Duality itself runs rampant in myth, as well as being found in the astronomical/cosmological associations between Quetzalcoatl and the heavens and stars. Questions run the gamut from his morning star associations (as Venus) to the possibilities of his connection with Mercury.

Ultimately it is this symbolism that runs through the myth and its astrological and cosmological incarnations which raise the questions and hint at Quetzalcoatl's power and pervasiveness. Viracocha Incan God There is a pre-Incan legend that speaks of Viracocha who is depicted in many forms.

There is a duality about this deity, which is not unlike gods in other civilizations - the good god and the warrior side to his personality. We see him as he enlightened god in the white robes who brings knowledge and the warrior god with staves in his hands and a sun symbol around his head, not unlike the sun god Ra in ancient Egypt.

As we third dimension is a duality - all things have good and evil characteristics - including the gods of all myths. Viracocha - as duality is depicted as the sun god of creation [wearing a sun crown] and the moon god. Viracocha, as the feathered serpent god, is one of the great mysteries of ancient American cultures. He was called, Kukulkan by the Mayas Quetzalcoatl by the Aztecs Viracocha by the Incas Gucumatz in central America Votan in Palenque Zamna in Izamal Pre-Inca religions centered in Tiahuanaco City which is where we first learn of a cult of a sky and thunder god named Viracocha. Gods with thunder bolts link with Zeus the main god of ancient Greece.

Atlanteans Chiquitet, Tehuti - Zep Tepi Zep Tepi is Genesis. Zep means Time. Tepi means First. Together they are the First Time or the Golden Age [Alchemy] where the gods moved through the Void and created our reality. The ancient Egyptians who named them the Zep Tepi.

They were the Pantheon of Egyptian Gods, Ptah, Ra, Su, Seb, Set, Osiris, [associated with Orion - god of resurrection and rebirth], Horus, Ma, and Thoth who came to this realm, based on the precession of the equinoxes, approximately 12,500 year ago - give or take a few hundred years.

Their sacred message was recorded in the Emerald Tablet of Thoth the Atlantean who, as the God, Tehuti, was the ruler of Atlantis for an unknown period of time, coming and going through the story of its existence. Persia As the Prophet Zarathustra or Zoroaster The list of roles this soul played is endless from all mythological pantheon gods - religious figures - to famous people in science and history,

creational forces including alien gods, etc... According to a very old Masonic tradition, the Egyptian god Thoth had played a major part in preserving knowledge of the mason craft and transmitting it to mankind after the flood. Our reality is a Masonic Program [mother sound - creation by harmonics] Gods with Water Buckets... Water Bearers - Vessels Alchemy - The Ouroboros Thoth as Nimrod holding a Container - Vessel - Flow of the Collective Unconsciousness - Grids Restore to Zero Point at the Time of the Aquarian Age - Water Bearers Mesopotamia - Iraq - Cradle of Civilization - Sumer Anunnaki - Nibiru Thoth as Zoroaster - the Faravahar Holding an open circle - Omega - Leo Return

  • dear Meindert, thankyou for the excellent information you provided on Seshat,i have always found the subject of Seshat to be of great intrique for me,Meindert, was there any association of Seshat being a "Fire Of God"? as the incarnational process of Seshat, and Thoth would have maybe had other Earthly incarnations after the era of that Ancient Egyptian time line,Meindert, could you possibly have any information on what, and purpose a incarnate with the "Fire Of God" Ray,have at this present time of Earths Evolution? blessings starchild.

  • Love you bro..:-) And you may be right.. I wont disagree, as our beliefs can be as diverse as creation..
My best understanding is that the Kumaras are the first born..Zep Tepi or first time..
And Venus can also have many meanings..Though rooted in the mother..

In truth , love needs no beliefs..Nor religions..

It is in FEELING Gods love that we are freed from feelings of unworthiness or imperfection..

God’s love is like the sun. It is always shining.. And it shines on both aspects..

I AM the Son (Sun) she is my Moon.. I AM King.. She the Queen of my Heart..
    Our love is infinite...And unconditional..

Elders or wisdom keepers.. I should know too, I'm one of them..:-)

A Melchizedek is a priest forever.. As the article stated according to my knowledge..

    The "Great Work" continues indefinitely..

The Temple is not being built in Jerusalem, but in the temples
    that God created..:-)

  • A dear friend of mine told me ,and he knows, that Melchizedek and Thoth are the same man and he is also Sanat Kumara , they are all the very same being.

Hermes Trismegistus and Hermes were other beings.

Thoth, Sanat Kumara was married with his twin Sheshet( the record keeper).

    Thanks to Peter I.

    Love,light and laughter,

    Meindert
