Seasons of Gaia
The earth year starts in winter,
when all around is cold.
Snow on the mountain tops,
only robins would be so bold.
Next she moves into spring,
when her plants begin to grow.
Farmers working in the fields,
planting all the seeds they sow.
Then onto summer when things heat up,
the sun is in full glow.
Children playing on the beach,
and the waterfalls are in free flow.
Finally she moves into autumn,
the leaves change colour and fall.
Animals rebuild their shelters,
and Halloween is a ball.
